This Thanksgiving was the first time Ronn and I have missed having turkey, but due to Katherine Kelly Lang’s schedule on B&B, we were trying to make this campaign for Chiarelli furniture work, thus traveling the day before Thanksgiving to Italy. I figured an Italian Thanksgiving wouldn’t be so bad, given how much we love Italian food. And traveling abroad the day before Thanksgiving wasn’t bad at all and quite pleasant actually.
We first stopped in Milan for Ronn to do an appearance on the popular Italian show, “Verissimo.” Then we would travel on to Bari, Italy which is in Puglia. How I wished we had more time to visit our special place, Borgo Egnazia, where we renewed our vows last year, but due to my upcoming surgery, we couldn’t stay in our beloved seconda casa longer. Ronn was asked to make a special appearance on “Ballando Con Le Stelle” and to do a Ski show, but it would be impossible due to my surgery, thus our trip was only a week this time. Visiting and catching up with Katherine Kelly Lang was fun as usual and the Chiarelli campaign was a big success that put a nice touch on our Italian Thanksgiving weekend. We had the most wonderful food and made some new friends that we are planning to revisit Puglia next year to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and our 10th year together. I was quite to surprised to have so many fans asking for my photo and autograph this trip. Seems we have quite a lot of followers for the blog out there and Ronn is obviously loved more than ever, so taking photos is always endless. It’s so beautiful to see and feel the love from Italy, as always.
As always, our trip is never complete without visiting Rome and our soul sister, Lavinia Biagiotti at the gorgeous castle she shares with her mother Laura. We are so at home there and it’s a great place to relax for Ronn. So even though we didn’t have turkey this Thanksgiving, we are still thankful for having visited our seconda casa surrounded by such loving fans and friends.

I am laughing out loud at what Ronn said to the Italian interviewer. Keeping young..Drink lots of water & lots of love making. Well I think I am on the right path. So when I get to his age I..too will be looking pretty good. My Cherie Amore..still misses him on Bold. We wish you both love health & happiness

Hi to all Dev Ronn fans, but did you hear who is going to be playing Ridge on B&B. I thought I saw a picture on a soap magazine of the actor who played Kendall’s husband on AMC. If anyone have the correct into please let me know. So I can stop watching, forever. Under no circumstance do I want anyone to play Ridge except Ronn Moss. The writers should just let the character RIP..or MIA..Just my opinion..What do you guys think?
It is so wonderful that all of you went together. I can see how popular Ronn and KKl are in Italy. They deserve it for the terrible years acting as the love starved couple that should never had the Extra weight involved in their life to make it miserable.
And for you Dev, you are a vey beautiful woman and I would love a photo of you too. You don’t realize that people love you for your beauty and spirit of continuing to presue your dream with Ronn. I hope the trip was as you said So much fun, and maybe you can get another Turkey and bake it in a browning bag in your over on 350* for several hours, make a nice salad or potatoe salad with some cranberry sauce, and a few candy yams. Have KKL over and enjoy being together and thankful for the wonderful friendship that all of you have at home. I wish you had some of these great Louisiana pecans that my yard is full of. My son picks them up and sells to the local farmers market. The price isn’t good now, so he is holding them. Some places aren’t paying hardly anything. They will all go crazy near Christmas. Have you ever tried to make a Cherry and pecan salad? It is great with a light cool Whip. Will keep for days in refrig if you can leave it along. Great big dinner rolls are good, but for all of us on a diet, the potatoes and maybe a roll for each won’t kill the diet completely. Hope you have a good one if you do bake that turkey and have a few guest over. Listen to soft touch Christmas music as you have dinner and I promise you will remember. Love, your friend in Louisiana.
