I feel deeply sadden by the death of actor Corey Haim. I happen to work him and his best buddy Corey Feldman on a comedy called, “Busted.” in the mid 90’s. He seemed to have his life back on track then, but I understand he had a constant battle with addiction. Winsor Harmon lived next door to him and said he was a really nice guy. My heart goes out to Corey Feldman whom I’ve know for long time. It is like the loss of a family member for him and 38 is just to young to die.

So far it’s been a fun week for us. We had a blast at the Laura Biagiotti fashion show and Ronn presented Laura with flowers at the end of the show. We stayed at the beautiful and prestigious Principe Di Savoia hotel and had a romantic dinner cooked at our table. Dan McVicar joined us at the fashion show and for lunch at Bice with Lavinia and some of her friends. We then headed back by train and stopped in Florence where Sara DiViara picked us up to drive us to her hometown, Bulgheri. This cutest little town I’ve ever seen and we were greeted by the entire community upon arrival. Then we had the most delicious tuscan food and stay in a sweet little hotel, woke up to a beautiful breakfast overlooking the scenic view of the town and Ronn signed autographs and took pictures with just about everyone.A Ballando crew was on hand to capture the moments as Sara gave us a tour of the vineyard and we stopped at her home to have lunch, compliments of her mother’s cooking. Their wine DiVaira is one of the best Italian wines we have had and the meal was complete with homemade lasagna and home grown vegetables that were so tasty and fresh. We continued walking through the town greeting everyone. I felt like I was campaigning for Ronn to run for Italy’s next president, as I took pictures with people, was kissed by a lot of grandmothers and held a lot of babies along the way. I got a lot of compliments on what I said to the jury in Italian last week on the show and the whole town had flyers and banners up that said, “Vote for Ronn and Sara.” We went around to several houses when “Beautiful” was on air and surprised a few people when they saw Ronn and Sara the their door. The day ended at the beach with a beautiful sunset and Ronn and I got a wonderful invitation to vacation at the prestigious Tombolo resort, which has the most amazing spa and view of the sea. We headed back to Rome and Ronn has been focused on dance lessons the rest of this week. He didn’t want the cast and crew from Ballando to do anything special for his birthday and it’s a usual work day of rehearsals for him. We will go out to dinner later to celebrate with a DiVaira bottle of wine, a present from Sara’s family. I will return home on Sunday after show number 8 and Ronn will stay until next Sunday so that he can get some more dance lessons in before the finals. I think it’s so cute how much he wants to win this competition now, considering I had to kick his butt to get him to do the show to begin with! Personally, I think they have an excellent chance of winning and predict that they will take home that huge trophy!

It was a fun weekend spent with the girls. Creason had a few girlfriends over for a sleepover to start celebrating her 16th birthday, which is tomorrow! I told her she should celebrate for a whole month. So I cooked a bunch of Italian dishes and had some friends over to welcome Sara and her mother. Then I cooked a bunch of Cajun dishes in celebration of Mardi Gras and introduced it to Sara.  Ronn and Sara practiced the Rumba and the Marangie all weekend.  We shot some video of Sara gunshooting, horseback riding and visiting the set of B&B for a Ballando profile. I must say I am looking forward to seeing them perform the Rumba and think it’s going to be their best dance. It’s so sexy and beautiful to watch. Ronn has really come a long way and looks very graceful now when he dances. His body has transformed also into solid muscle. He was always in great shape, but he’s in amazing shape now! I believe we will continue dancing together after the show is over because he likes it and it will be fun for me to learn some of these dances now. We capped off a great week with Sara yesterday at the spa and had amazing massages and facials. I’m really proud of how much Italian I’ve learned and look forward to the next 10 days in Roma now to practice speaking more. I’m also taking my real estate workbook with me to study every night for my exam. I won’t be able to take the exam until the end of April, so I don’t want to forget what I’ve learned so far.  Right now I’m in the British Airways lounge waiting for my flight to meet Ronn in Roma. We are looking forward to going to Milan for Fashion week, compliments of Laura Biagiotti. I was hoping to see my friend Dita Von Teese there, but will just miss her, as she will arrive the day after we leave. So I’m hoping to visit her in Paris this summer and learn some French! Sara has invited us to visit her on her Tuscan vineyard during the wine festival and we are looking forward to doing that with Creason and Calee. After Ballando is finished, we will take our first family vacation with Creason and Calee and visit Florence, Venice and Roma!

It was great to have Ronn home if only for a few days. All he can talk about is dancing. He really is excited about the progress he’s making and seems to be enjoying it. We have invited Sara to come to LA to visit for a few days next week, so that she and Ronn can practice a little more since he doesn’t get to as much as the other contestants. I look forward to her helping me with some Italian.  I went to a great charity event last week with my pals Wally and Lori for http://www.standupforkids.org/“Stand up for Kids.” It’s a charity that helps homeless teenagers get off the streets. Some of the cast from “Desperate Housewives” were in attendance. I’ve also managed to make some progress with all of my studies and feel I’m almost ready for my real estate exam. However, due to the fact that I will be going back to Italy in a couple of weeks with Ronn and then again for our Spring break vacation with the kids; I probably won’t be able to take it until late April.  I’m so looking forward to our first Valentine’s day as a married couple and will celebrate it with our dear friends Bob and Kira Lorsh at a private dinner party when Ronn returns home. He will then be home for 10 days, so we are looking forward to that and celebrating Creason’s 16th birthday! Geez it seems like yesterday she was 10 and three inches shorter than me, now I’m looking up all the time to her!  Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day filled with love and chocolate covered kisses.

It was great having Ronn home even though it was only for a couple of days. He really seemed exhausted and said this has been very hard on him, but as always, he seems to blaze through it. Working on B&B non stop and doing 7 shows this week didn’t give him much time with me and the girls, however we managed to have a lovely family dinner of stuffed pasta shells last night. He left in the wee hours of this morning heading back to Rome, this time for 10 days! Peter Beckett joined him on this trip and they will perform a little mini live acoustic concert in Rome. It is the longest we will be apart, since our wedding. I am deep into studying for my real estate license and still into learning Italian, so the quiet time alone is good for me right now. I’m also attending a dear friend’s birthday party on Saturday, so that should be fun. Personally, I don’t mind being alone, because I always seem to get so many things done. It’s been great to get back to the gym and I plan to start pole class again next week. I’m also finishing the edits on my next book, “True Age, Timeless Beauty” which is a guide for keeping your life in balance and finding the fountain of youth and all that you desire in life. I’m very excited to share personal secrets that I have learned over the years with everyone and have been writing this book for the past three years. I finally feel it’s almost finished. The DevRonn website is also going through a makeover and I’m currently taking meetings with potential investors to take it to the next level in marketing. We have a wonderful product that everyone seems to love as much as we do and it was made for a great cause, so I believe with all my heart that it will be in the supermarkets soon. Our dream is to make it available to a mass market. I am happy to announce my first personal appearance in years and will be signing autographed copies of my book, “The Truth About A Pinup Model” along with other memorabilia at the Pasadena Convention center, March 20th, 2010. Other celebrities joining me there are Ozzy Osbourne, Frank Stallone and Shirley Jones just to name a few of over 150 celebrities in attendance. Ronn and I are heading home today and I can’t wait! Rome has been a wonderful experience, unlike any of my other trips here and Ronn feels the same way. We have made some terrific friends, like gorgeous Nancy Brilli and her adorable husband Roy, who cooked us an amazing dinner. Our beautiful dear friend, Lavinia Biagiotti treated us like royalty on Christmas, in her beautiful castle with her mother Laura and our new friend Loreto took us on that wonderful private tour of the Vatican and Sistine chapel and turned us on to a wonderful little restaurant we will never forget. Ronn is now having an emotional and unique experience with all the dancers on Ballando con le stelle and is having a lot of fun. Although, it’s alot of hard work, he is challenging himself with it and is excited to show Italy who Ronn really is. For so long, Italy has loved “Ridge” but hasn’t known the man who has brought him to life. I was very proud of him last night and thought he did a fabulous job, in spite of the critical comments made by the judges. They don’t understand that Ronn has had to work twice as hard as everyone else; in a shorter amount of time due to also shooting B&B. He will be flying back and forth every week to do B&B and will only have one good day to rehearse his dance for that week, whereas all the other dancers will have the whole week to prepare. I think what he did in the amount of time he has had to prepare is simply amazing! I’m sure as the show progresses, everyone will come to see who Ronn really is and how dedicated he is to his work and his fans. He appreciates so much the fans in Italy who has cast their votes for him. Until our next trip together…..

Today, was a long day. I went into the studio in Roma to do the 2nd fitting for my first suit for my first dance on Saturday night. In Italy, they make all the clothes, for a show like this, from scratch. So the formal suit is made one stitch at a time. Several fitting will take place to make sure it fits like a glove. That’s a lot of pins to stick my hands as I try and take it off each time. Really, these people are amazing in their dedication to making everything custom, and making everything perfect. I’m going to look GOOD even if I dance so so.

Once the fitting was done, I had my 2 hour dance lesson with Sara Di Vaira. She’s really patient with trying to teach me these different dances. She says I’m doing well but I sometimes feel like Quasi Moto desperately trying to learn Jive dancing. We dance in a very well lit rehearsal studio with 2 way mirrors on 2 sides of the room. Behind these mirrors are 3 cameras that follow our every move and frustration throughout the lessons. All of them. Did I mention, it gets up to what feels like about 120 degrees in there because of the intensity of the lights. These rooms double as tanning booths. Anyway, once we’re finished with the daily lesson, we try and dry off from loosing about 3 quarts of sweat, then get ready for going to the main studio where the actual show will be filmed LIVE Saturday night. There, we will rehearse for the first time with the actual live band. There must be 12 different cameras involved at all angles. Over the audience boom view, main 3 cameras on the floor, one semi-circle camera moving with us automatically as we move like they have with race horses along the side of the track. And of course the extreme close up that gets right into the muscles in your face twitching with how much your feet hurt. All part of the show.
Did I mention it was much cooler in this studio than our rehearsal studio. I think it only got to about 115 degrees.

Tomorrow, there’s more 2 hour dance lessons, and more rehearsal in the main studio with the band again. Then interviews and photo sessions for magazines and various newspaper articles. I must say, this band, which includes the typical rhythm section of drums, bass, keyboards and guitar…. Also includes horns, percussion, singers and a violin. They are a kickass band!

All for now, I must try and sleep. It’s almost 1am and my feets hurt!

Love to you all, Ronn

Ronn just completed what I think is his most beautiful video blog to date. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did.

Ronn is feeling better, but still has a runny nose. It didn’t stop him from dancing his butt off on Saturday and I must say he is looking pretty damn good. Although, it’s hard work, two hours of dancing in a heated room due to all the lights and the filming of it, he is handling it all pretty well. Today he had the day off, so we went to see the Colloseum and Pantheon and did a lot of walking around the city. As always, everyone recognizes Ronn even with a hat on and glasses and want non stop photos. We went to the supermarket here for a few things we needed and the guy at the check out counter call his wife to have Ronn say hello. We went to get gelati and the girl behind the counter wanted a photo. We go to restaurants and the owners, cooks and waiters all want photos and autographs. He stops traffic and men, women and children call out Ronn Moss as he walk the streets. Crowds build if he stops for one picture and it can become crazy. It becomes tiring to walk the city with him as a result, so he ended up covering his face with a scarf and that seems to work, especially walking through the crowded streets of the shopping district. I’ve never seen so many people! Seems all the stores have sales of 30%-50% off after New Year’s eve so everyone goes shopping. This week will be non stop dance lessons and rehearsals for the live taping of “Ballando con le stelle” on Saturday night. So I will take a day to myself tomorrow and study more Italian, write and do some shopping alone. It’s been a great new year for us so far and we have really enjoyed touring Roma, making new friends, eating great Italian food and drinking some good vino. I will for sure need to hit the gym hard when I get home! Here is a video clip Ronn did of our trip so far.

Ronn and I had the most awesome day at the Vatican with a private tour given to us by our friend Loreto, compliments of our dear friend Valerio Ventura. Loreto is a camera man for the pope so he knows very well the Vatican and we got to visit the Sistine chapel and met father Bruno of the chapel Santanna, check out www.santanna.va which is a lovely private chapel for the citizens of Vatican city. Truly a world within a world Vatican city has so much history of course and it was quite a treat to see some of it privately. We also got to see the swiss guards who have been guarding the pope for 500 years and had a private tour of their quarters, which was quite interesting. It was becoming quite difficult to walk the streets of Rome with crowds of people recognizing Ronn and constantly asking for photos. Loreto then took us to a private restaurant for the most amazing lunch and Ronn and I headed back to the hotel because he is coming down with a slight cold. Because of this, we decided to decline our invitation to Italian actress Nancy Brilli’s home tonight and stayed in with a bottle of champagne to toast the new year. I wanted Ronn to rest because he has a full week of dance lessons before his first competition next week. I will post some photos and video soon as Ronn feels better and gives me something. Hope you all are having a wonderful new year!

Buon Anno!

Ronn has a full day of dance lessons and promos for Ballando con le stelle and then we will have a home cooked dinner with some friends. So far, Rome has been raining alot, but very romantic. We have officially started our ongoing honeymoon celebrating now three months of marriage on Christmas. Sara, Ronn’s dance partner is very nice and he is learning the quick step and the waltz right now. He has 10 dances to learn, so this is all very challenging for him. We are both learning Italian and he plans to say something on the show in Italian every week. I’m excited to see him in his first dance which will air Jan 9th. We visited the Vatican, but it was raining so much and there was too many people asking for a photo with Ronn that we will do a private tour of it later this week. Here is a little video of our visit to the Vatican.

Ronn and I had a nice relaxing day in Rome walking around the shops and having lunch at Babington’s a unique tea house near the spanish steps. We then visited the boutique of Laura Biagiotti and had an early dinner. It’s so nice to spend our first Christmas as husband and wife in such a romantic and beautiful city like Rome. We plan to now relax in our hotel room and watch a Christmas movie and tomorrow we will spend the day at the home of Laura Biagiotti. But, for now would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and hope Santa brings you all that you desire. Here is my little Christmas present to you of me singing “Santa Baby” with Johnny English playing piano.

Ronn and I both got a good night of sleep and feel much more rested today. He has a full day of photo shoots and dance lessons, but after today has the next four days off to relax and enjoy Rome. We have been invited to have Christmas dinner at fashion designer, Laura Biagiotti’s home and will take lots of video and photos of the sites. The sun is shining today after raining and the city looks beautiful. I plan on doing a bit of Christmas shopping tomorrow and will post my singing “Santa Baby” with Johnny English. It seems like Ronn is starting to enjoy the dance lessons somewhat, although challenging, he looks graceful and picks up on the steps rather quickly. I was very proud of him. Watching the other contestants, it is obviously a lot of hard work and everyone has some fear or something that they are trying to overcome. I think this will be a great event in Ronn’s life. We did our first lesson of Italian this morning and it felt good to get familiar with some basic words and phrases. I’m excited to spend this Christmas in Rome, it will no doubt be a special memory.

Our flight from LA to Frankfurt was pleasant and smooth, but it started snowing as soon as we landed, which caused several delays and cancellations of flights. So we were stuck at the airport lounge waiting for nearly 9 hours. Ronn of course had fans from Egypt, Sweden and Germany on hand asking for autographs and photos. But, the lounge was completely full and the desk had a long line of people waiting the whole night for flight changes. It looked as though we were for sure going to have to spend the night in Frankfurt. I guess luck was on our side because we had the last flight out and arrived in Rome at about 1am. Needless to say, Ronn and I both couldn’t wait to sleep and sleep we did. We woke up today at 5pm, so we slept for about 14 hours! We don’t plan on leaving the room until tomorrow morning and am now catching up on emails. Thank God for sleep, it felt so good to wake up rested. Will keep you guys posted on our adventure here in Roma, so check back often.

Okay after a stressful hectic and very exhausting week, Ronn and I made it to the airport only to be told our flight is 3 hours delayed. So we are resting comfortably in the lounge and catching up with emails, drinking bloody marys and trying to learn some Italian. Personally, I never have liked traveling around this time of the year because of all the bad weather, would like nothing better than to stay home in front of the fireplace and wrap presents. Needless to say I got no Christmas shopping done this year, barely got Christmas cards out, but I plan to catch up on that in Rome, as well as, learn some Italian and study for my real estate license, finish my next book and blog of course. The most important thing is that Ronn and I can finally relax at least for the next few hours and maybe catch up on movies while flying. Hope you all are traveling safe and get to your destinations in time for Santa’s arrival.

Ronn is appearing on Italy’s version of “Dancing with the Stars” and over the next three months will be making trips back and forth to Rome nearly every weekend. It will be a big challenge for him because he will also be doing B&B and practicing dance routines with his partner here at home. He was on the show in 2007 and did the “Tango.” Although, I thought he did a wonderful job, he had only a few hours to learn the dance, so it was alot of pressure on him and it isn’t something he most comfortable with like acting or singing. So I’m going with him for love and support this trip and it will be nice to celebrate our first Christmas and New Year there together as a married couple. Check out his Tango on the show from 2007

Tiger Woods

Seems everywhere you look these days all you hear about is Tiger Woods and his marriage issues. It’s really sad that we love to revel in other people’s misery, shortcomings or mistakes in life. No one should judge another unless you walk in their shoes and there’s not a damn person on the planet who has had the life and legacy of this athlete.

However, he’s a human being and none of us are perfect. Seems to me, the guy has been the picture perfect son, professional and family man with a gorgeous wife. So why would he cheat and why do we care so much? It’s probably because he’s been so perfect most of his life that he was so careless and human.

There isn’t anyone who is perfect on this planet. Look at the falls of ministers, political figures and picture perfect couples from the past who were also human. We as a society need to focus on who we are becoming instead of other’s miscomings.

Tiger’s wife is probably so embarrassed from all of the magnified gossip, but hopefully love and time will heal them from what we all know is human.

I wish we would all open our eyes and hearts as humans and embrace Tiger and his wife for what they must be going through instead of judging, gossiping and speculating on what these human beings will or won’t do under the circumstances. Haven’t you been in a situation similar at one time in your lives? Maybe you lied, cheated or stolen something and got caught. Did you learn from those mistakes or did you continue doing them? Did you feel sorrow, remorse or sadness for hurting someone you loved?
Are you human?

Take a moment to send Tiger Woods and his wife love and light for the sake of their children and know that we are all human.

Okay I’m finally getting around to Ebay and I apologize for how long it’s taken to get things going again, but for the next two weeks only Ronn and I both will be putting up some cool things with NO RESERVE, so check them out and start bidding. You can get Ronn’s scarf right now ! and his limited edition tour CD that features “Baby Come Back”, these are limited so when they are gone they are gone! If you haven’t read or purchased my book yet, now is the time. those are also limited for signatures, as I only have a few on hand to autograph. During Christmas through New Year’s we won’t be processing any orders because we will be out of town, so happy bidding for the next two weeks!

Saturday night was a emotional night for Peter and Ronn to join their original bandmate JC Crowley to play onstage with them. It was the first time in over 25 years. Due to the fact that JC had throat cancer and had a 20% chance of survival back in 1994, he’s a walking miracle. His wife had never seen him sing, “Baby Come Back” with the band, so this was indeed a very emotional evening for all of them to reunite. This was a tribute to legendary producer, Dennis Lambert, so many artists that Dennis worked with over the past 40 years came out to sing one or two of their hits. Some of those artists that shared the stage with PLAYER included, “The Commodores, Natalie Cole and Connie Stevens. We all celebrated after the show for a private party which included fans who flew in from Italy just to see Ronn! Our very own webmistress, Patti Myers was there to make sure the event was covered for the website. We both think this is just the start of something bigger for PLAYER and hope that JC and Peter will start writing together again soon.

Susan Flannery organized a beautiful wedding supper to celebrate our recent nuptials at the gorgeous Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. It was held in the private dining room off of the elaborate kitchen and guests included, John McCook and his lovely wife Laurette, Ian Buchanan, Katherine Kelly Lang and her husband Alex, Maria and Billy Bell and our gracious host Brad Bell and his wife Colleen. The menu was absolutely amazing and the private chef told us about each course before their presentation. We ended the evening wedding cake and more champagne. We have certainly had our share of that in the past few weeks, hahaha. Since this is Ronn’s second family, we were, needless to say, thrilled and grateful for this amazing opportunity to share our joy with them. Here is a clip of the evening.

Tonight Ronn and I attend the GQ Louis Vuitton Party in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive. It was a lovely party filled with yummy appetizers, Moet Chandon Champagne and lots of elite people in fashion and entertainment. We attended the party as in invite from my friend fashion designer Julio Rivera who designed the dress I was wearing. Ronn and I learned alot about Louis Vuitton and how the design has evolved over the past decade. They started out with suitcases and now has fashion, eyewear, jewelry and shoes to their brand. The owner also is affiliated with cosmetics, champagne and apparel. Of course he is French and it’s no wonder the champagne they were serving tonight was Moet Chandon. It was a terrific party and Ronn and I had a good time. The DJ played alot of Michael Jackson and was really into his job, so that added to a great ambiance.

family halloweenLast night the whole family got dressed up for Halloween parties. I was a devilish girl, Creason a cat, Calee “Little Red Riding Hood” and Ronn was a second mouse with very large ears. He’s been talking about being this second mouse ever since he heard the phrase, “The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.” So he put in these horrible looking teeth, wrote that phrase on a t-shirt with blood splatters and went around the neighborhood with me.Devilish Devin I had a devilish good time with him and was happy to see him bring that second mouse to life. This year was the first time Hef didn’t have his own Halloween party, seems the mansion is now being rented out for other’s to throw parties and Hef is just attending them now with a few of his close friends. Things change and now that I’m a married woman Devin weddingI must now stay closer to home for these times. It’s fun in our neighborhood, kids come from all over to see the decorations and trick o’ treat. Hope you guys had as much fun as we did!

I did a lot of cooking yesterday so this is a welcomed delight. I am still car shopping but have my eye on the BMW 328i convertible.BMW Right now I’m driving a rental Kia, hahaha. I can’t believe Halloween is around the corner and I’m not sure what I will dress up as this year. We have several parties to attend, so it should be fun, but it’s always a problem getting Ronn into a costume. With the wedding and family visiting I just haven’t had time to focus on costumes this year, so it may be a last minute thing to put something together. I really enjoy Sundays and just adore hanging out with my family or being alone with Ronn. We always have fun, so today should be a good one. I’m so happy everyone is enjoying the wedding album. It makes me happy to look at each and every picture and I can’t wait to see our wedding video! I feel very blessed, happy and content. Hope you all have an awesome Sunday with your family.

We then had a wonderful wedding reception thrown for us by our friends Bob and Kira Lorschccakecut2 copy It was also Kira’s birthday so we combined it with wedding cake compliments of my dear friend and bridesmaid Cindy Margolis and birthday ice cream, champagne, martinis and yummy appetizers. It was out by the pool and the weather was gorgeous. Many of Ronn’s B &; B cast and crew friends were there. I need to now take a break from too much champagne!

Do we feel different? No not really except for everyone called me Mrs. Moss. We felt married before and this was just an awesome party to celebrate with family and friends. We both were rather tired the first few days after the wedding and since we had Ronn’s relatives visiting all the way from down under, we didn’t want to run off on a honeymoon right away. Besides I know how much most of you would miss Ridge if he took off work right now. So I planned a wedding brunch the day after the wedding for everyone who stayed at our house.ronn and joan 2 There was so much wedding cake left over I shared it with some of our neighbors and then everyone decided to leave us alone for a few days. That was the best present of all because it was just so needed and appreciated. Not only did we catch up on alot of things at home, Ronn showered me with awesome cappucinos in the morning, candlelit dinners with champagne at night and roses that he cut from our garden, asking me everyday if his wife was happy and that she is. There is no place like home for us both and we are enjoying our new role together as husband and wife. We are having another wedding celebration this weekend for all of the B&B cast and crew hosted by our dear friends Kira and Bob LorshBob and Kira. It’s also Kira’s birthday so it should be a fun party. Ronn and I plan to be on a constant honeymoon, but will take an official one sometime next year. Our guests dined, danced and toasted us with lots of love and affection. We were not nervous at all and throughly enjoyed every moment of the day, from getting ready with the bridal party, to taking photos and laughing all night long. I feel so blessed and blissful today and can’t wait to see the photos and video. We soaked in every moment of the day and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. There was a wedding brunch at home with Ronn’s brother and cousins from Australia who are visiting and we are still eating wedding cakewedding cake and drinking champagne today, not wanting the feeling to end. I told Ronn I want our marriage to be like this every day of our lives and if it ever gets off course, we will try extra hard to get right back on it, because it was simply a dream come true for me to have my fairy tale come true.

FIRE/CALIFORNIAWe appreciate all your concerns for our safety due to the fires surrounding us. But please note LA is very spread out and it always looks much worst than it is on the news. They tend to zoom in on what’s burning, which makes it look like LA is on fire and in fact it’s a small area. You can rest assure I would post asap if there was a reason to be concerned. We cannot smell smoke where we are, which is good and it seems they have gotten a better handle on it over night while the weather was cooler. In California we are always at risk during the Santa Anas season with winds and hot temperatures and a brush fires could occur anywhere. But that’s the price we pay for having sunshine most of the time I guess. It truly is a pain in the butt when these fires break out and a good reason to be concerned for the safety of animals and structures, but as you can see LA firefighters are very good and have had lots of experience fighting these fires. They really are heroes and brave, amazing men. It’s suppose to be very hot today, but not as windy as yesterday and cooling down tomorrow into the weekend, so I’m optimistic that this fire will be contained by tomorrow.
