Ronn and I made our way back home a couple days ago and I came down with a stomach bug. Seems I always get sick coming back from Europe, so it was no fun being sick for Easter, but I’ve had time to write. We are very excited about this new film project based on this amazing book, “The Witchyman.” Ronn and Angie Everhart have been wanting to work together for quite some time and are still gearing up to do our project “411” when we can get the funding in place and the time to do it as it is a trilogy of movies.

Witchyman is also a trilogy based on this book and two more upcoming books from amazing author K.B. Hill and is one of the best scripts I’ve read in years! This is one scary thriller that will have you on the edge of your seats! So when Angie asked Ronn if he would be interested in playing the role and to meet the author, we were shocked to hear some of the things she wrote was loosely based on some true stories from her hometown of Winnipeg, Canada.

We have an amazing director, Andre’ Luis Carvalho from Brazil and Ronn has committed to play the dark serial killer known as, “The Witchyman.” Angie will play an artist that he is obsessed with and you will not recognize Angie or Ronn in this nail biting, deeply dark feature film that has a very valuable message in the wake of this whole #metoo era. It will be a beautifully shot film with some very ugly secrets that may disturb many and a role of a lifetime for both Angie and Ronn.

We want you guys to be involved from the humble beginnings to the very end and we need your help in sharing our trailer in hopes of raising the needed funds so we can shoot the actual trailer to make our movie happen quickly! Everyone will benefit depending on what you can donate to this project and for you bigger spenders you can have a lunch with Angie and Ronn in Hollywood! We are so excited to get this film made both as producers and for Ronn to star in a deep role, such as this one. I highly recommend you guys read “The Witchyman” book and spread the word to help fund this project so that you can see it on the silver screen! So please retweet and share to your social media and donate whatever you can so that we can make this wonderful film happen!!

The past few weeks have felt like a tour of Europe for us because we have been living mostly out of our suitcases. Since Ronn likes to mix business with pleasure when coming to Europe, I’m totally okay with this European tour. When Ronn was on B&B he would often come to Europe and would never get to really visit the places he would go to because he had to rush back to do scenes for B&B, so now when we travel to Europe, we like to take our time and really take in the cities and sites we are visiting. So while we come often these days for business, we are indeed enjoying ourselves in the process and taking time to spend having fun as well. This trip was primary for “Fashion Week” in Milan to attend the Laura Biagiotti fashion show. It was the first for Lavinia Biagiotti since her mother Laura passed away last year and we couldn’t have been more proud of her. The show was a smashing success! It became apparent that Ronn can no longer walk around Milan without getting mobbed for photos by nearly everyone! He had to have a police escort and had to take cover in stores to get a break from it, but the love that Italy has for him is so beautiful to witness. It also seems to be that way everywhere we go in Europe and of all ages, including young men and women.

It was also near Ronn’s birthday and we both had a last minute opportunity to be included in the Comic Con convention in Rotterdam. I had done a Comic con show in San Diego in the past, but Ronn had never done these type of shows and I thought it would be fun for him to experience one. Those of you who haven’t been to these kinds of shows may not know what die hard fans go to them and dress up in their favorite characters from their favorite action and fantasy movies and TV shows. There are Q & A sessions with some of the stars and meet and greet photo sessions and tons of movie and TV show memorabilia that you can buy. And It’s a way to get personally signed autographed photos from your favorite actors like the “Arrow” series star, Manu Bennett from New Zealand, who hung out with us and helped celebrate Ronn’s birthday.

After Comic con, we went on to Amsterdam for a couple of days and had a productive meeting with a company that is interested in producing, “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” in Europe. I’m very excited about this collaboration because it will be with no salt, yet still have all the flavor of my recipe. As you guys remember, I introduced Cajun cooking to Belgium last year and I hope to bring more of that throughout Europe in the future. We also had a production meeting on Ronn’s upcoming European music tour this fall and on all the Ronn Moss merchandise that is coming, including a Ronn Moss fragrance. Later this month we will go to Belgium to smell it and finalize the packaging along with other Ronn Moss products for the tour and I will be posting all the tour dates for Belgium and The Netherlands on his website very soon!

When we come to Europe, we always try and spend some time in Rome, which is one of Ronn’s favorite cities and this visit we had dinner with Hollywood legend, Gina Lollobrigida before heading off to St. Moritz for a few days. Switzerland was a country I had never visited before and Ronn had the opportunity to meet some of St. Moritz’ most important people in charge of future events in St. Moritz that are interested in him hosting and participating in their annual winter season. Our friend, Gian Franco Tordi is a native from St. Moritz and has been trying to get us to come there for quite some time, so we spent a few nights at the fabulous Kulm Hotel filming a talk show and meeting with everyone. I got to experience the most amazing spa in the Kulm hotel and even did a periscope of going into the outdoor pool overlooking the picturesque snowy mountains.

After St. Moritz, we headed Milan for an appearance on the TV show, “Domenica Live” and then stopping into Florence before heading into the countryside of Tuscany for some quiet time with our friends Francesco and Isabella who are expecting their second baby in a couple of months. They have the most amazing villa that really gives you the flavor of what Tuscany is all about and they make amazing wine and olive oil on their property. If you guys are interested in experiencing their villa you can view it here. Our trip so far has been a fun one mixed in with a bit of business and a lot of pleasure. We still have some business meetings in the next couple of weeks in Belgium and Milan to attend and we plan to visit Venice before Easter.  So our European tour continues with many other things coming to share with you over the next year!

Many of you have been asking questions for months and feeling confused over the changes that have been happening with Ronn’s band Player. So I want to clarify some misconceptions and point out some facts because you as fans deserve to know the truth. As most of you know Player started in 1977 and Ronn is a founding member, they had the number one hit song, “Baby Come Back”  and as a result, toured with Eric Clapton, Heart, Boz Scaggs and Kenny Loggins. Then Peter Beckett’s ego clashed with the co-writer of “Baby Come Back” JC Crowley and Peter abandoned the band because he didn’t want to play with JC anymore. He decided to come back after a short time and regrouped with Ronn and original drummer John Friesen and did the album, “Room with a View” when they found another record company. After that album, the band experienced a slow down and didn’t get any tours, so Ronn decided to try his hand at acting, a suggestion their RSO manager, Robert Stigwood gave him. Peter again decided to regroup with just John Friesen during the time Ronn was away acting and this was the only album Ronn did not do called, “Spies of Life.”  This album also didn’t do much for Player and the group died shortly afterward in 1982.  JC Crowley went on to do country music and battled throat cancer, John Friesen became the owner of a video company, Ronn became Ridge Forrester and Peter was the guitarist in “Little River Band” for 9 years. So Player died and wasn’t thought of anymore.

Ronn & Peter Beckett

After a 13 year period of Player being completely dead, Ronn and Peter again regrouped in 1995 and began recording and performing as Player again. They produced “The Best of Player” and “Lost In Reality” album, as well as,  two solo albums for Ronn and Ronn toured Australia twice in the early part of 2000.  It seemed many people knew the song “Baby Come Back,” but did not know who did that song. Many fans thought Hall and Oates, or Ambrosia did that song, so having Player out there with social media and the Internet gave fans more awareness about them. Since Ronn was so popular on “The Bold and The Beautiful” this brought many fans to become aware of Player, and Ronn did International and national press to give fans first hand knowledge about the band and the song. This was something Player had not had in years. “Baby come Back” had been featured in a Swifter commercial, in the movie, “Transformers” and in a Toyota commercial in Australia. Ronn got royalties on all of these things because the song was his as much his as it was Peter’s.  Plus all the national and International  press Ronn was getting for the band garnered a lot of fans together to know the group that actually did that song.

I remembered when I first met Ronn in 2004 and I said to him, ‘You mean you did that song and no one knows you did that song?” Player at that time, had no presence online and Ronn complained he had no time to do music due to his schedule on B&B.  Peter Beckett was having marital problems and no longer touring with Little River Band. So I decided to put together jam parties as a excuse to have them get together and just have fun playing music. Some of our first jam parties included, Corey Feldman, Patrick Cassidy and Patrick Muldoon.  Patti Myers started out as a Peter Beckett fan who did a website for him and then one for Ronn and one for Player. She would find old Player videos and pics and put them on her site. Peter had no interest or time to learn anything about the web and so he allowed Patti to do everything for him. Then when a  Ronn Moss fan came along to do a site for him, Patti got jealous and I had to mediate between them to the point that Ronn asked me to do a site for him so that we wouldn’t go through this kind of nonsense. As the web started to change and social media became more and more necessary this proved to be a good thing. Ronn was a verified celebrity with a large fan base and we needed to make sure fans were indeed getting news directly from him and we wanted to make sure they got the facts straight.  So we have always been totally hands on regarding you our fans. I think you know this already by now. You know when you to you talk to us you are indeed talking directly to us and not some fan who may twist things around and hurt your brand. In this case, the brand of Player.

Since Peter insisted that he still needed Patti to do his website he asked if  we would keep letting her do the Player website and at the time that wasn’t a problem for us. Ronn even allowed her to sell photos of him and Peter on her site and not pay us anything to make her happy and give her a little money, something Peter never seemed to have, so that she would continue doing Peter’s site and social media.  I had my own site and Ronn’s site and then we started DevRonn with our spice in 2008, so my plate was indeed full. I love marketing and thought that Player was  very talented and could be brought back into the limelight with a bit of savvy work. Peter had gone through a divorce and was working at Guitar Center when he met Rob Math in 2008 who became Player’s guitarist. Ronn brought in the ultra talented Jawn Star and the four of them were now Player.  However, let’s be clear, Peter only viewed them as side men who would never actually be Player because he and Ronn were the originals.  Ronn did not treat them that way or view them that way. I have promoted Player here on this blog since 2009 in countless posts, as well as, articles in magazines. We thought it was such a talented foursome and their harmonies were what the baby boomers craved that we just didn’t hear live anymore. I knew if I loved it and could listen to it all day long, then you guys would love it also. We rehearsed them in our garage for years for the few gigs that they got during that time and I blogged about them continuously here. Peter lived rent free in one of our houses for about 6 months after his divorce where he wrote songs for their now, “Too Many Reasons” CD and I encouraged Ronn to find themselves a manager. I tried to get them on television by having friends I knew see them perform at home which led to “The Hollywood Christmas Parade” performance in 2010.

A buzz began around this time and they seemed to get a few more gigs in various places. Seems fans were especially curious to see Ronn perform in person. At every show, Ronn would give credit to Peter for writing ‘Baby Come Back” and tell the story of how he, JC and Peter auditioned live for Robert Stigwood to garner their record deal with RSO. They did it live because a tape could be put on the shelf. So Peter Beckett did not get a record deal all by himself, nor did a write “Baby Come Back” all by himself, it was the three of them collaborating which led to that moment and then Ronn brought in his child hood friend and drummer, John Friesen and Player was born.

Player Angels

When Patti Myers started to diminish Ronn on the Player website in favor of Peter, we knew we had some problems that weren’t going to go away. Peter depended on her and had no knowledge of social media, she did his tweets, postings as him and now Peter’s new wife Eden answered his emails. We needed to protect Ronn’s brand online and with social media and so we acquired the Playertheband.com domain. Ronn had it years before and that’s why Patti had Player-theband.com as her domain. I tried to keep up with all the changes online regarding Twitter, Instagram, Periscope etc and it was getting overwhelming, however I could see Player was indeed growing and so was Ronn.

Player

When Ronn left B&B he was free to tour with Peter and Player became a touring band again when their new manager got them a record deal with Frontier’s because they were based in Italy and Ronn is so popular there. And he got them on the “Sail Rock Tour” in 2013 with other notable acts like, Christopher Cross, Orleans and John Ford Coley. It was just Ronn and Peter touring and singing only three songs as it was not cost effective to have a 5 piece band of their tour and they were the original members. Fans seemed thrilled and this led to General Hospital contacting Ronn and asking if Player would sing “Baby Come Back” for their nurses ball show. This also led to us having them seen on our “Celebrity Wife Swap” episode on ABC and putting Player’s name on national television again. I wrote articles in magazines and marketed them on our social media and in press continuously for years. I even had them play a charity event I did at the Canyon Club for animal rescue to give Player another chance to be seen and heard.  Then Ronn was asked to tour in Australia again and they only wanted Ronn, but he insisted on bringing Player and the entire band so that they could experience a proper tour in late 2014. This was great for Player and that extensive 14 date tour was the most the entire band ever had. I thought it was odd that Peter was acting so strange during this tour and telling everyone he owned Player suddenly, which I didn’t know what that meant. Since I was live streaming way back then, I happened to get a strong enough signal one night to chat with you guys and Peter went off on me saying I wasn’t allowed to do that? This remark made no sense, since everyone had a cell phone and was doing it at the time. I told him he was ungrateful and was afraid that Ronn would be upset with me when I told him about the blowup with Peter.  Turns out nearly everyone had problems with Peter on this tour and we vowed never to try and bring Player overseas again. It seemed Peter was getting pissed and jealous of all the attention Ronn had with fans who lined up every night for photos with him. I thought this was odd given Peter had been overseas and toured with Ronn before, so he knew what to expect.  Nevertheless, this  tour led to more tour dates in the states with acts like “Little River Band” and “Ambrosia” for the “Rock the Yacht Tour” in 2015 which featured again only Ronn and Peter as Player. They had not been a touring band for a long time  and it was not cost effective to have the entire band tour the states like these other bands that had been touring for years. Player needed to work up and build up to that.

I watched the entire band sit on the sidelines after touring Australia as they watched only Ronn and Peter tour as Player for over a year. Then in early 2016, the entire band got a concert in Palm Springs for one show and I knew they were itching to do more. Ronn had expressed the desire to do some acoustic classic rock cover songs and Peter had no interest, nor did he have any interest in doing any charities, but the rest of the band did. I had a few contacts and managed to get them a couple of things locally just to play together as “Ronn Moss and Friends” and then Peter went nuts. He phoned Ronn and had lunch with him telling him he no longer wanted to play with the boys as Player and that there weren’t any gigs for them anyway, only for the two of them. So Peter sent a letter to the band telling them he no longer needed their service for Player. It was an underhanded move because we had just booked a big concert on a cruise for the following year called, “The Rock and Romance Cruise.” It was awesome because it was the first cruise to have nothing but acts from the 70s like “America” “Peter Frampton” and “Ambrosia.” We were excited to have the entire band go on that cruise, but it was a year away.

After only Ronn and Peter performed together as Player in the summer of 2016, we figured the entire band would regroup for the upcoming “Rock and Romance Cruise,” but Peter brought in a local guy, Buster Akrey who he claimed would be better than Jawn Star to rehearse for the upcoming cruise gig because he lived close to us all and Jawn lived two hours away. He said Burleigh Drummond would be playing in “Ambrosia” on the cruise anyway, so he was thrilled to play as Player’s drummer and he brought back Rob Math as guitarist. Ronn was very torn about this because the band with Jawn and Jimmy worked so well in Australia. Now they were going to have to train two new guys with all the music of Player and rehearsed for over a month for the cruise. Peter made it seem like it was only for this one gig because at the time that’s all Player as an entire band had. We got to know Buster and he seemed like a nice guy who just wanted to be in a band. I think Peter made him think that just to use him for his devious plan to push Ronn out of the band.  What we didn’t know was how underhanded and manipulative Peter was being this whole time. He wanted to ace out Jawn Star who had been with Player for 10 years because he was brought into the band by Ronn and he wanted to bring back Rob Math because he brought him into the band. He also wanted to start recording new Player music with other notable acts playing on the album, but without Ronn. He told Ronn about what he was doing, but never invited Ronn to play and acted like he was going to, but never did. Back in 2015, Eden approached Ronn and JC Crowley to join Peter on a lawsuit against Universal for back royalties as Player. During this lawsuit, they file a frivolous lawsuit against Keith Urban without our knowledge. It was embarrassing because Keith is actually friends with Ronn.  We found out when Peter made a statement that was even more embarrassing saying that Keith was only famous because he was married to Nicole Kidman. JC and Ronn never would have participated in this Universal lawsuit if we knew what we know now. This was a sneaky underhanded move to have us help pay for this lawyer that was going after back royalties for Player.

After the Rock and Romance cruise happened, Player performed at the Conejo Valley Days fair because Buster was in charge of that fair and then the same promoter from the cruise phoned Ronn about Player performing in Huntington Beach last summer, as well as, in Beverly Hills last September. Ronn was already booked for some solo projects in Belgium and told Peter to just do that one as Peter Beckett of Player along with a couple of other gigs that required just the two of them. There has never been many gigs for the entire band and Ronn and Peter only sang about three songs when touring as Player anyway. So it shouldn’t have been a big deal and Peter knew Ronn always had work in various countries in the past, so going away for Ronn wasn’t anything new for Peter. Most of the time in the past, Ronn would find a way to include Peter and bring him along even when he didn’t have to, but he stopped doing this after the Australian tour because there seemed to be jealousy brewing from Peter towards Ronn.  Peter was telling the band members that he owned Player and he wrote the songs and it was his band to the point that the boys were asking me it this was true. I found it odd that he was acting that way given he knew how vast Ronn’s fan base was and how loyal they were to Ronn. Also it was Ronn selling the tickets to this tour and he was who they wanted to see and it was Ronn doing all of the press. I also started to feel a weirdness from Eden and heard from fans that Patti was saying demeaning things about Ronn and me.  My gut instinct or intuition, which I trust wholeheartedly told me something was not right with them. I express this to Ronn and thought it was odd that I always got along with Peter and now he was constantly bitching and yelling to Ronn that I should have nothing to do with Player business. Suddenly, they seemed to be competing instead of collaborating with us online and I knew that meant Patti feeling powerful because she was speaking for Player and Peter.

Gradually, we would catch Patti diminishing Ronn in the Player site bio and changing facts about Player online to favor Peter. I noticed she did a reverbnation and bandsintown page for Player and Peter but not for Ronn. I started to notice how the fans were bombarding Ronn for autographs and selfies as Eden, who was now tour manager, merchandise girl and Peter’s wife collected money from merchandise with Ronn’s photo on them and yet the accounting was always a bit off because there were merchandise with Ronn’s photos on them that were sold like those guitar pics and yet Ronn didn’t get a dime of it. I started to get angry and I knew something was terribly wrong with this picture. At the time, I was fighting an ear infection and on my way to my aunt’s funeral and Ronn and I were always busy with many other things. So as I noticed this and felt strange I told Ronn my feelings and that we needed to make some changes regarding this.

Then as soon as we arrived in Belgium last summer we started having strange emails from Peter to Ronn regarding this so called sub bass player that was going to be used for only one gig since Ronn was away. Patti was posting flyers with this bass player on it as Player and it was confusing fans. I knew nothing of this and told Ronn he needed to discuss this with Peter because fans were confused. Peter assured him it was for one gig and he wasn’t trying to nudge him out of the band or anything, which looking back is very telling. Then his emails got very angry suddenly blaming me yet again for something I had nothing to do with regarding fans fighting online over that sub bass player. I seemed to be blamed for everything and yet I had hardly had anything to do with Player at that time and we were in Belgium.  Ultimatums were given to Ronn if he wanted to stay in the band and he was being treated like a hired musician rather than a partner, which is what he’s been to Peter for years. Ronn kept trying to get Peter to wait until we got home to discuss things face to face and he just seemed like he was looking for any excuse to to blame me and piss off Ronn.

It became obvious something more devious was going on and we noticed Patti was changing things online like the Facebook Player page that was always PlayerBeckettMoss to PeterBeckettPlayer. An online fight between Eden and our fanclub president Angelique occurred when Angelique caught Patti and Eden posting things sayings only Peter was Player and then taking down the posts. Eden threaten her when she posted she didn’t consider this a real Player concert without Ronn and that Ronn’s fans had the right to know he wasn’t there. Eden went on to say that Ronn knew and that and he was a sub bass player for Ronn and that she needed to take down her post or she would sue her. All this crazy drama was being sent to us and Ronn had told Peter this bass player and their postings would confuse fans to begin with and he was not comfortable with them doing this, but Peter said this guy was for only one gig and they couldn’t afford to not take a gig just because Ronn was away, so Ronn had no choice but to allow it.

After this gig, Peter sent the drama post between Angelique and Eden claiming I was behind this!  Assuming I must be telling fans what to say online like I have time to do this with Ronn’s vast fan base and they shouldn’t post their thoughts on fan pages?? They made such a big deal out of Angelique’s post and then Peter admitted he registered the Player trademark three years ago solely to himself and that he was calling the shots and that Ronn would not be touring anymore. I believe they were deliberately creating issues that were not there to make Ronn quit the band, when that didn’t happen, he was given ultimatums.

Patti has been constantly changing things online with Player’s wiki page and trying to just push Ronn out like he never existed. So we had no choice but to get an attorney and we have tried to amicably to talk to them face to face, but they refuse.  Peter then changed a gig that was advertised for months with just Ronn and Peter to just himself at the last minute and started telling promoters Ronn was no longer in Player and to book him for half the price. It really was disgusting to see such anger, greed and manipulation done to us after all the work we have put into trying to bring Player back for years, way before Eden was ever involved. Since we owned the domain playertheband.com from years ago, we decided we needed to activate that again because we had to protect Ronn’s  presence from being manipulated by Patti in favor of only Peter and put up a website after seeing her antics regarding Ronn online. This domain along with my playerangels.com  has enraged Peter and Eden who want total control of everything Player with no respect for Ronn and his contributions for years of rehearsals, tours and publicity, simply crazy and unbelievable that someone can be so demeaning and ungrateful, not to mention egotistical.

Suddenly, Player is only about Peter because he co-wrote  and sings lead on “Baby Come Back,  and “Ronn isn’t Player? If you look at Player’s original video for that song with over 48 million views so many comments refer to Ronn and his recognition as Ridge Forrester, which brought attention to Player, now Peter suddenly wants those fans to be gone and disregarded as true Player fans? Player performing on General Hospital was because of Ronn, not Peter and that national exposure helped the band. Ronn touring together with Peter for the past five years has helped bring Player back into the limelight. Peter was not touring as Player by himself and now he’s suddenly Player by himself because he registered the trademark secretly behind Ronn’s back? Why did he keep that a secret? Why are they telling fans Ronn left the band and now claiming we are lying? Why is Patti manipulating Player’s history online in favor of Peter? Why are they deleting fans speaking out? Trademarks are for consumers, the public, which means you the fans who buy the tickets to concerts and albums. Trademarks are not for a person solely to do as they wish with no regard for the buying public.

After so many years together, this has caused great confusion among Ronn’s fans and as always we tell you the truth of what’s happening with us. Sometimes we must endure challenges in life, but the truth always prevails and at the end of the day life goes on with other adventures that lead us to our destiny. Ronn will be just fine with or without Player and is having a blast doing “Ronn Moss and Friends.” It really is sad that a friend would do something like this to someone who has been nothing but giving and good. Since Trademark disputes are on a case by case basis, we must go this route because Ronn should have the right to regroup Player if Peter passed away tomorrow. He played on all these albums, toured and gave tons of publicity to this band and brand that is rightful also his and NOT solely Peter’s. It’s truly egotistical for Peter to believe it’s all about him. As one of Peter’s biggest fans I don’t care anymore to hear his voice and the passion I had for his music isn’t what it once was now. How can he stand to even look at himself in the mirror after a betrayal this low is beyond sad.  So I’m confident that truth, as always will prevail and all the fans that we have brought to Player over the years will stand up and voice their opinion loud and clearly in hopes that Mr. Beckett will start to understand what exactly he’s done and is continuing to do and why it’s not right. Trying to steal something that you know wasn’t created solely by you alone is wrong. Peter had no respect for JC Crowley and didn’t not inform him either of registering this trademark. If you really own something and really believe that why would you keep that a secret from the other founding members of the group? Why would you embark on a lawsuit with those original members and call them Player when you wanted their money and help to fight for your back royalties? But, claim them not to be Player suddenly because you see an interest now in the entire band and don’t want to share a stage anymore with your friend of 40 years, why??

http://soaps.sheknows.com/the-bold-and-the-beautiful/news/50637/ronn-moss-claims-being-pushed-out-of-player-by-bandmate?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=editorial&utm_content=1349808098

Suddenly, it’s your band instead of our band. Suddenly “Baby Come Back” is your song and Ronn’s bass riff had absolutely nothing to do with it? Personally, the harmonies of that song is what you remember most and what was played in the movie “Transformers” and in the “Swifer” commercial. Player was a group effort torn apart by ego, lies and manipulation for total control because of greed and jealousy. That’s the complete truth and pretty obvious to see.  Patti got extremely competitive with me online and at one point took down my Player Angels website I let her create for you guys to share pics and experiences from Player concerts.  We even made up cool sexy Player t-shirts with Patti’s website on the back to grow the Player Angels.  I tried to make everything a team effort. Eden was one of the first ones I gave a shirt to. Then to find out that Patti tried to steal my Player Angels domain and point it to Peter’s Limey Cowboy site was beyond baffling. When I addressed it and pointed it to Ronn’s site suddenly Eden and Patti hated Player Angels. They really believed they owned my domain because it had the word Player in it that’s how naive Peter was and is about the web. I guess he thinks he owns anything with the name Player in and will attempt to sue anyone using the word Player even in a sentence now.

Ronn and I fronted the band’s merchandise with those shirts and Peter paid nothing. Ronn and got most of the best gigs Player had gotten and the best publicity for the band, as well as, it’s only proper tour.  Seriously, do you think after all we have done to bring this dead band back that Ronn would just leave? Why was Peter suddenly so angry at Ronn and I over what exactly? We hardly saw them unless there was a gig anyway? And now they want you the fans to believe them and accept Peter only as Player because he wrote and sang their number one hit song and it’s all about him dammit! You crazy Ridge fans don’t care about music only Ronn who contributed nothing and means nothing. In fact, Eden once told a magazine that wrote Ronn was the lead singer of Player in Belgium that Ronn was Peter’s bass player. Actually, Ronn was Peter’s partner for many years over two decades  actually and they got along fine and never had issues before? And Ronn also sang lead on Player songs, as well as, his own solo songs that were from time to time included in former Player sets. They collaborated and didn’t compete and it was magical. What this all boils down to is pure greed, ego and an over inflated sense of entitlement with no respect for all that has been given to him over the years by Ronn.

I think this is very apparent to most people now based on his recent open letter trying to do damage control for lying to fans that he continues to exaggerate and lie. Ronn left Player numerous times? Really? We tried to sabotage their gig? I think the fans spoke out like they are doing in droves now and Eden didn’t like it and accused us of doing it, like I have time to tell each of you what your feelings are and what you should post? These lame excuses are just pitiful and very telling to how many lies they have told not only to you the fans, but to promoters and to colleagues in their devious attempt to steal something that is not theirs solely to begin with. And to say Ronn sang Player songs, he sang one song, “Baby Come Back,” which he has earned the right to sing forever! In fact, Peter does not own any of the publishing to that song, he sold all the rights to Universal music. Here is a copy of the original Trademark for the band as you an clearly see Ronn’s name is listed and Player is not a solo artist. I’m confident truth will prevail over blatant lies here. Player for the past few years has been mostly Ronn and Peter singing about three songs. If he was Player all by himself why was Ronn even there? Why keep the fact that he registered the trademark a secret? And what is this reference to camp DevRonn? All I ever did was promote the hell out of him and Player over the years.  It’s so pathetic this situation I almost feel sorry for him, but I don’t. He deserves exactly what’s coming to him for all the lies and deception to someone who has stood by him through thick and thin and that’s a fact. Ronn couldn’t have been a better friend or bandmate.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so I wanted to give you guys a little update on our recent adventures and upcoming plans. With all the anger and vile attacks that we have going on in our world, a little love these days is all most of us need. We personally never watch the news on television and try our best to be in gratitude each and every day for each other and all the wonderful positive things we have in our lives because it can surely change at any given moment. Taking the time to smile at a stranger or say kind words to those who may need to hear them can really make someone’s day. It’s the little things in life that make our world so special. We are so blessed to be able to share so much of what we experience with you guys and I promise I will be back with live streams soon.

Ronn and I had the great opportunity to see Clint Eastwood’s new movie, “15:17 To Paris” which was based on a true story of these three young men who saved countless lives on a train a couple of years ago, when a terrorist was on board shooting innocent people. The real heroes of that day played themselves in the film and we got to meet them. Spencer Stone was the brave young man that faced that terrorist head on, risking his own life and miraculously spared by what he attributed, the grace of God. It’s a movie everyone should check out. Clint seemed taken by little Prince and he was a big hit on the red carpet of the premiere.

We also got to share the amazing Gina Lollobrigida’s party celebrating her star on the Hollywood walk of fame at age 91. Gina is quite a talented woman who isn’t just an actress, but an amazing artist and sculptor. This little lady makes gigantic sculptures!  A lot of her work is already in museums around the world and we are very proud of our new friend. I only hope to be half as energetic as she is if I make it to 90. Ronn and I plan to spend a quiet Valentine’s Day at home, which we are enjoying as much as possible before we head back to Europe in the next couple of weeks. We are going to Fashion Week in Milan and will spend some time this trip in Tuscany, as well as, other parts of Italy both for business and pleasure. We will indeed be spending more time in Europe for various projects in different countries and for Ronn’s upcoming fall tour.

Most of you know I try to blog in a positive manner about the things we are doing in our lives, however we are going through a bit of drama with Ronn’s band PLAYER and his partner Peter Beckett now, and I will be blogging in depth on that subject soon. There has been a lot of confusion among fans concerning Ronn and the band and truth needs to be told. Ronn was lied to by Peter while we were in Europe about having a sub bass player for one concert and now he’s trying to literally steal PLAYER from Ronn and claims he is PLAYER all by himself, so we have no choice but to embark into a lawsuit against him after months of attempting to talk and being ignored. Sometimes life throws you curve balls to send you in other directions and we know that nothing lasts forever and change is something that makes life interesting. As always, I will speak more in depth on this later when I have more time. In the meantime, there are more Ronn Moss and Friends concerts to look forward to here in Los Angeles when we return from Europe. And Ronn is now working on a very interesting movie project that we will tell you more about as things develop. I will leave you guys with our book, “My Husband’s A Dog, My Wife’s A Bitch” which is a funny look at relationships. Just remember all we need is love and try and spread a little of what you have around this Valentine’s Day!

After being back in our seconda casa under the graciousness of Lavinia Biagiotti in Italy, it’s a little bit of an adjustment to come back home, especially with a sore throat and potential flu! However, I’m so very grateful for all the wonderful things that are already happening in this brand new shiny year! We had such an amazing last day in Rome visiting the the center of the city. When they say “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” that’s an understatement and so very true. There is simply too much history and art to see, it would take years to consume it all. So I think it’s safe to say we will indeed be back there again and again.

Our flight from Rome was very turbulent and at one point the lady next to me looked like she was going to have a nervous breakdown. Due to bad weather in Frankfurt, our flight was also delayed, so we barely made our connecting flight back to Los Angeles. However, our luggage didn’t make that flight and we just now received them finally!  I must say flying anywhere these days is just not as fun as it use to be and really rather exhausting. So being home feels wonderful right now. Even Prince is feeling this way, as I watch him run around with pure joy playing with his toys and being back in his familiar environment. I just adore that little guy and love it when he runs around making his happy sounds. We are also thrilled to see our kids and spend time cooking and watching movies together, which is what we love doing with them. We watched the musical version of “Beauty and the Beast” the other night, which I hadn’t seen before and it made me cry. And today we are excited to take the girls to see the cirque du soleil show, “Cavalia Odysseo”  tonight! The girls are so excited to see this amazing show and we are too! So I’m resting up all day and determined to get over this sore throat by tonight!  Ronn is kicking off the year with a “Ronn Moss and Friends” concert at our local hotspot, “Bogies” on Jan 28 and tickets are limited, as it’s a small venue. So we are hoping to see a lot of our friends there because this is sure to be a great concert with some awesome surprises! Ronn is performing with the amazing Jawn Star who also performed with him last month in Estonia. If you recall, Jawn also performed with Player for a long time. Speaking of Player, it also happens to be Player’s 40th anniversary for their #1 classic hit song, “Baby Come Back” which was co-written by original members Peter Beckett and JC Crowley back in 1977 and became number one for the first three weeks of 1978, so a very happy anniversary to them! 40 years is long time to be friends with someone and there can indeed be ups and downs from a relationship lasting that long. Many of you have been asking if Ronn has left Player and the answer is absolutely not. He has never left Player and there are a lot of inaccuracies regarding this that are being dealt with now. The truth will be revealed soon enough on these questions, but for now we want to keep positive on the many wonderful things that are indeed happening currently.

I can’t tell you guys everything that’s happening at the moment, but let’s just say it’s super awesome and you will surely love it all. There are so many creative things, it’s simply too much to deal with all at once; and for now we are just happy to be back home and looking forward to celebrating our blessings with our dear friends soon! We hope 2018 is off to a wonderful start for you all and I hope to get back to cooking and catching up live on Periscope soon, so please follow me there so you don’t miss them!

It seems like this past decade has been a struggle for most people we know all over the world. There has been major unrest, division and economic pitfalls that many of us have been constantly complaining of from all corners of the earth. However, all we can do is anticipate hope and change that each year will be better than the last. I’ve always been more of an optimist and believe in my heart that 2018 will bring about that hope that we have all been wanting for so long to finally become a reality. Personally, I’ve been seeing the changes in many of our friends, some of these changes have not been so good and some have been great. We all have our own life journey and life is for us to enjoy. That’s what Ronn and I vow to do each and every day moving forward, enjoy life! If you think about it, the simple things in life is what really brings us the most joy. Cuddling with your dog or cat, having wonderful meals with friends and spending quality time with loved ones.

It’s funny how the most simple things in life can warm your heart and create beautiful memories that we can cherish forever.  It seems the older we get the more simplified we want our lives to become. We revert back to being childlike in many ways both spiritually, mentally and physically even. Many of us are taking care of our parents now and watching the changes that happen with them in these areas. And many of us have lost loved ones who have made an impact on our lives. I can’t tell you how often I find myself forgetting what I thought was so important to say to Ronn in any given moment or how fast time seems to be passing by each year. This tells me that life is fleeting and we must stop and enjoy each and every moment it is offering us. Even the bad times are teaching us something and yet life is still so beautiful in spite of the pitfalls we may be enduring. Nothing is worth giving up a dear friend who has been a major part of your life or holding onto a grudge or anger. You are only hurting yourself in the end and hopefully by the end of your life you will only feel love and happiness, for that really is what life is all about.

Since we have been in Rome spending quality time with our dear friend, Lavinia Biagiotti, we have been speaking of these kinds of things alot. Lavinia lost her mother Laura earlier this year and is an only child, so spending quality time with loved ones is near and dear to her heart, especially now. We were happy to discover a fun art exhibition called, “Enjoy.” Ronn and I were coincidentally introduced to the world’s first 3D sound meditation, called “Synctuition” by a guy in Estonia. And I had been listening to the meditation program each night, which made me sleep so much better. It turned out that I had just listened to one track that kept saying the phrase, “Enjoy life.” I was sharing this at lunch with Lavinia when her uncle suggested we see this “Enjoy” art exhibition that basically had the same concept. The simple things are meant for us to enjoy, whether its the contagious sound of laughter, funny unpredictable moments that are big or small, or anything that makes us smile and feel the essence of being childlike again. We spend way too much time worrying over things we cannot change, or trying to control people who don’t want change. It’s time wasted and energy focused on things that don’t really matter, all we need to do is simply enjoy life!

So as we anticipate 2018, we will take this simple concept with us and try to make each moment count with joy and laughter. We hope to inspire you to do the same for life is way too short and there is nothing else more important. We plan to continue to follow our God given talents and move forward with positive people, love and anything that brings us more joy and happiness. We are finding the more we do this the more of this life brings us. So take the time to let go of all the struggles from the past and know there are brighter days ahead. Deal with the bad things one by one in knowing these things are only temporary and will soon pass and better days are waiting for you to enjoy. Take the time to focus and set goals on only what brings you joy and happiness and all else will fall into place eventually. Enjoy life!

I believe there are no such thing as coincidences and that everything happens for a reason. So it was at first strange to me that Ronn would do his first European concert in a place like Estonia. When the request came in months ago, I wasn’t really thrilled to go anywhere that was obviously very very cold during the month of December, but after visiting Estonia, I have become quite impressed with the people and their hospitality.  First of all many people may not know how tech savvy the Estonians are and that they developed Skype, among other notable things and that they are a very small country of only 1.3 million people. They have built themselves up from gaining their independence from Russia  26 years ago! And yes it’s quite cold there, but the people are very warm and welcoming.

We were immediately greeted by TV 3 at the airport for interviews and gifted yummy cupcakes that had the original B&B characters on them and we were told that two generations of Estonians learned the Finnish language due to watching Ronn on that show. It was obvious from our visit that Estonians grew up watching Ronn and he was truly loved there and like every country we visit, everyone wanted a photo. The concert was really beautiful and a lovely first experience for Ronn and the amazing Jawn Star as a result, we are happy to announce a European tour is now in the works for the fall of 2018.

Since we were so close to Finland and had some friends come by the boat ferry over to Estonia, we decided to travel back with them to celebrate their 100th year of Independence from Russia, which turned out to be quite an experience for us. It was beautiful to learn more of their history and see the pride they have for their country. Apparently, there is a movie called, “The Unknown Soldier” that is all about the Finns and how they gained their freedom against the odds from Russia.  Even though the Russians had over a million soldiers against the Finns with only over 200 thousand, they won their independence because they are a strong group of people who love and take a lot of pride in their country. We had visited Finland back in 2013 when Ronn did a commercial there and it was also obvious that they all loved and adored Ronn, so going back to celebrate this milestone was really special for us.

Now when I think of the Baltic region of Europe, I will have fond memories of our visit and look forward to returning for Ronn’s European tour later next year. It was wonderful to see our friend Henri Alen who has opened two new restaurants, “Sue Ellen” and “Finnjavel.” Some of you may remember that we guested on his cooking show, “American Food Battle” in which he challenged me in cooking gumbo. Seems southern cooking is what inspired him to create unique dishes for his restaurant, “Sue Ellen” and yes the name was inspired by that TV show, “Dallas.”  We had wonderful crab biscuits, pickeled  okra, fried green tomatoes and champagne to toast their 100th year of independence. “Finnjavel” which Henri told us means, “Finnish Bastard” a nickname the Swedish gave them was quite a different experience in dining. We had 7 course of typical Finnish inspired dishes with Henri’s signature twist of artistic flare that included, Reindeer! Even Prince enjoyed Reindeer which tasted very much like beef and loves chef Henri’s cooking! Thank you Estonia and Finland for making us feel so welcome, we look forward to our next visit!

It’s been a while since we have visited Italy due to so many other obligations over the past few years, so it feels great to be back at our seconda casa. Ronn and Italy have had a love affair that has expanded over three decades. He did his first movie in Italy and they fell in love with him from “The Bold and The Beautiful,” which led to his dancing appearances on “Ballando Con Le Stelle” in 2009/2010. Now we are hoping to make some Ronn Moss concerts happen so Italy can see Ronn sing live in the future. In the meantime, it seems most Italians have missed seeing him and it’s become impossible to walk around Rome without constantly being stopped for photos. Rome has been one of the cities we have visited the most often and it always feels great to come back, like a second home.

While Ronn has been preparing for his live concert on the 5th of December in Estonia, he was invited to do a Christmas commercial for the Italian department store chain, “Acqua and Sapone.” So we decided to spend the Christmas holiday season with our dear friend, Lavinia Biagiotti who lost her mother designer, Laura Biagiotti earlier this year. Lavinia and Laura have been our Italian family for the past decade and we always stay at the Biagiotti castle outside of Rome as much as possible when visiting Rome. So it seemed fitting to spend this Christmas with Lavinia because we all felt so sad over the death of our beloved Laura.

Due to other promotional obligations, we are also traveling to Belgium to introduce the video and song for the children’s charity project that Ronn has launched with Belgium star, Chris Van Tongelen and German star, Melanie Wiegmann later this month. This is a terrific charity song that we are hoping to expand out to other countries to join in the quest to raise money for various children charities because children are our hope for a better tomorrow. We are planning to visit Finland for a couple of days after Estonia, since we are so close and celebrate their 100th independence day with them and there a few other surprises in the works that I will tell you about with they are more finalized.

It’s hard to believe that 2017 is almost over and another year is just ahead. Time is passing us by so fast and we must be grateful for each and every moment of happiness that we have. There have been so many losses this year of beloved loved ones and so many turbulent things happening in our world today that many of us have endured. So we are hoping and wishing for a more peaceful and loving solution to many of these issues as we embark on 2018. Sending you all lots of love and blessings for this holiday season from our family to yours!

Playboy has been a huge part of my life for nearly 37 years thanks to Playboy photographer David Chan, who discovered me when I was attending LSU, back in 1981. David and I shared a bond and he became the dad I never had growing up in and out of foster homes. Since he never married and never had children, I became his only daughter. He gave me away when I got married for the first time in 1989 and was my mentor and advisor on all major decisions in my life. I trusted and valued him so much. His Chinese heritage became part of me and our Chinese dinners were so special for us. David introduced me to new foods that I had never tried like his favorite, “Peking Duck.” David was a Playboy photographer for over 30 years and was from Vancouver, Canada. I remember David inviting me to meet his entire family one magical Christmas shortly after I became Miss June 1985. I met David’s four brothers and sisters and found out he was right smack in the middle. All of his siblings children and their children were there that Christmas and they all welcomed me into the Chan family with open arms.

It became a running joke around the Playboy offices in Chicago that David’s 90 year old mother never knew he was a famous Playboy photographer nor did anyone ever know his real age not even me! David was a consummate professional who was highly respected in his craft and was graciously polite and humble. I wanted very much to make him proud of me and worked hard to gain his upmost respect and trust. He taught me so many things about business and about life in general. So it was very heartbreaking to learn of his death while we were in Europe and it was just two weeks after Hef passed. I had told Ronn I felt that Hef would pass while we were in Europe and have been trusting my intuition more than ever before. I just felt Hef’s body was failing him and that he had lost his will to live in it, especially after his only brother Keith passed away a couple years ago. It was very sad to watch and we all knew it was coming, but you are really never prepared for it.

Many of the regular movie night friends were commenting on how much and how fast things have been changing around Playboy. The parties were starting to decline and Hef’s appearances at the dining room table became less frequent. They finally put in that elevator to make it easier on him to come downstairs, but you could see he was becoming more and more frail and the guests at the mansion were becoming very sparse in number. Many regular movie night guests were eventually called and told they could no longer come up, but would continue to be invited guests at any Playboy party. It was the beginning of an end of era and this was no ordinary era. This was an era in which Playboy became one of the biggest brands in American history for the past 64 years. Hef, Playboy and the bunny became American symbols that represented the sexual revolution from a repressed puritanical decade; and Hef was a visionary who saw a need for young adult men to have their first lifestyle magazine.  Hef became a world recognized brand with his Playboy clubs, magazine, Big bunny jet and legendary Playboy parties. Hef also was an honest, loyal and happy person. These words resonated with who and what he stood for in every aspect of his life. They also resonated with his longtime loyal employees, children, friends, girlfriends, wives and the Playmates themselves.  We were truly a family and they were the family I never had growing up.

Some of the best times in my life has been with my Playboy family. From the annual Easter egg hunts, to the magnificent fourth of July fireworks and the incredible Midnight Summer Dreams parties that were unmatched by any party I’ve ever been to in life, will now never been seen again by the lucky ones who had those unique experiences thanks to Hef. He dreamed big and manifested his dreams in ways he couldn’t even imagine and he was generous enough to share that dream with us. I was one of the lucky women that got picked by Hef to become a Playmate and that is something I am very proud of. Being a part of the Playboy empire will truly be one of the greatest decisions in my life. I believe Hef’s life will ultimately be studied for decades to come. Hef has documented every single day of his incredible life with scrapbooks and videoed almost every single moment of those legendary parties. As new generations learn more about our American Playboy, they will be surprised at how much he changed our country’s laws, how much he fought for civil rights, how much he gave to restore our classic films and how much opportunity he gave to artists, writers, illustrators and women.

There is way more to Playboy than the beautiful women that graced that magazine and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. David Chan saw something in me as a shy teenager from Baton Rouge, Louisiana even before I had the confidence to see it in myself. He was part of that American history and had the same values as Hef regarding honesty, loyalty and happiness. These are words Cooper Hefner said summed up his dad. Cooper told a story of he and his brother Marston cheating at the annual Easter egg hunt, which disappointed Hef greatly. He said, as little boys he remembered his dad saying that what disappointed him the most was that they were dishonest. Many people over the years have tried to bring the Playboy empire down, even the federal government. Anyone who has seen Amazon’s series, “An American Playboy” knows that Hef was arrested in Playboy’s 10th anniversary year for publishing still photos of a Jayne Mansfield film, which included a man in the photo. Seems the federal government thought that was indecent and arrested Hef, who stood before a trial and jury on what was considered indecent. Hef prevailed against religious leaders bashing him, along with the controversy that came with each decade, as America grew and changed along with the times. Other men’s magazines came to compete, but none had the class, intelligence and prestige of Playboy.

Hef embodied the lifestyle and became the symbol of it himself. Everyone who has ever met him or wanted to meet him would surely come away in awe of his lifestyle. Hef was quoted as saying, “In all my wildest dreams I could not have imagined a sweeter life.” He also was quoted as saying, “Life is too short to live someone elses dream.” Hef not only manifested his dream, but shared it with so many of us and loved every minute of his amazing life. David Chan also manifested his dream of becoming a great photographer and was loved and adored by his family and friends. David also outlived all of his brothers and sisters making his the last of his generation to pass. I was one of the few people who knew the greatness of David for he was a very private and humble person. I was also the one his family chose to release his ashes into the waters that bordered Canada and the USA; because David also loved the USA and called Chicago home for a large portion of his life. He even had a license plate that read, “LOVE USA” that was on his 1962 convertible Thunderbird.

I wrote about all of my Playboy experience in my memoir, “The Day It Snowed In April” and I’m so happy I have that book as a reminder of the incredible journey I have had with Playboy. I feel blessed to have shared most of my life with my Playboy family and to be part of American history that surely will be studied for future decades. Maybe I manifested myself into Hef’s and David’s dream or maybe I was just lucky enough to be manifested by them? All I know is that this was one hell of a dream to be included in and I didn’t ever want to wake up from it. However, all parties much come to an end, but that doesn’t mean new parties cannot begin? As Hef and David were always ones to instill the importance of laughter and joy in others. They both had lives that were well lived and I finally learned how old David really was, which was 88. So I guess he and Hef are having some party of their own up in the great unknown right now? I can’t imagine it being better than the ones we enjoyed down here, but one thing I’m sure of is that they are laughing and having fun! I’m at peace now knowing that they are at peace in their final resting places and I’m a better person for knowing them both.

It’s been difficult to find the time to blog these past few weeks. Ronn and I have been on the go, meaning living out of our suitcases from the vineyards of Bordeaux to Rotterdam and some stops like Paris and Gent in between. It’s been an awesome experience of fun changes in culture, food and people. We have met some people we can see will indeed become lifelong new friends. Our past few months in Europe has been one of the best experiences of our lives! It’s been a priceless, educational look at what we want for our future and we are thinking seriously of splitting our time between Europe and LA. This has always been a dream of mine and I feel more European anyway. Maybe it’s growing up in Louisiana, but I can see and feel the influence of the European culture on me, especially when it comes to food and wine. And Belgium is just so centrally located to traveling anywhere within Europe that we have decided to make it our hub. We have especially fallen in love with beautiful Gent and I was thrilled to make the first remote overseas happen for  “The Bay”in Gent! We filmed two days of season 4 at the gorgeous 1989 The Post hotel that is located on the canal in the center of Gent. However, I became really ill during the first day of “The Bay” shoot and was throwing up so badly that I thought I had food poisoning from eating too many raw oysters in Rotterdam. This stomach bug lasted nearly a week for me making it difficult for me to enjoy the food and wine we were having in Bordeaux on our first day there, but now  I’m finally feeling better and looking forward to getting back home to America and to our friends and family in time for Thanksgiving.

Since we have been here the past few months, we have also witnessed the most horrific crisis’ America has ever faced. Two unbelievable devastating hurricanes that made the state of Florida and Texas declared two of the worst natural disasters ever in our lifetime! Then came the death of our beloved Hugh Hefner and the iconic, Tom Petty which really shocked us all and the horrific shootings in Las Vegas. Hearing of these tragic events made us very sad, but it also made us even more grateful for all of the wonderful, positive new experiences, friendships and new creative ventures that have been forming. Our ever expanding universe is just filled with surprises along your given path in life. It’s important for you to pay attention and be inspired more than be in comparison to others. It often leads you on the right path with pots of gold at the end. Priceless, beautiful gifts that come around once in a lifetime,  that are one of a kind or too magnificent to put into mere words have been some of the things we have experienced over these past few months.

We have had the unique opportunity to be completely present in the beauty of Belgium and have had the time to get to know this country from living in Antwerp, De Haan and Brugge. It’s been so nice to stay put in one place and experience all that it has to offer in the way of food, culture and their way of life. I just love how Europe in general really takes pride and put good nutritious food as a priority in their lives. Restaurants are always filled with lots of lively people enjoying great memories they are sharing with others over food and wine on a daily basis. Ronn and I got to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary in one of my favorite places, Bordeaux. We even re-connected with the owner of a chateau we stayed at the last time we were in Bordeaux, which was 8 years ago just before we got married. So our short time spent again with these people was a beautiful experience. Our friend is the most passionate person I’ve ever met about wines, especially Bordeaux wines! He knows practically all of the wineries and their owners and publishes the local newsletter on the “Bordeaux Experience.” We were invited to Bordeaux by new friends who came to Ronn’s show in Blankenberge over the summer. It turns out that our new Bordeaux friends are actually from Belgium and also have a gorgeous winery in Bordeaux, so I guess you could say it was meant to be that we celebrate our anniversary there.

Paris is one of my favorite cities and a city you could never see enough of or experience all that it has to offer. We only had a day to see something Ronn and I hadn’t seen yet and it was recommended that we see the top of “Montimartre” to see the view of the city. It happened to be a beautiful sunny day and we got a good amount of exercise climbing those stairs to reach the top of Montimartre. When we reached the top there were a trio of men singing that became infectious enough to make Ronn join in with them. This was not something I’ve not seen him do before. There was an outdoor food and wine tasting going on and we hung out walking around and tasting a variety of scrumptious foods and wines before catching our train back to Antwerp.  This was a week excursion to France that also made us appreciate being back in Belgium because most people speak English, although being in France made us want to learn French because it’s such a beautiful language to listen to in any capacity.

We are now counting down the days before we will return home to the states and Ronn is doing a few more shows of “Brasschaatste Huisvrouwen” with the final shows in Brugge next week. They have been getting standing ovations for their performances like the one last week in Gent. It’s beautiful to see how much Belgium loves Ronn and appreciates his musical and acting talents. I’ve also witnessed the same love during our short visit to France. Seems like everyone wants a photo with him for their mothers, grandmothers and themselves.  Ronn is looking forward to coming back for some really cool new projects in the way of music, merchandising, hosting and acting in the near future. He is also excited about the upcoming concerts in December that will be in Spain, Estonia, and Latvia. We will also visit beautiful Vienna in December and may be adding in a few more surprises for DevRonn fans along the way like the upcoming DevRonn party this coming weekend. I will be cooking my gumbo for a select group at the Van de Valk Hotel in Gent on Oct 22nd. We also have some interest in our Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning and Ronn’s BBQ Sauce recipes being developed in Belgium for distribution in Europe. So I guess I’ll be cooking a bit more in Europe in the future which makes me happy!

Witnessing the devastating losses from the recent natural disasters, mass shootings and wildfires over just the past four months has also shown us how precious, fragile and brief life itself really is. It’s important to surround ourselves with those who lift us up, enlighten and understand that standing together is way more empowering that standing alone. There is power in numbers for those of us that want a common positive goal. So we always try to find a way to give back, have fun and enjoy the life we have been so blessed to have.

Watching all the crazy weather and politics from Europe has been rather surreal lately. It almost doesn’t seem like reality at all, but is indeed very very real and has had an impact on some dear friends of ours in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean. Growing up in Louisiana I’ve had my fair share of hurricanes and tornadoes, but nothing of this magnitude. One of my dearest friends just completed renovations of her house only to see it destroyed by Harvey. Most of my cousins live in Houston and thank God have been safe. Changes in weather patterns have been happening all over the world lately. In Belgium there has been more rain than sunshine this summer. Although, we don’t mind the rain due to our constant sunshine in LA, the locals have been complaining about not really having their normal summer weather. So carrying an umbrella almost daily has been a must for us!

All these changes and challenges is what makes life interesting, how boring would it be if everything would always stay the same? Like the weather, life has a way of changing and challenging you to go further with possibilities to find your destiny.  Part of the reason that Ronn took the challenge of doing an original play that was written with him in mind was to challenge himself as an actor and performer. It was also a change for us to come and stay in another country for an extended period of time. And these past couple of months have indeed been an awesome experience of a lifetime. However, looking afar at our beloved home, our country being ravished by devastating weather and turmoil has not been pleasant. It breaks my heart being from the deep south of Louisiana to see its neighbors Texas and now Florida being pounded by massive destruction from these hurricanes. Looking at it from afar and experiencing Belgium weather is really quite lovely indeed for us, I mean how the hell can we possibly complain about a little rainshower when we can enjoy riding our bikes throughout this gorgeous environment we have are now becoming accustom to here in Antwerp.

Ronn and the cast of Brasschaate Huisvrouwen have been getting standing ovations for their performances with every performance becoming better than the last. I think it’s safe to say this new challenge for Ronn has been quite a unique hit! Now we are feeling out more wonderful unique opportunities by following our God given talents and desires. You all know how much I love cooking, especially Cajun food, so now it’s been presented a possibility to be the celebrity chef of the evening at a gorgeous restaurant in Antwerp and introduce Gumbo to Belgium with Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning, how can I say no to that? And on top of this we will have a real DevRonn kickass party before we leave to go back home in late October that you guys can join in on, so this is really something we are looking forward to now! There will now be more details about this in Primo Magazine coming soon!

These new changes and challenges that we have been experiencing in Belgium has shown us that we can truly be happy anywhere as long as you are following your heart. There is even a hit song by the fabulous Martine, who has been stealing the show with every performance in Brasschaate Huisvrouwen, as Renske and coincidentally it is called, “Follow Your Heart.” I find myself loving the quiet mornings I get to spend with hubby who still makes my coffee and breakfast every morning while I listen to Prince make his happy little sounds playing with his various toys while I write or plan out surprises for you guys! It makes us happy to hop on our bikes and ride around discovering new and interesting people from Belgium and it is a welcome change in our lives that is bringing us new challenges along the way. It feels so exciting to embrace change for me, I absolutely love changes and challenges! This is how you grown as a human being and much of life’s challenges is what inspires me to write. I will start working on the follow up book to “True Age, Timeless Beauty,” which was about getting life in balance and manifesting your destiny. “True Wisdom, Timeless Spirit” will be about keeping life in balance and maintaining your destiny. I use examples from my own life and the things I’ve learned to share and hopefully inspire you to have the life you deserve! This is the challenge I so desire to do for our world, to live my life as an example with the goal to only share and inspire others through kindness and love. We must stop the hatred and the negativity toward mankind and start being that pebble in a pond that spreads out only love, gratitude and positive desire instead of hate, revenge and negativity.

Our world is in enough turmoil from living in fear, feeling insecure and not having enough or being enough. Mother nature is coughing up all the debris that has littered her by the greed and selfish desire for mankind to control instead of share and love his fellow man. Ronn and I have been seeing history repeat itself watching the series, “Rome” and “The Tudors” recently. You know how much we love “Game of Thrones” which is fiction, but these series were based on history and shows that man hasn’t evolved much over the past few centuries. When will we realize that we are all one and we must not destroy our earth who feeds us? When will be stop polluting our waters which provide life itself, as we are made up of 70% water? When will be realize that hurting others only hurt ourselves? The quest for power, control with no gratitude is a lonely way to live. It is only through love, giving and gratitude that you can truly see and feel happiness and these are the tools that makes you get through any change or challenge that life may throw at you!

Mere words cannot describe our experiences here in Belgium over the past couple of months. We have made lifelong friends and created new and challenging experiences that will last a lifetime! When Ronn agreed to do the variety show, “The Bolle en de Beautiful” he did not know exactly what to expect, since he had never done a live variety show that included comedy and music? Now that it’s almost over with almost 20 live shows under his belt, the experience has been overwhelmingly positive and beautiful to say the least. A filled house of men and women, young and old loving every minute of this amazing cast of talented performers has been a memory we will never ever forget. And we have totally fallen in love with the tiny country of Belgium!

Belgium has beautiful polite people who mostly speak English, as well as, French and German. They are very proud of their wide variety of beers, chocolate and great food and it was Belgium that was the creator of “French Fries” not the  French as most believe because they are call “French Fries.” There is great history in Belgium for being surrounded by much larger countries such as, France, Germany, Holland and England. These bigger countries have all tried to invade this tiny little country and have not prevailed for a reason, because Belgium people are very strong, kind and brave.  As small as they are, they have endured two world wars and have learned to keep their tiny little country theirs, so that says alot about them in my opinion.

The cast of the “The Bolle en de Beautiful” were a small cast of tremendous talent and Ronn has been proud to be a part of such a show. He is now excited to embark on the original theatrical play, “Brasschaatse Huisvrouwen” in a couple of weeks and as usual, has pushed himself to combined endless play rehearsals in conjunction with his performances on “The Bolle en de Beautiful,” which has gotten rave 5 start reviews and has filled the house for every performance! The Belgian people have shown their love and admiration for Ronn and he is most grateful for this opportunity to try new and different creative things at this point in his life. I too am very proud of my husband for taking chances and stretching himself as an artist. He has proven he can do anything he sets his mind to and do it well.

Although we have been busy with Ronn’s play rehearsals and performances, we have taken the time to get some exercise and ride our bikes to the beautiful Brugge, which is called the “Venice of the North.” We are looking forward to our move next week to Antwerp where the play, ‘Brasschaatse Huisvrouwen” will be seen starting on the 8th of September. We are also looking forward to visiting the beautiful city of Gent and going to the horse races next week. The weather has been very pleasant for us because we don’t usually get to see much rain in southern California, so the occasional rain showers or thunder storms has not bothered us in the least. We are looking forward to seeing the colorful fall leaves before we leave in late October.

In the meantime, I have a weekly column in Primo magazine called, “Ronn and Me” for you guys to keep up on past experiences we have had in cities like, De Haan and Brugge since we have been here the past couple of months. We are only half way through our 4 month experience of Belgium and look forward to sharing much much more with you guys. Mr. Prince has been enjoying himself as well with lots of yummy treats from so many wonderful fans, as well as, his various toys he is now collecting. Ronn and I have been so touched by numerous fans bringing us a variety of chocolates, cookies, clothing, cologne and cards telling us how much we mean to them. Well we just want to let you know how much that has touched our hearts and how blessed we feel to have shared this amazing time with all of you!

Please follow us on Instagram for more photos @ronnmoss @devindevasquez @mrprince1999 and be sure to drop us a line on our websites www.devindevasquez.com www.ronnmoss.com and let us know your thoughts. We love hearing from you guys!

It’s been nearly three weeks since we arrived in Europe for Ronn’s performances in Belgium. The first week was rather hectic adjusting to the time change, jet lag and the rehearsals for the premiere VIP performance of the variety show, “The Bolle en de Beautiful” which is already a big hit in Blankenberge. Since this was our first time in this part of Belgium, we found the beaches of Blankenberge were gorgeous. There is a boardwalk of great restaurants and shops near the theater where the weekend performances will be held all summer. And the food in Belgium is amazing, especially the mussels and seafood!

We also explored a bit of the gorgeous town of Brugge, which has picturesque canals throughout the village. We stopped in Antwerp for lunch on our way to Amsterdam and look forward to seeing more of both these cities when Ronn starts the run of the play, “Brasschaatse Huisvrouwen” which is a comedy this fall.  So far our stay in Belgium is turning out to be quite fun and we look forward to bike rides along the beach and throughout the beautiful little town of De Haan.

After that first week of the VIP performances, we learned to our surprise that we had a two week vacation before the actual run of the variety show would start and decided to visit beautiful Amsterdam by car, compliments of Peugeot! So Ronn got to experience driving for the first time in Europe. We were invited to be on the RTL Amsterdam show, “Boulevard” and met up with our DevRonn fanclub members for a drink before that show. Coincidentally, we found that we were staying with dear friends in Breulelen, which is a beautiful little village a half hour outside of Amsterdam. Turns out it’s also the hometown of our very own DevRonn fanclub president, Angelique de Vries!

Ronn is getting so fond of driving the Peugeot that he wanted to take the 8 hour plus drive to visit our dear friend and pop  German artist known for the beautiful bubblegum art of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, Michael Moebius. We have never really seen Germany and wanted to visit Dresden, so this has become quite an adventure so far! Ronn has been driving very fast because there is no speed limit restrictions in some areas the route here in Germany!

Ronn has upcoming TV shows and appearances in Italy and possibly, St. Tropez, Nice and Amsterdam to look forward to before we leave Europe in late October. Right now, we are enjoying spending some quality time in Dresden and have been staying in the beautiful “Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski” compliments of Michael Moebius. This place is truly amazing and so elegant.

We and Mr. Prince have been enjoying some amazing dinners and made the cover of Primo magazine for Belgium. Seems the magazine editors have been so impressed with our adventures that I have been offered my own weekly column about Ronn and Me while we are here in Europe. So I will surely keep you guys informed up to date on our upcoming adventures with the one and only Mr. Prince also.

We have been in Belgium for a week now and have finally adjusted from the jet lag as Ronn rehearsed for his preview performances of the live musical comedy variety show “De Bolle en de Beautiful,” which we are excited about. Tomorrow is the first of 3 private performance for press and VIP people over the next three days. The actual  performances start on July 22nd in beautiful Blankenberg. In the meantime, DevRonn has an a two week European vacation and will visit friends in Germany, Amsterdam, Paris and Italy! Of course I will be livestreaming and taking you guys with us through our adventure over the next four months that we are based in Belgium. It’s been such a blissful and relaxing time thus far in Belgium. We have already visited the beautiful city of Brugge which is minutes way from the beaches of Blankenberg and plan to go back many more times to take in the gorgeous canals and beauty of its uniqueness. So for now I am feeling blissful in Belgium and will keep sharing more pics and videos, as well as,  social media and here on our blog throughout our summer as we will continue exploring more cities like Antwerp and Gent. Fans of all ages have been wanting to take photos with Ronn as we walk around the town of DeHaan and what’s aweome about Belgium is that most people speak English, as well as, Dutch, French and German depending on where they live. Everyone is so polite and the food is awesome!

Mr Prince is having a ball eating great filet steaks and french fries and he even got to see the New Power Generation perform  in concert and met up with Andre Cymone backstage. He also seems to be enjoying his daddy’s rehearsals and the stage director and crew think he’s a cool dude just like his daddy!

I think my hubby is having is having a great time doing this show and being able to stay for a while in one place! Ronn has some TV appearances and more musical concert surprises coming up this fall that I will be taking you guys to so stay tune and keep following because the best is yet to come!! Wishing everyone back home a great 4th of July!!

Death and grief is something we all must deal with during our lifetime. As we get older, death and grief from losing our loved ones become more and more prevalent in our lives. It seems we are attending more memorials than weddings and grief and depression start to set into our psyche telling us soon death will also come to us. These past couple of weeks, I have experienced a few deaths and grief and depression have been setting into the core of my psyche showing itself more prominently in my life.

We had to put down our beloved family dog after adopting her over a decade ago. Watching her quality of life disappear over the past year has been difficult to witness and making the decision to end her life wasn’t easy for any of us. This was a first experience for me and to see the vet euthanize her to sleep was heartbreaking. I felt I was going to have to be strong for our daughters and my husband who she favored the most loving with, but during the ordeal, it was me who cried the hardest. Her life was so brief and in an instant her life was gone and cremated to dust in a beautiful box with her paw print for us to remember her by. I started feeling depressed thinking of how fragile life truly is and how each and every single day is a beautiful gift we get to experience as we watch another sunrise, rainfall or sunset.

Gauthier, Robert –– – (Los Angeles, Ca. – Tuesday, December 16, 2008) Devin Devasquez arrives early to the funeral for her close friend, Bettie Page, at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park. Page, world famous pinup model from the 1950’s and 60’s died at 85 earlier this week. Dozens of friends, colleagues and fans, including Reverend Robert Schuller and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner attended the service.

After losing our dog, we were shocked to learn of the death of a beloved friend and renowned fashion designer, Laura Biagiotti. It was so sudden and so shocking to lose someone as near and dear to my heart as my own mother and at the age of 73, which seemed far too young to die. I knew our dear Laura had heart issues and had some close calls in the past, but hearing of her death made me feel completely depressed and sad for days. I didn’t feel like talking to anyone and cried helplessly knowing that that I would never get to see her again. Time to reflect on that relationship we shared was consuming me as my thoughts were only on Laura. Only two days passed before another shocking death of another close dear friend became bad news. We had only seen just seen him looking dashing and happy a week prior at the LA Science center giving back to charities that were near and dear to his heart. The loss of one of my closest friend’s husband, one who I indirectly put together to begin with has just passed away at age 67 only a couple years older than my own husband! OMG!! They say these things do come in threes, but I just can’t handle any more grief in such a short period of time! It’s just too much to deal with  and I start sobbing uncontrollably. Bob Lorsch was a prominent businessman who had connections from Hollywood to the white house.

It can’t be true? Bob Lorsch dead? Must be a mistake, we were just with him, just saw him laughing and having a great time! But the fact remained Bob Lorsch was indeed dead and died just a couple days after our beloved Laura Biagiotti. Facing death and grief for me was in full swing and it was making me sick so sick that I actually started having cold symptoms. This surprised me because I just recently got over a horrible bout of the flu that lasted nearly a month! I’m always eating healthy and trying to take care of myself by keeping life in balance within my mind, body and spirit. I feel it’s the key to handling all that life throws at us. So I try and take the time and focus energy into my home, health, career, relationships and finances on a daily basis. So when my focus turned to my own health given I had a sore throat in the throws of 80 degree sunshine with stuffed up ears, a headache and chills that turned into a cough, it was apparent I had another full blown cold to deal with. Perhaps my immune system was worn down from the past week of grieving? All I knew was that I needed to get back in balance in the health department first and foremost. I started my Thinessence routine of the helix machine, sauna and massage bed to sweat out the toxins plaguing my body. I also started to consciously drink my water quota that would help hydrate my body and get rid of this cold. Doing this routine 3 days this past week has helped tremendously and I’m finally starting to step out of the depressed state of mind I was in from grief. Thinking the storm of bad news was over only to learn my 90 year old aunt has just passed away leaving my 92 year old uncle after 70 years of marriage. She had lived life to the fullest and raised 8 children and a slew of grandchildren and passed on a legacy of love and commitment to all that knew her.

I knew it was time for me to book a flight to Houston and go visit my uncle who is my mother’s oldest brother and one of the last living relatives I have other than a mess of cousins I don’t really know. I can see how fast life is passing us all by and how precious human connection is in today’s fragile society. Death is just as much a part of life as life itself and it is indeed coming for us all someday, but it’s not here for me today and I’m grateful to see another sunrise. I know that gratitude is the key and that I have so many blessings on a daily basis to relish. Friends, family and even our furry animals are all part of this journey called life and so far life has been bountiful and simply amazing! I’m blessed for all the moments I had with Laura and Bob, my aunt and our dog and I know that the adventure of life continues with times of grief and sorrow and so we must be in gratitude for the joys and laughter because they too are coming in this cycle called life. The song Ronn just released with Pope Francis called, “Our Father” has a special meaning for these beautiful souls that have departed us here on earth and who we hope to someday see again in heaven.

Summer is practically here and that usually means lots of fun concerts for Player. The past few summers they have been touring around the United States with the Yacht Rock Revue boys,  Little River Band, Ambrosia, Orleans, Christopher Cross and Firefall just to name a few of those classic smooth rock bands we all know and love so much! However this summer we will be doing Ronn Moss solo concerts in Belgium, so the last Player concert for the summer of 2017 will be at the beautiful Library Theater in Huntington Beach. So if you haven’t seen these badass boys in concert live you are so missing out! This is your last chance in southern California to get to see them up close and personal and meet them after the Player show! I think everyone knows Baby Come Back was a Player original #1 hit that has stood the test of time in numerous commercials, movies and media outlets for the past 40 years now.

Since Ronn left “The Bold and The Beautiful” he has been touring every summer with Peter Beckett all over the USA and they did a full 14 day tour in Australia in 2014, as well as, appearances on “General Hospital” and “Celebrity Wife Swap.” Player also was part of the incredible Rock and Romance 70s Cruise to Cozumel, Mexico recently and joined classic rock legends like, “America” and Peter Frampton. So I think Player will be doing even more touring with more classic rock greats in the future. But, for now there is only one more Player date for this summer and the venue only holds 300 seats, so get your tickets here now!

We are also excited to announce that Ronn has just done a beautiful song with Pope Francis! Yes, you heard right the Pope and Ronn Moss are on a new record together that will be released the first week of June! I guess you can say a trip to Italy is in our near future also. Player recently played at home in Thousand Oaks at the Conejo Valley Days fair, so I’m gonna leave you with some video of what a fun time we had! Please visit Ronn’s website for more details on his future solo performances in Belgium all summer and follow Ronn on Reverbnation to keep up with performances!

It’s surreal to think that it will be a year since the purple one passed away and it’s hard for me to not think of him daily, especially in the month of April. I anticipated Mayte Garcia’s book like many fans of his royal badness and read it searching for answers to the gaps of questions I had. I found her book was done very well and it gave me great insight to some of the things I wondered and thought during his period as the symbol. I also found a lot of similarities to how he romanced her and other women during this time to how he romanced me. Prince was old school cool and really would use the telephone a lot to romance a girl.

I am now happy I listened to my intuition and wrote my memoir, “The Day It Snowed In April.” It was also done out of love and to pay tribute to that romantic beautiful time I shared with him when we both were so young and innocent. I think fans can see Prince was a complicated soul to figure out and part of the mysteriousness was created by him; so that his world would operate the way he wanted it to. As Mayte stated in her book, it was known that a girl was either leaving Minneapolis or staying and those gestures of handshakes he would give a girl was noted to mean he liked her.

Prince always had multiple women in his life and most of them were protégé’s he was grooming, as this was the only way you could fit into his world. I recognized this immediately and he tried to fit me into his world as a protégé, but I didn’t want that. I wanted to be my own person with my own merits and my own career and not be in his shadow or his creation. And there was no way I would want to live in Minneapolis as I could never get use to the winters in Chicago!

Reading Mayte’s book gave me insight to how it would have been for me had I said yes to the “Diamonds and Pearls” video. As much as I wanted to work with Prince the timing was not right and I couldn’t do that video because my marriage was falling apart at that time and as always I put love before career. Prince will always be an enigma to many people and will be studied and talked about for years to come. I’m happy Mayte is at peace with sharing aspects of the pain and sorrow they endured over the loss of their children. And I believe she was indeed the love of his life. I think he pushed her away knowing he was the flawed one and that she still had a chance to be a mother someday. Like most romances he had, the women he wooed loved him dearly because he wanted them to love only him. He was possessive and extremely jealous, but eventually they would all leave him.

I know now he only wanted the best for me and I was actually spared by not working with him because my memories are all so wonderful and beautiful. I came to Hollywood a Playboy Playmate dating the hottest rock star that we have ever seen! There was nothing to top that and for him he knew he could not possess me, so there was no choice but to show me only the good side of him. Many of Prince’s women were in Playboy, Vanity, Carmen Electra, Kim Basinger, Anna Fantastic, but I was introduced to Prince by Playboy and I think he knew that would pose a problem because girls who pose for Playboy end up with may opportunities and options from other powerful men, rock stars, movie stars etc.

I’m sure the fact that Mayte ended up engaged to Tommy Lee of all people only added to his ongoing nightmare that he could not possess her any longer either. As usual, Prince struggled with his own demons and his own values of what was good or bad and he created his world to be exactly the way he wanted it to be. I also created and manifested my world to be the way I felt it should be for me. I think Prince knew when I wrote, “To be loved and in love having a comfortable life and my own family” on my Playmate data sheet that I wanted marriage and family first and foremost. I think that’s why he mentioned he was married to music so often. He knew what the women in his life wanted and most wanted fame and fortune.

When he found his soul mate in Mayte he found his true love, but the tragedy of not having a child with her was something he couldn’t get over and so he had to push her away and I think he did that out of his love for her. I wondered why he married so quickly after the greatest love he ever had and I think it was to make her move on from him. He was being unselfish by pushing her away from him because he knew she could bare children just not his children. I hope many friends, fans and former lovers are now at peace with his death. I’m sure more insightful stories will be shared over time and this is why I wrote out mine in “The Day It Snowed In April.” I didn’t want to forget him and that unique magical time we shared. I am happy, healthy and have a daily reminder of him in my tiny little teacup rescue that I named after him. I am so grateful to have found my soul mate and have a wonderful marriage, so I know the choices I made long ago led me to this moment in time.

I am happy I can now listen to his music and talk about him without crying. I have reconnected with many people from the Revolution and friends who knew him over the past year. I have shared my story for everyone to know him the way I knew him and I look forward to hearing about stories I have yet to learn.

Player was excited to be a part of the inaugural, 70s Rock and Romance cruise to Cozumel, Mexico this past weekend. We took off from Fort, Lauderdale on the Celebrity Summitt cruiseline and simply had a blast of a weekend. Many of our friends were onboard as we were joined by other classic rock bands from the 70s, which is my favorite music that included, Ambrosia, Firefall, Orleans, Little River Band, America, Christopher Cross, Peter Frampton and ELO. It was an incredible weekend of just band hopping from one amazing band to the next! I went back to high school in my mind, body and spirit dancing the night away, while sailing in an almost magical way, wine tasting and eating the most delicious food! Our captain was this cute and funny guy from Ecuador, who had a great sense of humor. He would wake us up by talking about how excited he was to see all the bands live, especially his favorite, America! I must say, they were incredible. It was just so cool to actually see and hang out with all the bands of the music we all grew up with. The boat was filled with love and romance under a full moon dancing to the smooth sounds of, Ambrosia! I mean, who doesn’t want to slow dance to, “That’s How Much I feel” under a full moon? As most of you know, Player has already been touring with Ambrosia, Little River Band, Stephan Bishop, Orleans, Firefall and Christopher Cross, so this was an epic cruise!

Player of course was super exciting to watch and the music was nothing less than outstanding! I was so proud of all of them! Rob Math on guitar had girls screaming and swooning, especially when they played the song, “Religion.” What was ultra cool was that the fans brought their Player albums for them to sign and was able to buy their latest CD, “Too Many Reasons” onboard for them to sign. Fans came from as far as Norway and Spain to see them and the energy all around us was awesome! The people onboard had a real appreciation for that decade of amazing music and musicians. I watched bands all night and never got tired of watching and listening to their amazing harmonies and range of vocals. I watched “Firefall” and was simply entranced by the musicians gracing that stage bringing to life the music I grew up on and transporting me back in time.

You must go on a cruise like that with all your friends and have an unforgettable  memory for the rest of your life! I can’t praise the quality of the ship, fans, music, food, wine and energy of this cruise and highly recommend it. In fact, they are booking next year’s artist already which includes, Michael MacDonald, Styx, Poco and Badfinger. I predict this will be ongoing and will only get better each and every year. Coming back on our flight was not so pleasant when our plane started rockin and rolling it’s way home with strong turbulence. This was a seriously scary bout of turbulence I had never experienced before, but thankfully we are now home safe and recouping from a super fun weekend!

Ronn is now preparing for another Ronn Moss and Friends concert with the lovely, Christine Love at the Vibrato Jazz club on March 29! We have the Daytime Emmy nominations to look forward to next week! I’m pretty sure “The Bay” will be nominated for a few Emmys from this past season. Player has some upcoming local Los Angeles gigs that we will be putting on the new Player website which will feature interactive conversation with all our classic rock friends like, Little River Band, Ambrosia and Firefall. We will have contests, blogs and cool things to share with you about Player on this site which is coming soon! You may now follow Player on Instagram and Twitter and keep up with all the surprises coming for them. They are so exciting to see live because they have such a vibe of sensual love songs and serious rockers like, “Silver Lining.” Peter Beckett hasn’t lost his ability to deliver in vocals and guitar solos. So if you have the chance to see them live, I highly recommend it!

It’s hard to believe we are officially in the month of March already! Seems like Christmas was just yesterday and now spring is just around the corner, but after the recent rains we have been having, I’m ready for the change of season and a bit of sunshine. Just as we have the changes of seasons, we must embrace the changes in our lives and look at new beginnings as blessings to embark on new adventures. Since our recent presidential election, we have seen so much division between personal friends due to their beliefs and values. I personally have never known anyone to delete me as a friend due to my religious or political beliefs in the past and found this recent action between personal friends highly unusual. Personally, I feel it’s driven out of fear and makes no sense whatsoever, however, the division and fear present is a very real observation and I have compassion for it. This why I choose to write my thoughts down in hopes of enlightening and inspiring others through example and knowledge from what I’ve learned thus far in this thing called life.

Recently, we have made some new and wonderful friends that share our common values and beliefs, as well as, desire to help lift and enlighten others. These are the new beginnings of amazing relationships that we hope will become life long friendships. It’s sad when you see friends that you were once close to seemingly fall off the face of the earth. It’s even more telling when those once close friends can’t even share, like or retweet anything you post on social media! Truly, it boggles my mind because that’s why it’s called social media, so that we can interact more and be social. I know celebrities that we know personally also that never want to be social with you online, which is so funny to me. It’s like hitting that like, share or retweet button is just not possible although I’ve known them to spy on me in livestreams or follow my social media. I look at this behavior and just shake my head and laugh.

It’s become obvious that so many people are simply out of balance in many areas of life. Balance is the key to being able to handle changes in life and getting your life in balance in all areas is what my book ‘True Age, Timeless Beauty” is all about. I learned how important balance was to all aspects of life and was inspired to write this book over a decade ago to help others understand this. It’s important to balance and health to let go of stress and understand this which is why I’m writing the follow up to that book on keeping life in balance called, ‘True Wisdom, Timeless Spirit.” I truly believe this that it’s so important to lift our fellow human beings up and have compassion for their fears. We are all connected and one in this thing called life and it’s important to start recognizing that. Be the love, the example and the light for others to follow in spite of their fears.

I was so touched recently by a thread on my Facebook page discussing our political differences when a Russian girl joined in and expressed how great it would be to have our countries get along. She went on to express how important it is to control the immigration that is constant in our country and said that from their point of view, immigrants who leave their mother country to come to America for the money are not looked upon fondly. She believes these people should have more pride in their own country and these people are seen as lazy and are not welcome back to their own countries and many were kicked out to begin with. This conversation showed me how different our point of views are and yet how human we all are. Her view was that it is good to be selfish and think first about your own country. She went on to say there is nothing wrong with that, in fact it’s considered right and respectful to do so in their opinion and that we should indeed try it.

After that conversation, I had many other online friends join in from many other countries saying the same thing and I realized how much my voice is being heard in spite of close so-called friends lashing out with hateful comments and half truths or down right crazy antics of wanting to delete their longtime friends and family from their lives just because they disagreed on their views. The bigger picture of how fearful some people are to change was so apparent and that embracing new beginnings would maybe be a challenge, yet necessary for truth growth. I feel we are all at a point in life that the evolution of your mind, body and spirit is necessary and anything or anyone who isn’t on that level should not be a part of your life. Once you evolve to this place it’s really hard to go back to living in fear and it’s not healthy. Stress kills, it ages you and it keeps you out of balance and unable to think clearly. Keeping life in balance helps you conquer fear, stay healthy, maintain positive relationships that are beneficial to growth and like ripples in a pond, we are happier and more prosperous as a result. We are able to handle anything life throws at us and still stay in balance.

So as we embark on embracing these new beginnings as a whole, I’m trying to keep my mind, body and spirit in balance and intend to continue sharing what I’m learning in the this thing called life for as long as I live. Those of you who follow me on Periscope have been in scopes devoted to this very subject in what I call “Peritherapy.” It is through sharing with others that we grow as a whole. We will continue to embrace the new beginnings with excitement and anticipation of new adventures and with hope for only peace and love in our world.

Last week I officially launched my memoir, “The Day It Snowed In April” on my life and time with rock star Prince. It was my way of paying tribute to his unique style and music legacy with a purple theme party in Beverly Hills. The event was held at the home of Brad and Tina Hillstrom, who are natives from Minneapolis. I wanted purple carpet instead of red and for everything to be colored purple in honor of Prince. I even dressed little Prince up in a custom outfit so that he could live up to his namesake for photos.

We had so much rain in the days leading up to the event, I wasn’t sure if the weather would clear up? But it seemed like Prince was surely smiling down on us that day as the sun started to shine! Many long time friends enjoyed listening to Stereo Mike Creamer spin some of Prince’s music that he made during my time with him.

Purple love was in the air and even though it was “Fashion Week” and Grammy week, the purple unicorn singer, Justine Skye stopped by looking fabulous, along with America’s favorite letter turner, Vanna White and classic rock singer, Al Stewart.

Guest enjoyed vegan appetizers by Deliteful meals and chef Karen and purple cupcakes from Swirls. We had a purple punch compliments of Purple Haze and Blackhorn imports. A big thank you to publicist Tiffany Ladner and Anolan for all the organization that went into creating such a memorable afternoon. I gave autographed copies of my book in giftbags along with sponsored gifts from ThinEssence, Delightful meals, Parfaire, Green Leaf, and Expert Insight Publishing.  My gorgeous purse was compliments of Grace Nowak and my hair and makeup was done by Emily and the Four Season’s Salon in Westlake, compliments of Yamaguchi. My hair had a shade of purple in it compliments of Louise at Urban Dyebar and I was driven in style to the party in a Rolls Royce compliments of Royal Exotic cars. Special thanks to William Kidston for all the lovely photos and to my Playmate sisters, Deborah Driggs, Barbara Moore and Sandra Taylor for all the love and support!

Half of the proceeds from my book will go to benefit Prince’s charity, #YesWeCode. This is my way of paying it forward and keeping his desire for children’s education in the forefront of his legacy. I thought it was fitting to officially launch “The Day It Snowed In April” in February, the month of love because of the pure love that I know we all shared for Prince and all the amazing music he gave us. You can get “The Day It Snowed In April” now on Amazon and Barnes and Noble in Hardcover, Paperback and Kindle and the Audio version will be out soon! If you enjoyed the book, share the purple love and give it as gift and please don’t forget to give me a review on Amazon

As I watch the rain trickle into the powered covered snow decks of our cabin here in Lake Arrowhead, I felt like writing my thoughts and feelings down surrounding this past year. I’m sure most of you are in total agreement with me in saying, 2016 sucked the big one!! I personally cannot wait to welcome in 2017, after viewing or experiencing one tragedy after another this past year.

It was awful to start 2016 off with the deaths of our beloved David Bowie, Glenn Frey and Prince! And to end it just as badly with the deaths of our beloved Princess Lea, Carrie Fisher, her mother, Debbie Reynolds one day behind her and George Michael who shared the same birthday month and year as me! Maybe it’s the age of most of the baby boomers and the fact that there are so many of us that can relate strongly to these losses. They were staples of our youth that has passed by way too quickly. We grew up together with their music, movies and images ingrained in our minds forever. They represented how fast and fleeting life truly is to have died so young and/or tragic.

Aladdin Sane.tif

2016 will also mark how divided and split we are as Americans with our political views. And how much change is happening in our world that is right there in your face with social media on a daily basis. It’s hard to ignore the status of our world as a whole and the struggles we are facing as humanity hangs by a thread. If we can survive 2016 and venture into 2017 with any kind of positive optimism for whatever is we have to be grateful for, I believe we may have a chance to take a turn for a much better future. Life is truly a gift that we must cherish each and every day. I’m choosing to remain optimistic about 2017 and wish everyone a blessed New Year, one that is filled with love and great success. We must all dream as big as possible about each year being better than the last because that is what we will ultimately create for ourselves.

I think 2016 is a turning point for mankind to reflect and remember, as we move forward in the great unknown future that is the gift of this life; we are living right here and now. So a toast to 2017, may you shed light on the darkness so many have faced and give us all hope for a brighter tomorrow!

As we approach the end of 2016, I can honestly say I can’t wait to have it over and done with. This has not been a pleasant year for me. We battled an 8 month IRS tax audit that I’m grateful we prevailed in and is finally over, but it took up a lot of tedious hours of my time. We lost a lot of great musical artists such as, David Bowie, Glenn Fry and our beloved Prince. This was especially hard on me given my memories of such a precious innocent time in my life. I felt a strong urge to write them all down before I would be too old to remember the details anymore. If someone had told me that I would write a memoir on the most intimate details of my life this year, I would have told them they were crazy and I didn’t have that kind of time. Given that tax audit was taking up most of it and on top of that I was dealing with other added things like being producer on our Emmy award winning Amazon Prime series, “The Bay.” And then of course we had the never ending saga of the election and the constant battle with friends over those two candidates that it made me want to pull my hair out and scream at the top of my lungs at certain times.

In addition to all of this we were trying to sell our houses and consolidate and simplify our lives, given our kids are grown up and not around as much. As a realtor, I had many things to deal with such as repairs, showings and tenants that also took up alot of my time. Time is something that is abstract and goes by so fast and it’s something we can never get back. Sometimes looking back on time spent with beloved people in our lives that are no longer with us can often give you the blues, especially around the holidays. So to say I have the holiday blues this is year is really being honest. I didn’t feel like putting up a tree or entertaining and the holidays seemed to be upon us way too fast for me to catch my breath.

I am grateful this horrible year is ending and am optimistically looking forward to the new year with the completion of my memoir, “The Day It Snowed In April.” Although I didn’t set out to write a memoir on my life this year, I’m happy it turned out the way it has and I’m very proud of the book, as I feel it was directly inspired by Prince for me to tell our beautiful story now. Writing the book helped me grieve through the pain of his death and I got to relive those beautiful moments all over again as I laughed and cried reading it back. My life reads like a Jackie Collins novel and it’s hard to believe this was actually my life. People come in and out of our lives teaching us and guiding us through laughter and pain and helping us grow into the person we are at this very moment in time.

Prince was one of those mystical magical moments of my life at a time when we were both young and innocent with lots of zest for life. I’ve always had a spiritual connection with him and he’s been a constant thread throughout my life so I pondered on why that was and had to write it all down. I was amazed at how fast I wrote the book and how much of it poured out of me, cleansing my soul and bathing me with love. When I read it back I cried like a baby and I struggled with whether I even wanted to release it? I let a few close personal friends read it that knew Prince and my time with him to get their opinions. I watched for signs and prayed that Prince would guide me to what he wished me to do.

The signs appeared in white owls screaming outside my front door during a full moon that told me this had to be Prince! They came to my door three nights in a row flying around me while I continued writing. Then I had a gift on my birthday, June 25, which I discovered was also the day “Purple Rain” was released. I never knew this until I started writing the book. That gift turned out to be the tiniest rescue dog that I renamed Prince. Now anyone who knows Ronn and I would have said that they would have never seen me with such a small dog. He’s only two pounds, but has the biggest personality and reminds me everyday of Prince and puts a smile on my face.  These signs told me that Prince now wants me to share this time of his life because it was the happiest time in both of our lives. Like the iconic musicians before him, Prince wants his fans to know the person he truly was and the person he became because he was an inspiration to all who encountered his soul. He was so special and mysterious even to those who actually knew him. So I believe many books, movies and documentaries will be yet to come on his life. My story is just part of what was his journey and its a beautiful heartfelt one that I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed living it.

I want to give half of the proceeds from the book to Prince’s charity #yeswecode and I want fans of the book to spread the love and share it because it is meant to be an inspirational tribute to a man like no other. You may preorder the book here before the worldwide release date of Feb 1, 2017. I ask that you give me a review for the website and like ripples in a pond spread the love and share it with someone YOU love! I will autograph preorders for FREE!!!

The presidential election is around the corner and many people are still divided about these two candidates. We have never seen nor will we ever see another election quite like this one that has divided even the best of friends in their political views. So many blatant lies have been told to us by the press to cover up the most corrupt government officials we have ever had in office.  Due to our Secretary of States actions which leave us vulnerable to an attack, several countries have discovered sensitive top- secret documents. Many foreign officials have been paying for favors and want to keep this administration in power to solidify their devious agenda.

Money and power equals corruption and its plain to see our government is severely corrupted and our hard earned money is being drained from the American people like water. Here at home we aren’t taking care of our elderly, our military vets and our own American citizens because of political monies that go to unnecessary wars and greasing the palms of criminal activities within our own administration. I grew up in the deep- south where many people were democrats believing the lies that so many previous politicians would tell poor and uneducated people just to win their votes. The amount of money spent of television ads to slander the competition was always a must and this became the normal way to campaign for politicians.

I believe in voting for the right person who can get our needs met and I don’t care if they are republican or democrat. I voted for Obama in his first term and so did Ronn. However, in the last eight years of this administration there has not been much change for Americans. We are less safe, more in debt and our country is more corrupt that ever. There are less jobs, less security for our vets and elderly and constantly rising health costs that no one can afford. I believe in getting all the facts on both parties before casting my deciding vote come election- day and here is what I’ve discovered about both parties.

Donald Trump has built his own empire and has created many jobs for women and minorities in his companies. Hillary Clinton has not created any jobs, but has taken huge amounts of foreign money through her foundation that has me wondering why? Donald Trump pays his employees and women who are in executive and managerial positions more than comparable companies, which tells me he is not misogynist. He’s a businessman who wants the best people for the position. Isn’t that what we learned about him in his hit reality show, “The Apprentice?”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRu3U-nwyhw

Hillary Clinton’s right hand aid is Huma Abedin, who’s parents are head of the Muslim Brotherhood and Sisterhood. Huma is also married to Anthony Weiner the congressman who has already been exposed for being a pedophile. Donald Trump fought the West Palm Beach City so he was able to open his newly purchased club to include African Americans and Jews as members, who had been banned until then. This tells me he is not racist.

Hillary Clinton has direct ties to George Soros because her daughter is married to his nephew and we have discovered he owns many of the polls that have been rigged to go in her favor. This makes me wary of her intentions and compiles the deceit to cover things up like those 33,000 emails that were destroyed when she was asked to turn them over by a Supreme court subpoena. Donald Trump has raised wonderful children who are hard working Americans that aren’t living off of his wealth, but who have achieved their own success. His economic plan makes sense because we are a broken country that can’t continue down this rabbit hole any longer and need major changes.

I know sometimes change seems scary to most people and many would like to think Hillary Clinton has the experience in politics and would like to believe what she’s saying she will do for America, but the facts do not add up to that from her past, so why would you think there will be anything different if she were to be president? I’m fed up with the rampant corruption that continues in Washington DC when our hard working Americans who protect and educate us like, policeman and teachers are being underpaid due to tax increases that go to foreign countries.

I’m disgusted with seeing so many of my professional friends lose their homes, their jobs and undergo harassing bogus tax audits designed to drain you of your wealth, so that you become enslaved like that many poor and uneducated people to the lies and corruption of our government. It’s time that America comes first and we put the oxygen mask on ourselves before helping foreign countries. What I’m learning about Hillary Clinton offends me more that what Donald Trump says because action speaks louder than words. And lastly Donald Trump put his money where his mouth is with putting his own hard earned money into his campaign for the presidency. This tells me he truly wants to help make “America Great Again” and is a true patriot, because he already has great wealth and isn’t taking money from shady foreigners like Hillary Clinton.

BREAKING!!! Watch NOW… This is REAL (VIDEO) Folks.. .. FBI is Quietly Releasing Documents Via Julian Assange and Wikileaks. A Counter Coup to the Clinton Attack is Happening NOW!!!

In looking at all these facts, it’s clear that candidate I will now vote for on election- day. It’s the only one who makes sense and wants to put American first and that may sound selfish, but it’s necessary at this point. History is in the making folks! Time to wake up and take back our country that use to be for the people and by the people. Isn’t that what America was all about? In the next few days, we will see changes like never before here in America. You don’t have to like the candidate you vote for, but you must at least believe in what they are saying.

Go look at the facts they speak for themselves with both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. I don’t wish to upset anyone by voicing my opinion and I hope to not lose a friend over it, but I truly do not believe everything I hear in the media. That is because I actually know media people who have been told to report certain things and leave out certain things. Therefore, I never watch the news and study things for myself before making a major decision like this one. Your vote is needed to make the change happen and we need to fix America before it’s really too late!

Just as the seasons are changing and that feeling of fall is feathering the air with crispness, we are starting some changes of our own at DevRonn. It’s always exciting when change comes because it brings along new adventures! There are several changes and ventures both Ronn and I are embarking on and one of them is with Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning! We are very happy to announce that it will be available exclusively in two amazing Malibu restaurants, “Zooma Sushi” and “Coral Beach Cantina.” Both of these adjoining staples in Malibu are known for their amazing cuisine and we have personally tried our spice on everything for years now and know it speaks volumes when it comes to flavor and it’s great on everything! I think they even want to name a couple of dishes after me at both restaurants. So don’t be surprised to see “Devin’s Kickass Crab Sushi handrolls” at Zooma Sushi or “Devin’s Kickass Shrimp Tacos” at Coral Beach Cantina next time you visit! These Malibu hotspots will be the first place you can taste Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning firsthand!

In other ventures, Ronn has partnered with modify watches and will be launching his own line of Ronn Moss watches just in time for Christmas! These will make great gifts for anyone who is Ronn Moss fan and there will be several cool styles to choose from! He is also working on Ronn Moss T-shirts and scarves that he will be helping to design himself! I know how much you all have been wanting him to do a scarf line of his own and I think you will love the new designs!

In the meantime, DevRonn Fanclub members are encouraged to hurry and renew their memberships because upcoming exciting news will be revealed in the next few days exclusively for them!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve done a blog and I apologize, but there just hasn’t been much time to do alot of the things I’ve been use to doing. As Ronn and I celebrated our seven year wedding anniversary, it seems life is passing by so very fast and changing even faster. All the talk about politics, ISIS, our environment, the economy, and all the in your face corruption that is just too bad to ignore is getting even more prevalent  Our world has gotten smaller because of social media and the fact that news is so instantaneous due to our advanced technology. It seems to make our world spin even faster and time to move at a different speed like we are running on empty. It seems like mankind has really lost his mind in so many ways. You start to wonder if you are trapped in a bad nightmare and if you will ever wake up?

wedding photo

I’ve always been a positive and optimistic person. It’s how I’ve survived a horrible basically non-existent childhood of abuse and foster homes and I truly believe in the power of your mind and focusing your thoughts on good rather than bad things in life. That’s why I do not watch the news and read about what’s happening instead of obsessing about all the negativity around us. I realize it’s always been there for as long as mankind has been here. It’s just instantaneously in your face 24/7 now. That’s why it’s so important for mankind to wake up and start monitoring their thoughts and feelings. It’s important that we live in love and not a fear based world.

I believe balance is the key to everything here and the only way to keep balance in all areas of life is by being able to feel and think rationally and optimistically about life’s journey. That’s the reason I wrote the book, “True Age, Timeless Beauty” to help people find balance and understand that your thoughts and feelings go hand in hand in manifesting your future destiny or turning back time if you so desire. The power to change things in within you! We cannot control others only ourselves and we must start working together as a united species if we are to have any real growth and enough positive change to overcome the negatives.

true_age_timeless_beauty

It is surely possible to do if we collectively decide to do it! Stop fighting to be right and start working for the good of all concern, which is our whole world. Stop thinking its their problem and not ours because at the end of the day we are all living on this planet together as one species called human beings. I guess I’m just venting a bit in writing this particular blog? Maybe it’s because the season is changing? The election for a new president is around the corner and more changes will surely come as a result of whoever is elected. Right now I wish everyone who take the time to stop and the hatred over just about everything and anything and look at the our world a little more lovingly for all the beauty it offers. Maybe by doing this, your thoughts and feelings may change and we can then all collectively start healing the wounds of so many.

It been a while since I’ve been able to blog because I had computer issues and had no choice but to learn to be without constant communication with the world here for a few weeks! Yes I have my Ipad and phone, but I’m just not able to do some things that I’m use to doing, such as the blog on them. I think the universe wanted to make me do without such constant instant communication to the entire world for a while, so that I could truly focus on other things that needed my attention fully. One of those things has been my new little love that I adopted from the Shelter Hope Pet Shop, Prince!

IMG_6190

Prince is my little tea cup Chorkie who some think it the smallest dog they have ever seen. He is only 2 pounds and is fully grown at two years old. A Chorkie is half Chihuahua, half Yorkie and his owners sadly passed away in a car accident about a month ago, so the family dropped him and his big mutt brother, Chester off to the Shelter Hope Pet Shop for adoption. Many of you know how much I love to do to help save our animals and my girlfriend Kim Sill, who started Shelter Hope Pet Shop is the poster child for saving as many as she can. Kim produced the documentary, “Saved In America” and told me all about this amazing little Prince on my recent birthday. As many of you know, I lost my Shih-tzu, Romeo three years ago and just didn’t want to take on the life-time responsibility of another pet because of the amount of traveling Ronn and I do these days. However, when Kim described the story of how she acquired Prince and his personality, I just had to meet him! Turns out we were a match and he’s been such a joy of love and tranquility that the whole family adores! Ronn, Creason and Calee all love the little guy and I decided to change his name from Spencer to Prince because he reminded me so much of the rock star, Prince. His personality is so quiet, yet he is full of energy and so smart for such a little dog. He also so sweet and lovable and sleeps with Ronn and I, but he’s also quite possessive already of me and barks when Ronn kisses me, which I must Periscope soon because it’s quite funny to watch!

Prince

So my summer has been flying by with dog day afternoons, doggie play dates and doggie cuddling as I’ve been bonding with my new little guy. I’ve also had to shift my attention to real estate this summer, as we are trying to consolidate and simplify our lives by selling off homes in order to down size and get rid of things we aren’t using or don’t need. I’m a firm believer in doing this yearly in all areas of life because sometimes having less is actually more. It’s a sense of freedom from too many issues that need to be addressed that take up time you could be spending with family. As we get older, it’s important to spend more quality time with friends and family because each and every day becomes more and more precious.

IMG_6121

So this summer hasn’t been as social as we are use to because we have had to shift our priorities to focus on new additions to the family, changes in our lives and more quality time with each other. I guess having the computer problems was good for me because it has forced me to put more energy and intimacy at home. Summer has also brought us two more Emmys to add to our home as producers on “The Bay,” which is launching on Amazon Prime next month! If you have an Amazon Prime account you will be able to catch new digitally remastered season one of fourteen episodes and binge into Bayhem! We couldn’t be more proud and excited for you guys to join in on all the exciting things coming up for “The Bay” this fall when the new season two is launched before Christmas! “The Bay” will also be available in Germany, Austria, Japan, UK/Ireland and China. Unfortunately, we do not have distribution in other areas yet and you will not be able to view episodes on the website anymore. We will be adding more countries as we get distribution in those countries. We will also be shooting more episodes this fall and I will keep you guys posted with behind the scene Periscopes from the set!

IMG_6172

In the meantime, I hope your summer breeze is making you feel fine and that life is treating you well with all the love and joy that life has to offer. It’s really the most important thing we can have and the feeling of love and joy will make all things possible even the impossible.

As I celebrated another year on this planet last weekend, I felt extremely grateful to have survived this past year given all the amazing people we have had to say goodbye to so young. It’s been rather emotional for me and I think when I get emotional I sometimes get really quiet and don’t feel much like talking or socializing. So I really didn’t want to do anything for my birthday this year. My birthday reminds of people I grew up with like Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett, both who died on my birthday and how fleeting life can be. However, this year my birthday fell on a Saturday and Ronn has been doing a lot of great music with some of his friends lately and they wanted to throw me a little party. So I told Ronn he could for once be in charge of organizing it and I wanted to keep it small because I just didn’t have the energy for socializing with too many people this year.

IMG_5934

IMG_5933

Our wedding was just over a hundred people and we didn’t even get to eat our dinner from saying hello and goodbye to friends and family throughout the evening. So I didn’t feel I had the energy to do that this year and I have way too many friends and didn’t want to leave anyone out. So I put a very short guest list together of people I had not seen in a while so that I could properly catch up and have fun without stressing over whether or not we would have too many people. We have also decided smaller groups of gatherings are a lot more fun! So if any of my friends who didn’t get invited to this birthday are reading this, please don’t take it personally. I just didn’t have the energy for it and wanted to spend time with friends I don’t get to see often like artist Jon Hul. Jon drove in from Las Vegas and was so amazing on the drums with the boys and he gave me the most gorgeous painting that he did of me and Bettie Page!

IMG_5957

IMG_5965

I also had the producer who cast me on Star Search over 30 years ago attend, Michele Buiton who drove in from Palm Springs and Playmate of the Year, Renee’ Tenison and her twin sister Rosie, along with Barbara Moore who I never get to see much of. Our friend Donnie hosted it at his beautiful home and I had one of my favorite liquor sponsors, “Purple Haze” as my birthday punch. Also a special thanks to Nathan  Wheeler of Blackhorn Imports for the Viru Valge Vodka and Rum!  Our very own producers from “The Bay” were gracious enough to be there along with our Bay publicist Tiffany Ladner. So I felt like I had a stress free birthday celebration and I feel nothing but gratitude and blessings right now for all the amazing cards and gifts from so many of you guys.

IMG_5967

IMG_5969

Right now I still have so much going on because I’m working on a TV project that I will share with you all soon, writing another book and selling our houses to simplify our lives since Ronn is touring more. I want to have less work and more time to socialize in the future. So please be patient with me until I get all my ducks lined up enough to be as social as I’d like to be and just know that I sincerely appreciate all your emails, tweets, postings and comments. Thank you Sue Wong and Jo Hilton for that fabulous Sunday brunch in Malibu and to my wonderful husband for making me feel so special.

This past week has been so beautiful watching the flowers bloom everywhere and enjoying the essence of a real Spring for a change here in southern California. Ronn and I have been very busy with various charity events such as, the Unstoppable gala that he was asked to present at. Unstoppable provides education for children in Africa and has made the difference already is so many children. It was a black tie affair with Ann Archer, Bob Proctor and Dyan Cannon who hosted the gorgeous gala.

Devin and Ronn Moss

Ronn then performed with Peter Beckett at the Canyon Club, as Player, who joined Ambrosia, Stephan Bishop and the one and only Michael McDonald and his wife Amy to benefit a little girl named Darcy who is battling cancer. I think you guys know by now how much we lend our time and efforts to charities that benefit children and animals. The Canyon Club event was a great success and a lot of fun and we were honored to be a part of it.

Player and AmbrosiaAmy & Michael McDonald

Then we got to spend some quality time with Creason and Calee due to their spring break and I managed to do some cooking for them and the band when they came over to rehearse with Ronn for upcoming gigs. The feeling of excitement was in the air all week leading up to the 5 Emmy nominations for our series, “The Bay” which includes “Best Digital Drama Series” and “Best Actor, Kristos Andrews” along with “Best Actresses, Mary Beth Evans, Lilly Melgar and Patsy Pease.”

The Bay Emmy Nominations

The thought of adding two more Emmys to our household is just so surreal! In addition to “The Bay” Emmy nominations, we are in getting ready to shoot more episodes in May and have even more exciting news to share with you guys soon on the amazing progress our Bay family is making! There are many exciting new beginnings for our Bay family and our own family to share with you soon!

Right now we are just excited to be healthy and happy to celebrate this Easter weekend with our wonderful friends, as we look forward to what’s ahead in our future both personally and professionally. Wishing you all a wonderful Passover/Easter weekend!
