Player had a good time playing at the first annual Canada Fest in Palm Springs. There were alot of food and clothing vendors, as well as a fashion show that I participated in, along with my pals Robin Krasny and Eden Ayers. Player’s very own webmistress Patti Meyers came all the way from New Jersey to party with us. Before  their concert,  A funny thing happen to Ronn after I left him alone in the hotel room before I went to get ready for the fashion show. Apparently, Ronn was putting the room service trays outside our door and locked himself out in his underwear! He said he luckily found a bellman that helped him back inside the room and the guy  was trying not to laugh. Can you imagine if he had been naked?

Given that Player is getting more and more in demand for gigs all over the place I came up with a cool idea of starting a fan club for them and along with Eden, Patti and Robin we will launch, “The Player Angels.” You can join us and have your photo featured on the Player website. Details are coming soon, but your membership gets you a sexy Player T-shirt like ours, a Free photo of the band and 10% off future merchandise, as well as, chances to win prizes and back stage passes. As a member you will know FIRST when and where they are playing next! So join us for the next concert, maybe in your city and be a “PLAYER ANGEL!”

Ronn & Peter Beckett

“Baby Come Back” has stood the test of time for over 35 years in commercials, movies and TV shows as one of the most recognized songs from the 70’s. It knocked “How Deep Is Your Love” by the Bee Gees  out of number one and remains a classic rock song that most people on the planet know. Written by Peter Beckett and JC Crowley, “Baby Come Back” has a new version on the new PLAYER CD that will be released in February.

Spacemonk aka Johnny English

But for now you can get the new version of “Baby Come Back” along with “Addiction” and “Too Many Reasons” now on itunes. I personally love “Too Many Reasons” which will be the title of the CD and is perfect title to Ronn’s departure from B&B. Many people do not know how talented PLAYER is and what a great songwriter Peter Beckett has always been, but I’m sure this CD will speak volumes about that.

Craig Pilo

Every song is amazing and the three songs that are out now are only a sample of the entire album. So it was only fitting that PLAYER did a music video for the single, “I Will” that will be released in February. It was directed by Devin DeHaven, funny huh? Devin is a Greek hottie who has quite a reputation as a a music director of videos and documentaries. He just did one for Crosby Stills and Nash, so the boys were in good hands. Devin’s wife Anabel did makeup and was so beautiful and sweet that I hope to have her do a shoot for me in the future.

Rob Math

It was a fun and enjoyable day for the band. I always adore seeing Spacemonk(Johnny English) Craig Pilo and Rob Math and the synergy they create together with Peter and Ronn.

Peter & Ronn

A tour is being formulated and more press is coming on the new CD that I’m sure you guys will absolutely love as much as I do. Too bad we all have to wait for the release, but the record company needs time to put their video and press kit together for the worldwide release and tour that is being formulated. In the meantime, Ronn is sifting through numerous offers around the world for movies and TV, so you will be seeing him on your screens in numerous ways soon!

I can’t tell you all how crazy the past two weeks have been for Ronn and me both, physically and emotionally. It’s not so easy being the wife of the most beloved man that we all have love, fantasized and grown up with. Believe me I’m feeling your love, pain and adoration for my hubby. Now you know why I frickin married him!
What you guys don’t know yet is more of what I do know and that’s Ronn. So as you say goodbye to Ridge and remember I feel ya, you are saying hello to Ronn, someone that you don’t know as well. Ronn has always been extremely private about who he truly is and all you really saw was Ridge and how magical was that?
It’s been magical for me a fan and viewer for the eight years that I’ve been with Ronn. How could I not follow B&B and support my hubby? I was already watching “The Young and The Restless” for years and it was my favorite because my mom use to watch it. I remembered meeting Ronn at a party when I first won “Star Search” and he was just becoming “Ridge Forrester.” So although I didn’t follow the story from day one like a lot of you did, I can see how Ridge has become a personal friend, family member or fantasy guy for many of you. So the loss of that feels like a death. There will be a hole in your heart to lose this everyday ritual that has now been 2 and a half decades. That’s huge folks and around the world, so I feel you!!!! I also feel my husband, his heart, soul and talents of other areas that you don’t know and would never know if all he ever showed you was Ridge! Have you been disappointed for all these years with him thus far?
What makes you think the best is not yet to come? Why do we always jump to the negative side of the situation, why not look at the positives? Let’s see, you now can be with Ronn more here on Ronn’s Garage, onTwitter and Facebook, remember B&B took up way too much of his time before? Try learning and memorizing so much dialogue! Sometimes he was so talked out that he had no interest in talking to me when he got home.
I understood, but wished I had more of him just like you guys do with Ridge. His children would sometimes have to hang out at the set with him just to even see their daddy because he devoted so much time to Ridge. His passion as a musician, father, and friend took a back seat to Ridge for 25 years. That’s a lifetime to devote to anything and do it as well as Ronn played and kept the world hooked on Ridge Forrester.
There is a going to a hole in your heart forever for that, as well as a hole in his heart for the amazing cast and crew he grew to love as a family. It breaks his heart to leave them behind, but sometimes endings are indeed new beginnings that will bring us all even closer. Ronn now has freedom to fly, shine, sing, dance, visit and share more of who he really is as a person and I think you will fall in love all over again, just like I did.
Hell we have been married twice now and it’s only been three years since my last one! We are sharing that with you on this coming episode of Ronn’s Garage and this is very personal coming from Ronn. You will see a side to him that only the cast, crew, myself and his band know already. Just like your voices ringing around the world on his/mine Facebook and Twitter since the news broke. Shows the producers and Hollywood something that you guys have known for 25 years already, Ridge/Ronn is loved and adored by practically the entire planet! It doesn’t matter what it is you just want to see him. And always there’s more to a person that just what you’ve grown to know and love already. I think you’re gonna go on a roller coaster ride now with Ronn Moss that will take you places, Ridge Forrester never would or could. You have already gotten a to know us as a couple due to the wonders of social media, gotta love that! But, now you get to really do that with Ronn and still see him, communicate with him, follow him and be with him on this upcoming exciting journey that we want to take you all on.
Even the die hard 25 year old fan is gonna want to take this journey with us. I promise you once Ronn speaks to you about his feelings you will all understand completely. Our fantasy guy Ridge Forrester will be busy for a while on his honeymoon with his destiny Brooke, while Ronn and Devin hang out with Katherine Kelly Lang in my kitchen cooking! I’m for one am looking forward to cooking with Kelly in ‘Ronn’s Garage” soon. So keep retweeting to your followers your favorite comments on twitter and keep the conversation going on what you want from Ronn now. I think you all can see he’s so much more than Ridge.
However, you must speak up now and you can and will be heard! Facebook his page your likes, comments and shares on what you want from him. He’s listening and loves you all so very much. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Ronn or working with him knows this. I’m just trying to heal our wounds from this car accident and our hearts emotionally from the sad goodbye to Ridge. But you see I’m more excited than anyone for you guys who don’t know Ronn to know and meet him. And I don’t think you will be disappointed, but enlightened to much much more than you could have ever dreamed.

We are proud of this month’s Ronn’s Garage “Summer Special” that is like 3 shows in one. Since we were in Italy for B&B’s remote shoot and PLAYER’s publicity tour, Ronn decided that he would document the trip. There was a small jam party at our house before we left for Italy, so Ronn included that in the special also and it is the 1st segment. The 2nd segment is the behind the scenes of the B&B shoot and the upcoming 3rd segment is our spontaneous vow renewal in romantic Puglia. We are very happy to see that so many of you are enjoying Ronn’s Garage and stats are showing that it is a huge hit. We welcome your comments and suggestions on making it better with each and every show. Ronn is truly enjoying producing and editing each new show and wants to know what you think. His goal is make the interviews moving and personal, the music fun and to make you feel like you are there with us when we travel. The next upcoming Ronn’s Garage guests will include, Katherine Kelly Lang, Australian artist Brett Livingston Strong and “Quiet Riot” drummer Frankie Banali. So please check out Ronn’s Garage and spread the word that more is coming!

After spending two weeks in beautiful Italia, it was good to sleep in my own bed. However, the jet lag this time really hit me hard and took a good week to get back on track. I think it’s because we barely recouped from Bora Bora and then took off to Italy. So it feels like we have been traveling for months. I felt disoriented and then had a bit of a health scare when we arrived home. I needed to rest and totally get back to normal. I even made a mistake on a spice order and Ebay order by sending the orders to the wrong people! This is something that I just don’t do and I guess it didn’t help that they both had the same name! Nevertheless this is the time of year that starts to get even busier for Ronn and I. Summer parties, events, charities, award shows, kid related things and friends visiting help make our weekends jam packed. I’m not complaining because we have a fun and full life, it’s just hard to keep up with it all sometimes. And having a quiet day with nothing to do is always rare and appreciated. This past week two of my longtime girlfriends are in town visiting. One from Houston, Laura and one from Chicago, Stacey and both are always fun to catch up with . We find ourselves talking our heads off about old times til the wee hours of the morning and having lots of laughs. It was also my friend Lori’s birthday so we celebrated by taking her limo to the “American Idol Finale” compliments of Aerosmith’s drummer Joey Kramer and his wife Linda. Poor Ronn had a long day at work, so long that he slept in his dressing room due to an early day the next day. So Lori got to be my date and we had a blast with terrific seats right up front and center. Then last night my girlfriend Stacey visiting from Chicago invited us to “The Mint” to see some live music which is always something Ronn likes. Turns out it was a small standing room only venue and Johnny Depp was playing drums! Johnny Depp on Drums is just something you don’t see or expect and I must say he was pretty good! We were with drummer Frankie Banali and his girl Regina Russell so it was a surprise treat for them. As exciting as my week as been so far, it’s not over. We still have the kids coming over today and a couple of BBQ parties to attend so by the time Memorial day is over, I’ll need another few days to recover to get back on track!  Don’t get me wrong, I look forward to each and every day that is spent healthy and enjoying life so that I can blog about it and share it with you!

PLAYER is releasing a new album in Italy and doing press to promote it for a possible European tour. So Peter Beckett is coming to Italy with us tomorrow for some live TV appearances in Milan and Rome. The new album is entitled, “Addiction” and is on the prestigious Frontier’s label. We are very excited about the new released and I’m so happy they used the photo that I took of them! Looking forward to all the exciting things that are happening for PLAYER in the coming year. I know how many fans want to see them play in Europe and now that’s looking like a possibility.  Check out the press release here. Player PR

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LZ0CeB6n80] Ronn opened the show with “Born In The USA” and danced the Quick Step with Sara DiVaira in this opening sequence which was quite nice. We are looking forward to visiting our second home, Italy in the next couple weeks when B&B films in Pulgia. More exciting news coming soon!!

Ronn’s Garage is finally here!  We are both excited to have you cook with me at home, watch Ronn interview celebrity guests and even come to some of our parties! Ronn has been working diligently on this for a few months now and his first celebrity guest is Lorenzo Lamas. In “Ronn’s Garage” you get to see Ronn being Ronn and having a great time. In this first video, Ronn chose to do all the filming and editing himself  to kind of set the tone for future shows and you all know what a perfectionist he is so it can only get better with time. There is so much more he wants to bring to Ronn’s Garage with each and every show. Lorenzo was such a great guest that he has a two part show. In the first show you get a better look at his sense of humor and how down to earth he really is. In part two you will get to see Lorenzo sing with Ronn and cook with me! Ronn’s Garage is a place to really get to see Ronn at home doing what he loves to do, playing music and having fun with his friends. I’m happy also to share some of my recipes and entertain you with some of our jam parties. So we hope you enjoy “Ronn’s Garage” and let us know what you think. You may access “Ronn’s Garage” also in  Spanish, Italian, French and German by going  directly to Ronn’s Garage URL and click on the flags at the top of the “Ronn’s Garage” home page. “Ronn’s Garage” is  also on Ronn’s Website shortly. I think “Ronn’s Garage” will be a chance to really get to know Ronn and have some fun!

On August 23, 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and devastated that region with 175 mph winds that left over 1836 people dead and cost over $100 billion dollars in damages. Many people lost their homes and relocated. This was one of the deadliest and costliest natural disasters in US history. Since then many people have been able to return to their home town thanks to the efforts of the “Make It Right” foundation and Brad Pitt’s passion for New Orleans. The first star studded fund raiser for “Make It Right” was hosted in New Orleans by Brad Pitt, Randy Jackson and Ellen DeGeneres. They showed us the progress that is being made with Green energy efficient homes that has enabled many native Louisianians to return home. This amazing technology has helped many other displaced people all over the world with these kinds of homes and I’m happy to be a part of this with “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning.” It seems the region is coming back and will be stronger and better as time goes on. We are very proud to have participated in the first gala for “Make It Right.” All the performances by Sheryl Crow, Rhianna, Snoop Dog, Seal and Kanye West were amazing and the show will be broadcast later. The gala was totally first class and one of the most fun charity events we have ever attended. Ronn chatted with Portia DeRossi as I re connected with Sean Penn and Randy Jackson, who is from my home town of Baton Rouge. We had the best Cajun food prepared by Emeril and surprise appearances by Football hero Drew Brees and Dr. Drai. There was an open bar and the party went on all night long, so needless to say we didn’t want to miss any of it. By the end of the evening, Ronn was hanging with Jamie Foxx and Rhianna, while I partied with my home girls. One of my first college roommates came to visit me from Baton Rouge. We had not seen each other in 24 years! But that’s okay, because those are my life long friends that I cherish and we know it doesn’t matter if we don’t see each other, we are always there in each other’s heart. That’s how we are in Louisiana. If you are a friend, you are family and the passage of time just doesn’t matter.  It made me so proud to see how much New Orleans loves Ronn as walked around the French Quarter listening to Jazz, stopping for Beignets and eating lots of gumbo.  The culture is still there and the pride of Louisiana is still there, hell it’s a miracle that the French Quarter is still there! When Katrina hit New Orleans I cried and I wanted to do something to help rebuild it, thus “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” was born. I’m happy to see there are others that feel as passionate about New Orleans as me and it’s amazing to the see the progress when we all do a little bit to help. We now have several people helping us get our spice into restaurants and supermarkets. It made us so happy to be able to  donated 1000 spices to the gala’s gift bags and we helped to raise over $14,000!  That was small compared to other sponsors like Google, but we will most certainly be back next year bigger and better. Thank you to everyone who helped and participated.  We are the spice that’s “Making It Right” in New Orleans so please spread the word and help us to continue.[wpvideo J1rs8eC0]

When it comes to birthdays, Ronn is not traditional at all. He doesn’t like the fuss and really doesn’t like birthday cake. It’s hard to surprise him because he hates surprises and wants to know what’s going on. This was a big birthday and I wanted to have something extra special for him, but due to his crazy work schedule and the fact that it was also a big birthday for Creason the week before, we just decided to combine them with a low key BBQ and few neighbors and friends. This is just so Ronn and I just gave him exactly what he wanted this year. Our neighbor Sue made a delicious carrot cake, which is the only cake that Ronn likes and our neighbor Bill was awesome on the Grill with his beer can chicken. I cooked up some red beans and rice in honor of Mardi Gras along with some various appetizers. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day out by the pool and later Peter Beckett and Ronn did some acoustic music in the garage with “Quiet Riot” drummer Frankie Banali joining in. Our dear friend Julian Jackson filmed the whole party and we will have a edit of it to post soon. This really cheered Ronn up from the saddness of so many amazing talents that have passed away recently. Davy Jones, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, to name a few have passed way to early for us. It has brought new meaning to every birthday for Ronn. Even though he is in amazing shape and very healthy, he realizes each birthday is another gift and another reason to celebrate still being here. His mom died at age 63 when he was just 18. So for Creason to turn 18 and he 60, hit an emotional milestone for him and the importance for close friends and family around him is all he wanted this birthday. Because Ronn is such a popular guy we cannot simply have one birthday party. We must celebrate all month long with various friends to really let him feel close to those he love and adore. So this is just the first for a few more birthday celebrations. Our friend and Australian artist Brett Livingston Strong who painted Michael Jackson gave Ronn a very special painting of a Geisha girl that Michael Jackson drew. Only two exist and they belong now to Ronn and Michael’s mother Katherine. Today Ronn went to a celebrity party at “The House of Blues” in Hollywood for a live Facebook streaming concert of the “Blues Brothers” celebrating 30 years since John Belushi’s death. I watched the stream from our bedroom in my PJs and really enjoyed it. Ronn hung out with Dan Ackroyd, Jim Belushi, Director John Landis and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. He’s now very excited at the possibility of PLAYER doing a concert like this in the near future. I know for his many International fans that this will be a big treat. Who knows maybe you can join his birthday festivities live with us as we continue to celebrate throughout this month!  So I want to personally  thank you very much for all your gifts and birthday blessings for our extraordinary Ronn that we all adore so much. I know we would all love to have him around another 60 years!

Tomorrow Ronn and I will do a segment for “Inside Edition” on our friend Davy Jones. We met Davy and his adorable wife Jessica when we all appeared on “The Newlywed Game” a couple of  years ago. Ronn and I were only married 4 days when we did that show and Jessica and Davy had been married a few months. I couldn’t believe we were on “The Newlywed Game” with such a teen idol like Davy Jones. Hell I remember having a crush on him like millions of other girls when I watched “The Monkees” everyday after school. I remember Marcia Brady wishing she could have him sing at her prom on “The Brady Bunch.” Davy Jones was such a part of the innocence that represented our youth. Even though Davy Jones was English, he represented a huge part of American culture and what America’s first real television teen idol was and always will be, fresh, exciting and innocent. When we heard of Davy’s death, we lost a piece of our innocence and it broke our hearts because he was just too young to leave us. I remember Davy being every bit of what I thought he should be; sweet, funny, lovable and a joy to be around. Ronn and I spent the whole day laughing, drinking champagne and feeling like we were friends forever that day on “The Newlywed Game” set; and all I can think about now is what a wonderful spirit he was, and how much we will all miss him. Our hearts go out to his lovely wife Jessica. They were such a cute a couple. Ronn and I feel honored to have known him and his memory will be forever in our hearts. It’s weird that I was just watching back to back reruns of “The Monkees”a few days ago and thinking of Davy. To learn of his passing was so shocking and makes you stop and appreciate these precious moments in life.  “The Monkees” song, “I’m a believer” will forever ring in my mind of a time when life was fresh and innocent and Davy Jones will always be remembered in our hearts as part of that. “Inside Edition” will air March 2, 2012 at 3:30pm PST on Channel 9. Please check your local listings.

Like many of you today I watched the moving church service of Whitney Houston’s funeral on TV. I’m sure like many of you tears were shared and memories of that voice rang in your favorite songs. I felt close to her even though I never met her. She was the same age as me and I remember vividly the moment she came on the scene back in 1985. That was a special year for me as well. I related to her beautiful smile and her vivacious energy. She was one of a kind and such a beauty. Someone every little girl looked up to hope to be. She was a model, a musical talent and an actress, she had it all. We watched her grow, mature, get married, have a baby and fall from grace. But, we never stopped loving her and wishing for her to overcome her demons and make it back to those glory days. Everyone loved Whitney! She had that spark, that magical thing that you can’t describe, but everyone knew she was a shining star. Like Michael Jackson she was taken from us too soon, but will live on in our hearts and in song. I had the honor of watching her perform at the 1986 American Music Awards in person. She opened the show and you were mesmerized by this amazing talented beautiful woman. Our prayers go out to her daughter Bobbi Kristina and even though Whitney has gone to heaven, she will never be forgotten. Whitney we will always love you!

Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning is now a part of Brad Pitt’s charity A Night To Make It Right that is helping to rebuild homes in New Orleans. On March 10th, Brad is hosting a star studded gala with Ellen Degeneres for the “Night To Make It Right Gala.” Performers include, Rhianna, Sheryl Crow, Randy Jackson and Seal. We are donating 1000 spices and have helped raise $10,000 so far. So we want to kick this awesome event off with a bang and get you guys involved to help us help New Orleans come back stronger than ever! We know this is just the start of something big and we know how much you love Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning, so now you have a chance to win a case of spices or a ticket to the “Night To Make It Right” after party, or a luncheon with Ronn and I!! The contest will end on Ronn’s birthday March 4th and we will announce the winners on our website that week! You must be responsible for your own transportation to the venue. Just donate $50 to enter to win a case of spices, $100 to win a ticket to the after party or $250 to win a luncheon with us! You may paypal your donations to devronnenterprises@yahoo.com. We will notify you by email and post on our website after March 4, 2012.  We are so excited to participate in this awesome event and would love your support.

Michael Moebius & DevRonn
Brequet Party

Ronn and I had a fun time with our German artist friend Michael Moebius at the Breguet Watch party in Beverly Hills last night.  We then had dinner at “Housewives of Beverly Hills”  Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, “Villa Blanca.”

Michael & Ronn

Whenever Michael comes to visit, we have 3D photos to look forward to and as you guys know, Ronn is a camera buff. So he and Michael always have a fun time.

Seeing Hef and old friends like musician, Ray Anthony is always special. Speaking of pictures, Ronn and I are gearing up to take lots of photos of each other soon.
Since I don’t model anymore, we must find the time and energy to do it. I’m really excited about this new year as it is off to a great start.
Ronn is working on an exciting new project that will be music related and I’ll let him tell you all about that later when it launches.
I am super busy already with real estate clients and trying to find the time to finish writing my next book, cookbook and working on a screenplay. As always, I will keep you informed on what’s happening here first.
Dev & Ronn

Ronn and I had fun attending PLAYER drummer, Craig Pilo’s wedding reception to his adorable Brazilian bride, Angela. They have been married a year and finally got around to a wedding reception. Speaking of weddings, you guys have to view this funny video that Craig did on a Wedding Band Drummer You guys will laugh your asses off!

Ronn, Spacemonk aka Johnny Englis and Craig

As always it was awesome to hang out with Spacemonk aka Johnny English. The food was amazing and catered by Pierre’s Catering who also owns Planet Sushi. I fell in love with Pierre and his creative style of presenting appetizers that I may have him present my gumbo for our next jam party. In addition to Craig wedding reception, Ronn and I were invited by stunt coordinator,

Katherine Kelly Lang & Wally Crowder

Wally Crowder to attend the Stuntwoman’s Awards.  I got to meet

Vivica Fox & Dev

Vivica Fox whom I found, charming and funny. I’ve always  admired her acting and loved her in “Kill Bill.” Ronn was a presenter along with Katherine Kelly Lang who joined us at the luncheon.  So now we are getting ready for cooler days as fall and Halloween are just around the corner.  I think most of you know by now that  Ronn is always his happiest playing music, so I’d like to plan a small acoustic jam party as soon as he has a break from B&B.  Seems this time of the year is always so full because B&B does alot of holiday gatherings on camera, which entails long days because the whole cast is usually included. Poor Ronn had to sleep in his dressing room one long night because of the drive and another early call the next day. He was just exhausted and rightfully so.These long hours of him puts a damper on me nailing him down to autograph items for Ebay, give me photos to blog or just have a date night with my hubby. So having fun and rare moments with dear friends, family or just each other is totally relished and appreciated.  So in appreciation, We want to thank our friend Robin Krasny for the is awesome video of  PLAYER in Vero Beach recently.  We had so much fun there and it shows when you watch this video. Robin really took care of us and we are grateful to have this fun video to share with you!  Now that the holidays are just around the corner. I have our wonderful DevRonn  fanclub president Gea helping me with Ebay items for you guys just in time for Christmas! She has been a great help to me in posting items from Ronn and me personalized to your desire. I’m thinking of parting with my computer, Playboy collectibles, clothing, shoes and jewelry. I’m sure I’ll eventually get Ronn to clean out his closet and give you a scarf or underwear, just kidding!  He may give you one of his precious jackets, pillow cases, posters, T-shirts  or a pair of his shoes or maybe his ipad?  Whatever I get out of him, it’s yours! Check out Ronn\’s Ebay  or Devin\’s Ebay stores for items that are now posted. Auction items are coming soon!

DevRonn

Since we returned from PLAYER performing in Vero Beach it’s been non-stop for Ronn on B&B and me so I haven’t had time to blog until now. We had so much fun and want to thank our dear friend Robin Krasny for taking such good care of us with healthy food, wine and video taping the band. Ronn will be editing that footage soon to post something for you guys to see. I also want to thank my amazing friend Laura Poe for the wonderful pics she took onstage. It was nice to see some of my dearest friends like JoNell Gay and her daughter Isabelle who was born on my birthday. It had been years since I’d seen them, so it was very special for me.

Rob Math, Peter Beckett, Ronn Moss

The show was fantastic and we hope to have many more PLAYER concerts coming up! Our anniversary was certainly a memorable one. Thanks to Robin we stayed at the beautiful Vero Beach Hotel and Spa overlooking the beach.

Ronn, me, Peter and Eden

We hung out with Peter Beckett and Eden Ayers and had a fun time until I slipped and fell and hit my chin in the pool, ouch! I was bruised and sore for a few days and jaw hurt badly. Luckily I’m feeling better now, but I couldn’t chew on one side  of my mouth for a few days. The other day Ronn and I attended  a fundraiser for the Humane Society. An invite from our friends Bob and Kira Lorsch.  Many thanks to Ms. Lois Pope who gave 1 million dollars to such a worthy cause.

Lois Pope, her son, Ronn and me and Kira Lorsch

Remember I did a bunny PSA for them. I  was happy to hear that many bunnies have gotten adopted since.  Yesterday I did my first personal appearance in 5 years and saw some wonderful Playmates there, such as Cathy St. George, Corinna Harney, Ava Fabian and Teri Harrison.  It was so nice to see many of you again after so many years and I do hope to do more in future if my schedule permits. Ronn was so sweet to help me set up my booth and lug all my merchandise, as well as, take photos with me and some of you guys. I’m now resting today and catching up on various writing projects. Looking forward to fall and cooler weather so that I can cook some of my soup recipes! check out this PLAYER video. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/user/devronnfilms?feature=mhum#p/a/u/0/uLx0Ub9FfAI]

PLAYER is performing with Bad Company and other groups in Vero Beach, Florida on Saturday September 24th and we are so excited. Our 2nd year wedding anniversary is September 25th so we are staying to celebrate it there. Some of my Louisiana girlfriends will be at the concert so I’m super excited to party with them. If you are around the area and want to see PLAYER this is your chance for a super fun weekend of great music! Ronn is looking forward to meeting many of you there and so am I so I hope if you are around you will come by and see us!

I never thought I’d be saying this about my friend Prince in concert, but last night sucked a big one! Now I’ve seen him many times before during his “Purple Rain” tour and after so I always thought he was more than worth the price of a ticket. But last night was a complete joke. Ronn had never seen him and because of that I wanted the best seats possible. Also thought maybe he’d see me in the first row and I’d get to reconnect with him and say hello. Well the stage was shaped in that symbol he uses and was built so high that even the people that spent $2000 a ticket for the VIP sections had trouble seeing the stage. I mean I”ve never seen anything like this ever. Maybe you’d get a glimpse of him when he came around the stage, but for the most part you had to stand and strain your neck to see any action since he was in the middle of it most of the time. We had what I thought would be primo seats in the first row center that turned into the back of the drummer’s head! None of the floor seats allowed you to really get a good view of the stage. The center upper sections which were much cheaper were way better because not only could you see the stage, you could see the large monitor screens of the performances. Chaka Khan opened the show and Larry Graham was added to the NPG band and a couple solos with Prince and looked like they would be great if only we could hear it?  The lighting was also bad throughout the show sometimes there was no light at all on him. The sound wasn’t great either as it had a lot of echo and all you could really hear was bass in our section on the floor. All in all not one of this finer moments. Certainly not worth the money people paid for what they thought they were getting. You left there feeling totally ripped off and royally disappointed. I’ve always known Prince to be a perfectionist, especially in concert! So this was such a surprise to see happen with Ronn of all people. We both were so looking forward to seeing the show and I just couldn’t believe Prince would allow tickets to be sold to die hard fans in this crappy way. I’m speaking out so that you know not to waste your money on floor seats period. Best to get  upper center seats and at least see the stage and possibly hear some of the music. Ronn and I were so turned off that I don’t think we will want to see another concert ever again. He thought it was actually the worst concert he’d ever seen and I thought that was ironic because Prince was always the best concert I’d had ever seen, but last night I had to agree with him as I think everyone that had floor seats would also.  I think Prince would have been as awesome as usual if only we could have seen and heard him!

Rob Math, Ronn Moss, Peter Beckett and Johnny English of PLAYER

We kicked off daylight’s savings time in Palm Springs with PLAYER performing for a private affair at the PGA West Golf’s 25 anniversary party. The boys were awesome and Johnny English sported a new look! Johnny is always changing his looks and it’s like he’s a different person every gig. We all love Johnny! Peter Beckett and Rob Math were amazing on the guitar and drummer Michael Taylor had a groovy beat that kept everyone dancing all night long. Hubby of course had a blast and I got a little drunk, which isn’t like me. We drove down with our pals Wally and Lori Crowder and started drinking at lunch with cocktails upon arrival, wine at dinner and martini’s at party! I have always been a lightweight with liquor so by the end of the evening was toast! The boys are getting offers for other gigs and we are trying to juggle them with Ronn’s busy schedule as usual. So I will keep you posted on when and where you can see PLAYER next! Don’t forget to subscribe and comment on our Devronnfilms youtube channel to win a FREE PLAYER T-shirt! We will be giving that away to celebrate Spring at the end of this month! Devronnfilms youtube channel

We hope you all are having as much fun this holiday season as we are having. It’s such an awesome time of the year. A time to reflect on the past year with family and friends and look forward to the future year with hope and anticipation. I love to cook a turkey and make the house as festive as possible. Ronn enjoys playing the guitar and singing with the band and friends visiting. This year we are thrilled to just stay home and enjoy the simple pleasures like trimming the tree with the kids and a few friends. We are also excited about our appearance in the Hollywood Christmas Parade that will air on December 10th. PLAYER did an awesome performance in it and Ronn, Creason, Calee and I get to ride on a float. There are numerous Christmas parties we are attending and I will throw my annual girls, “Potluck Christmas” with all my gorgeous girlfriends. Hope you are enjoying the Happy Christmas video and will spread it around. I did the  fancy camera work and it was the song the band originally wanted to sing in the Hollywood Christmas Parade. PLAYER \”Happy Christmas\”

Ronn and I had a blast at the “Senior Prom Revisited” in Palm Springs. PLAYER was a an honored guest and performed a few songs.

All the band members brought their wives along for this charity event and had a blast. Peter even had a good time with Eden Ayers and Charlie Chaplin.

Peter Beckett

My pal Alana Curry and her boyfriend came along and had a blast.

Later we went to the home of Artist Christina De Musee’ who is a very colorful character.

Palm Springs seems to love PLAYER and they will be performing on a regular basis starting in Jan 2011 on Saturday nights.

They are also putting together a tour with America and Little River Band and will be doing the Hollywood Christmas Parade that will air on CBS.

Right now we are working on new cool PLAYER merchandise and will have more news about appearances, maybe in your area, soon!

The band really rocked their last night in Palm Springs and have been asked to perform at a  prestigious country club’s anniversary party in March.  More appearances are sure to be announced  later as they are confirmed.

We would like to graciously thank Bette King productions for taking such great care of us and all the fans who came out to support PLAYER!

Our rock and roll band, PLAYER, is performing only 2 more engagements at the Cascade Room of the Spa Resort and Casino in Palm Springs. This coming Thursday, October 28, and the following Thursday, November 4th. We’re having a great time doing this gig and the band is TIGHT!  Come join us there. Lets have some fun.
Here’s a little snippit of what we did last week.  Love ya, Ronn[wpvideo 82UXl6cV]

It was an invite only evening for high rollers, press and VIPs at the Cascade lounge and a packed house to see the Classic rock 70s band PLAYER perform hits like “Baby Come Back,” “This Time I’m In It for Love,” and “It’s For You” Thursday night and boy did they rock it. Original band members Peter Beckett and Ronn Moss were joined by Johnny English on Keyboards, Rob Math on guitar and Craig Pilo on drums. The sound took you back in time and made you wish you were in high school again. Of course I’ve heard them rehearse numerous times in my garage and cooked them many meals in the process, but this was the first time I’d seen them perform their entire set in concert and I must say they rocked the house! The cool thing about PLAYER is that they sound just like their album and are all amazing musicians. PLAYER also has great songs of today like “Religion and Wildside that totally kick ass!   I really recommend you take advantage of this opportunity to see them in an intimate setting as seats are limited for the next three Thursdays. There is already talk of moving them to a much larger venue and expanding them with a national and International tour in the coming year. So this may be one of only times to get to see them up close and personal. Click here for ticket info and reserve your seats now! PLAYER TICKET INFO

PLAYER has been rehearsing for the Blue Ash Festival in Ohio this Saturday August 28th, so if you haven’t gotten your tickets, g0 here for details .Blue Ash Festival info

They are smoking hot and Rob Math is unbelievable on the guitar! Johnny English rocks it on keyboards and Craig Pilo beats the hell out of those drums. Lead vocalists Peter Beckett and Ronn Moss prove that they can still do those harmonies that brings you back in time and rock it with the best of them! This is a concert you don’t want to miss! They will be playing hits, like, “This Time I’m In It for Love” and “Baby Come Back.” I can attest to the fact that they sound better than ever and if you haven’t had the privilege of seeing them live, now is your chance! With Ronn’s crazy work schedule at B & B, it may be a while before another performance is available. So go see the boys and tell me what you think!

We kicked off our first dinner/movie night with great success. Ronn and I have a 12 seat movie theater and we love to watch movies with the girls. So far, the kids have used the theater to entertain their friends with movies more than us!  So this marks the first time in the three years we have lived in our home that we have filled our movie theater. As you know, Ronn’s busy schedule has made it nearly impossible to entertain that much and now that we have some time, we wanted to share our passion for movies with our friends. So we started with the band and their wives, along with a few dear friends to watch one of our favorite movies, “Arthur” with Dudley Moore. I cooked red beans and rice, Cajun jambalaya pasta, along with  salad, fresh fruit, baked cookies, strawberry cheesecake and wine to make sure the boys were happy enough to play a few songs. I now call the garage the “Moss Lounge” cause that what it feels like in there.
We were all dancing to the music the band was playing and having a blast. After the movie, we hung out around the firepit and told funny stories before calling it a night. I think this will be the start of other smaller gatherings that we will do on an ongoing basis now. I’m already planning the next one in July!
