As we dip into the heat of summer parties, Ronn and I are always up for a good time and getting dressed up is super fun! So when our friends Caroline and Mike Cusumano invited us to their family’s annual summer bash, we were ready to go, especially when it was a roaring 1920’s theme. This was one great party! You were welcomed with champagne at the entrance and everyone was dressed to impressed in their flapper and gangster garb. Cigarette girls passed around jumbo shrimp and a variety of appetizers, specialty drinks included, “Old Fashions”, “Lynchberg Lemonade” and “Peach Martinis.” The buffet dinner included a variety of pastas, salads and lamb chops, while we enjoyed flapper girls doing the Charleston with a live band performing. It surely felt like we went back in time and we enjoyed every minute of it!
Tina Hillstrom joined us and as always when Caroline, Tina and I get together we have a blast. I felt like this was the topper to my birthday month and one of the best parties I’ve attended this year so far. To my demise, I woke up with a head cold and have been coughing and sneezing ever since, but hey I have great memories of a wonderful finale to my birthday! Although it sucks to have a summer cold, at least it’s not the flu and I’m hoping to be better by for the fourth of July festivities. We have several parties to attend for the 4th, including Hef’s amazing fireworks at the Playboy mansion.
However it’s not all fun in the sun for us, we do have some work involved. Ronn and I have several upcoming magazine shoots and I’m doing a calendar shoot for Shelter Hope Pet Shop. Ronn is also doing a music video for “Addiction” and we are preparing for an exciting upcoming trip to Europe. Will give you more details as they firm up. So summer is flying by for us already, but we are indeed having a good time. We hope you have a wonderful and safe fourth of July and that your summer is as much fun as ours without any of the coughing or sneezing.

I’m happy to know you are enjoying this summer. It took long enough to get here. Saying 4th of July is about the same as half of Summer gone. Everything goes on sale in stores, and not long until School is starting. Seems the days are rolling by so fast. I do hope you and Ronn have wonderful times during the rest of the warm days ahead. You looked great as the girl of the 20’s and Ronn was a great look for the eyes too. Keep up the fun. Still missing Ronn on B&B but this storyline wouldn’t have been a good one for Ronn.
