Do we feel different? No not really except for everyone called me Mrs. Moss. We felt married before and this was just an awesome party to celebrate with family and friends. We both were rather tired the first few days after the wedding and since we had Ronn’s relatives visiting all the way from down under, we didn’t want to run off on a honeymoon right away. Besides I know how much most of you would miss Ridge if he took off work right now. So I planned a wedding brunch the day after the wedding for everyone who stayed at our house. There was so much wedding cake left over I shared it with some of our neighbors and then everyone decided to leave us alone for a few days. That was the best present of all because it was just so needed and appreciated. Not only did we catch up on alot of things at home, Ronn showered me with awesome cappucinos in the morning, candlelit dinners with champagne at night and roses that he cut from our garden, asking me everyday if his wife was happy and that she is. There is no place like home for us both and we are enjoying our new role together as husband and wife. We are having another wedding celebration this weekend for all of the B&B cast and crew hosted by our dear friends Kira and Bob Lorsh. It’s also Kira’s birthday so it should be a fun party. Ronn and I plan to be on a constant honeymoon, but will take an official one sometime next year. Our wedding day will always be the most special day to both of us. Thank you so much for all the wonderful cards, gifts and comments wishing us well. We couldn’t be happier!
Ronn and I just got home from taping the “Newlywed Game” and we were in the lead the whole show. Davy Jones and his wife Jessica were competing and were just hilarious. “Survivor” reality star Jon Dalton and his “America’s Top Model” wife Michelle Deighton tied us in the end and ultimately won. Carnie Wilson said it was the funniest show ever and I was so sure we were going to win. We almost felt cheated because we got the most matches, but the final points could be anybody’s game. It was a lot of fun and it’s too bad we didn’t win for our charity, “Desi Geestman foundation.” The show will air on the Game Show Network in November. I will keep you posted on the exact date when I know it. We tried to be a bit outrageous to compete with the craziness of Jon and Michelle. Davy Jones and his wife Jessica were also outrageously funny. Since Jon and Michelle tied us in the end, the couple who guessed their points before the show started and whoever guessed closest would win the event of a tie. They guessed closer than we did and won! We felt so bad, but hey we played the game well and that’s life, can’t win em all.
Words cannot describe our wedding yesterday. It was truly perfection and we couldn’t have been happier. All my planning came together and God blessed us with beautiful weather in spite of the past few days of heat and fires. There was laughter, lots of it and tears, moments of true harmony and beautiful music that the groom himself bestowed upon his bride. The bridesmaids were absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and the groomsmen truly the most handsome bunch ever to wear a tuxedo. Our guests dined, danced and toasted us with lots of love and affection. We were not nervous at all and throughly enjoyed every moment of the day, from getting ready with the bridal party, to taking photos and laughing all night long. I feel so blessed and blissful today and can’t wait to see the photos and video. We soaked in every moment of the day and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. There was a wedding brunch at home with Ronn’s brother and cousins from Australia who are visiting and we are still eating wedding cake and drinking champagne today, not wanting the feeling to end. I told Ronn I want our marriage to be like this every day of our lives and if it ever gets off course, we will try extra hard to get right back on it, because it was simply a dream come true for me to have my fairy tale come true.
We appreciate all your concerns for our safety due to the fires surrounding us. But please note LA is very spread out and it always looks much worst than it is on the news. They tend to zoom in on what’s burning, which makes it look like LA is on fire and in fact it’s a small area. You can rest assure I would post asap if there was a reason to be concerned. We cannot smell smoke where we are, which is good and it seems they have gotten a better handle on it over night while the weather was cooler. In California we are always at risk during the Santa Anas season with winds and hot temperatures and a brush fires could occur anywhere. But that’s the price we pay for having sunshine most of the time I guess. It truly is a pain in the butt when these fires break out and a good reason to be concerned for the safety of animals and structures, but as you can see LA firefighters are very good and have had lots of experience fighting these fires. They really are heroes and brave, amazing men. It’s suppose to be very hot today, but not as windy as yesterday and cooling down tomorrow into the weekend, so I’m optimistic that this fire will be contained by tomorrow.
Well last night is going to stay in my memory a very long long time that’s for sure. I didn’t drink too much because I never do, but I did dance alot! I haven’t done that in a long time. Cindy felt better thank God and it was great to see so many girlfriends ready to celebrate with me for my big trip down the aisle. I was shocked to see this bikini cake that Cindy had made which was a work of Art. Tina and Cindy instructed me to bite into it, but where the hell would I start? ” Between the two huge boobs”, I was told. I figured I’d do as I was told because of the girls were upset that I did not want any male strippers. Cindy asked me if I wanted them a few times, but I promised Ronn, no strippers. So I had to entertain the girls by biting into this huge cake, just as I did, Tina stuck my face in it! I had cake all over my face, so I grabbed her an rubbed my face on hers and then I did the same thing to Cindy cause I had so much of it! Then Tina had the girls write on copies of my engagement invitation from the party she threw me last year, dirty little comments for me to look back on and remember. She also wanted me to read them aloud. Something we never got around to because we were too busy singing and my girlfriends can freakin sing!Tina, Cindy and I were the judges and it’s was hard to give anyone less than 5 kisses, so everyone won a prize! They then made me sing, “Like A Virgin” So I tried to put on a good show for them and make Madonna proud by rolling around on the floor while singing the song, I’m not sure what happened, but I ended up with a few bruises today from it. I also tried to pole dance for them but the pole was way too big. By the end of the night all the girls were dancing and happy there were no male strippers present. I nixed riding back in the limo with some of the neighborhood girls and left the party around midnight to get back home to Ronn sleeping. Leaving the girls at the bar still dancing. Thank you Tina and Cindy for the most awesome bacholerette party that will go down in history and a memory I now have on video to always look back on as one of the most fun evenings spent with the girls. I am so blessed to have so many amazing, beautiful, talented girlfriends that I adore. Thank you all for being so wonderful. I loved all the lingerie, cake, champagne, cards and well wishes for Ronn and I on our new journey together. The best is yet to come!
Ronn and I have been asked to be on the “Newlywed Game” with Carnie Wilson for the Game Show Network and it tapes three days after our wedding! I didn’t even know there was a new version of the Newlywed Game on the air. This show is celebrity couples playing for their favorite charity to win $10,000. We chose The Desi Geestman Foundation which helps families of children with cancer. At first Ronn was apprehensive about doing the show, but changed his mind to help this charity. I think it’s quite funny and am looking forward to it cause I think we will win because we know each other so well, hahaha. The wedding is a week away and I’m trying to stay calm and make sure everything is done beforehand so that I can enjoy the day. So I have all my beauty appointments scheduled to pamper myself a little bit everyday. I’m still worried about Cindy being sick, she’s been sick for a while now and I sure hope she gets better soon. Tina recovered and I’m sure we will have a blast this weekend with the bacholerette party. I scheduled a massage for Sunday because I know I will need it!
Okay, it’s less than two weeks away from the wedding and I think I have almost everything done finally. I’m excited, but always feel like I’m forgetting something. I have something old, new, borrowed and blue, so I’m not sure what it is? My memory isn’t as good as it use to be, so I hope I remember before the big day. It’s funny cause I had a dream a while back that I had everyone waiting on me, which is so not like me, cause I’m always on time and I couldn’t find my wedding dress. So I was running around looking for it?? I had a beautiful bridesmaid’s luncheon planned for this weekend and had to cancel it due to Cindy and Tina being sick. Barbara couldn’t make it and a couple of other people were under the weather, so I just decided to wait until the rehearsal to give everyone their gifts. It’s funny I’m not nervous at all cause I know I’m marrying the right guy, but I’m just concerned that I’m forgetting something?? Tina says, it’s normal and that every bride goes through this and speaking of Tina, she had to cut down her toasting speech to five minutes instead of an half an hour, hahaha. I hung out with her last week and she kept me up til 3am, which is way past my bedtime! Coming up next is the bacholerette party and I hope the girls are feeling better by then so we can start celebrating. It’s funny but Ronn and I got our marriage license the same day Brooke and Ridge did on the show, weird coincidence huh? Check it out, it’s pretty funny!
Ronn and I had a nice day hanging out in our pool with Nadia Bjorlin who is singing in our wedding. Her boyfriend Brandon Beemer and Lorenzo Lamas rounded out the hunkiest men ever to be present in our pool on a single day! Ronn got a little sunburned as a result of forgetting to put sunscreen on his back, bad boy! I cooked Cajun crabcakes and shrimp etouffee. Nadia and Ronn did some music and then we watched, “I Love You Man” which was so funny. It was an awesome day spent with great friends. We are looking forward to a nice relaxing day today cause the weather has finally cooled down and is beautiful. Hope you all are enjoying Labor day weekend. Be safe!
It was the best Daytime Emmy show ever with an awesome opening performance that Vanessa Williams did featuring Ronn, which was very funny. It was so hot that we skipped the red carpet to stay cool enough for Ronn to present the Best Game show. He was wearing a velour Armani suit that was made for him, so we just couldn’t take the heat for the red carpet, sorry. I had a strong feeling they would win, “Best Drama” finally and it was so deserved. They have been overlooked so many years for this and I told Brad Bell who was sitting right behind us that they would win. I even made a bet with Ronn, so now he believes I’m psychic, hahaha. It was an awesome moment for them to share and I was very happy for them. The after party was such a madhouse that we couldn’t even get a drink and so we headed over the the Eddison, which was so beautiful and elegant for a private after party just for us. The food was amazing and the drinks were flowing. Ronn and I really enjoyed the evening, but had to get home to the girls who had to evacuate their mom’s house due to the fires. It’s the forth time this past year that they’ve gone through this! Today I’m finalizing music for our wedding and spending the day with Ronn and the girls. I hope everyone is staying cool from this heat.
It’s exactly one month away from the big day. Since I chose not to have a wedding planner, I’ve done everything myself. Now I’m a pretty good organizer, planner as my friends call me and it truly takes a year to plan a spectacular event such as a wedding. I say a year to not become totally stressed out and that’s having no help. I have much more respect for wedding planners and what they do for the bride. There are just so many things to do and think about. Flowers, cake, photographer, videographer, Entertainment, food, liquor, decor, wedding attire, vows, music, bridal party gifts, favors, invitations, thank you cards, rings, did I forget anything? So in order for me not to feel at all stressed, I started on this project and trust me it was a project because it will be a fun, exciting day that Ronn and I will remember fondly for years to come! Together we have come up with a very unique yet traditional concept for our wedding, but I can’t talk about it due to an exclusive with Australian magazine, “Woman’s Day“. I do think what we are doing will produce some very interesting photos and video. It’s funny because the groom doesn’t have much to do except show up! It’s really all about the bride, isn’t it? Her choices in decor, attire and cuisine. But, I have a man who wants to be involved and that makes him happy so who am I to say no? He thinks I’m more traditional, maybe it’s my deep southern upbringing, but I think I’m no different from most girls who dream about this day, and for me to find it with the most amazing man, how could I not want to celebrate it to the max? As you can see, I throughly enjoyed my bridal shower, hosted by the most amazing Matron of Honor a girl could ask for in Ms. Tina O and now I’m looking forward to a special catered bridesmaids luncheon to thank them for all their wonderful efforts in helping me bring this day together. I also have a bacholerette party planned by bridesmaid Cindy Margolis and Tino O that I know will be out of this world fun with all of my girlfriends, can you imagine an all girl party thrown by those two? Sorry but no guys are allowed at that either, it’s my time with my girlfriends before spending the rest of my life with the most amazing man in the world!
Well the big day is just a little over a month away, so a bridal shower was held at my house and hosted by my Matron of Honor, Tina Hillstrom. Tina did the most amazing job with the decor for this all white theme shower. We had white flowers, candles, food and all of the girls were dressed in white There were over 50 girls in attendance, including bridesmaid Cindy Margolis, who provided me with the most amazing cake that Tina designed. There were three different flavors, chocolate banana, carrot and marble. Needless to say, everyone took cake home and had a blast playing games. One game included making a veil out of toilet paper and putting on a fashion show for me, in which I had to choose a winner. It was hard because the girls were so creative and came up with these amazing veils in just 10 minutes! I was put to the test when asked 30 questions to determine how well I knew the groom turns out, I know him pretty well and got 17 out 30 correct! Ronn showed up at the end of the shower and video taped the veil fashion show. It was a day to remember and the bridal shower of the century! I am so blessed to have so many amazing girlfriends that are happy to share in my romantic bliss. The presents were too numerous to open, so I’ll be doing that today and writing my thank you cards all week. Thanks Tina, Cindy, Creason and all of you who attended, I love you all so much!!
We just returned home from vacationing in the mountains with the kids. It was a lot of fun this year. Creason, Ronn and Calee went water skiing. It was a little too cold for me but I will try it next year. It hailed quarter size balls one day, which was rather cool. I spent alot of time writing and editing video footage, reading and relaxing. We go every year to the high sierra mountains with the kids. The tiny cabin that has been in Ronn’s family for 100 years is very special to him and the girls, so we are finally getting the ball rolling to fix the place up. Apparently, the forest service has a lot of required permits for renovating something that old because it is nestled in the heart of the forest, so the process will be long and tedious one. Nevertheless, we are expanding it and turning it into our dream cabin for future vacations with friends and family. I’m sorry I seem to be having tech problems with my site. I have alerted my webmaster and it is fixed now. I so apologize to those of you who were trying to order autographed copies of my book and thanks to those of you who alerted me to the problem. But, I had no Internet at the cabin except for limited cell usage. Technology is great when it works, but it’s not always perfect huh? Anyway, it’s good to be home in my own bed, yes I am sooo spoiled, hahaha. I felt like I was roughing it for two weeks in the woods! Here is the link to order my book on Barnes and Noble or you can go to my website to order a limited autographed copy there.
It’s finally here and I sent out autographed copies to all of you who pre ordered them. There is a limited supply of them left so if you want an autographed copy please order it from my website because they are going fast. If you don’t want an autographed copy, you may order them from Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble or Borders Books. I’m very happy with them and I appreciate everyone’s patience who did preorder and had to wait. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I’m now finally editing, “Pinup Stars of 21st Century” which is a documentary on the pinup girl from the pinup girls’ point of view. I’ve interviewed many Playmates, photographers and pinup artist over the past few years and can finally put this together the way I’ve envisioned, which is what I’m working on now. Ronn is on vacation so we are taking a little break and heading up to the mountains with the kids and I will be able to totally focus on my editing. When I return it will be all wedding related stuff to think about. I’m getting excited, but had a dream last night that I couldn’t find my wedding dress and kept everyone waiting for me to walk down the isle for over a half hour, so not like me! Hope you all are enjoying summer and staying cool on these hot sticky days like today.
I spent a memorable 4th of July hanging out at the beach with my girlfriends Alana Curry, Sandra Taylor and Dee Dee Bigelow. Dee Dee had me dancing to Michael Jackson and laughing most of the day. I don’t think the 4th would have been complete without dancing to Michael’s music. Almost two weeks after his death, the news coverage is relentless and it seems to be 24/7 Michael Jackson. I can only imagine how his family is feeling, but I imagine it is important to have closure for fans.Personally, I’d rather watch the memorial on TV than go and deal with the massive traffic and crowd that will be there. I was at the supermarket today and it seems every single magazine had him on their cover. I don’t like how people are making money off of his death, but I know that will continue and just get worst. Michael was a goodhearted person, who gave alot of money to charity and I think it’s fitting that he gets this kind of a tribute, he did alot to feed the hungry and his music was positive and all about love. Unfortunately, I truly feel for what his children will have to endure over the coming years living in a fish bowl. Hopefully, their family’s love will shelter and protect them. Michael will live on through his music and I plan to dance to it every 4th of July in celebration of his life from now on.
Ronn, Creason and I are going to a party at the beach this year. We are all missing Calee because she’s at a summer camp for the next couple of weeks, so it’s pretty quiet around here. I had a few friends bring me an awesome ice cream cake and celebrated my birthday the other day. My book is being printed this week, there was a delay with the publisher that was beyond my control, so everyone who ordered a book will get it by the end of this month. I’m sorry for the delay, but that’s the publishing world for ya! I hope to do some personal appearances this fall and hope to make Glamourcon this year. Right now my focus is on finalizing wedding plans, even though I gave myself a year to take care of every little detail, it’s seems a bit overwhelming just before the date rolls around. Time is just flying by faster and faster now. I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July!
Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes, cards and presents I have received. I feel truly blessed to see another birthday and to be this healthy and happy in my life. I have such wonderful, amazing friends and now the family I’ve always wanted. Ronn and the girls made me minestrone soup and salad last night, we then watched the movie, “Bolt” and I finally got a full 8 hours of sleep, so I feel totally rested. Unfortunately, Ronn is working late today, so I’m alone all day because the kids go back to their mom’s. So I plan to get my nails done and pamper myself. We have a busy weekend of parties, so having a relaxing day to myself is good. I may even go and have a scrumptious lunch and see a movie or go shopping, but I will enjoy my day today. Glad you all are enjoying the pics from Sanremo, more are coming later from Monaco, Amsterdam, Bordeaux and Paris. Ronn just bought a new video camera that doesn’t require video tapes, it has a chip, so it’s easy to load and edit. This will be so cool for future video clips that will be adding to our sites. Here are couple more pics Ronn shot of me Loire Valley, France.
It was a sad day today as we said farewell to Ed McMahon. He will always be a special memory for me for he was the one who gave me my $100,000 check when I won “Star Search” and I had the honor of appearing on Johnny Carson with him. Ed was a down to earth warm person. It was sad to see the struggles he had just before he died and the horrible injury he endured. He is surely someone fixed in my childhood memories. I wish his family peace and send my love and blessings to his soul. Rest in peace my friend.
The past couple of days were pretty rough, both Ronn and I were only averaging about 6 hours of sleep with the aid of a sleeping pill to get back into our time zone. I spent most of the day catching up on emails, phone calls, bills and mail urrrghhh! So I became a little cranky by the end of the day. I happy to say I feel more like myself today and will do some more catching up, but I wanted to post some of the photos from our trip here and on our sites. So check them out. Ronn shot so many amazing shots, especially in Sanremo. My birthday is on Thursday and I just want a quiet dinner this year, no big party as I don’t have the energy for it. Tomorrow Ronn and the kids are cooking me dinner and that’s the best birthday present spending it with them.
Finally we are back online in the London airport heading home today. It was hard to distinguish the Internet in France since both Ronn and I don’t read French or speak it. We have decided we want to learn and have already started with a few basics. Our time last night in Paris was magical. We walked for hours taking in the Louve, corner cafes, shopping and a romantic dinner before saying goodbye to our now favorite city together. Everywhere we went, people recognized Ronn and asked for pics and autographs. Even the female taxi driver in little town of Onzain, which was near Lorie Valley asked for his autograph. The women at the counter where we exchanged dollars for Euros did also. Seems I can’t go anywhere with him without this happening. The security guys in the Louve asked for a photo with him. The chef at Loire Valley who prepared the best french meal we have ever experienced asked for an autograph for his mother! Will post pics from this dinner later, it was a work of art! The show is very well the most watched in the world, that’s for sure. At one point we had people from Italy, France, Morocco and Zanzabare asking for autographs and pics! We both have very much enjoyed this vacation and consider it one of our best. But, we are missing home now and can’t wait to see Nayo, Romeo and the girls. I’m glad you guys got to share some of our trip from our blogs here. Will post more pics and we are working on our video from the whole trip on our plane ride back.
After having some amazing tastings in the chateaus of LaGrange, Margaux and Lynch Bages in the Medoc region of Bordeaux and then experiencing some chateaus of the St. Emilion region, home of Petrus. Ronn was fascinated with the wine education he had and found we both loved the older wines from the Medoc, but still appreciated the Merlot blends of St. Emilion just as much. We bought a few bottles to keep for the future, as well as a few to drink now. 2005 was a great year for all of Bordeaux and we fell in love with LaGrange and savored a bottle in our room while catching up on emails in our lovely room we had in this 18th century chateau. So I can safely say, Ronn is very relaxed now and loving France. We both want to learn French and can’t wait to go to Loire Valley, which is so beautiful today. We will stay in another 18th century chateau and visit one more vineyard today there before returning on Friday for our final day in Paris. Then it’s back home on Saturday. So far this has been an amazing trip. We have shot lots of video and we are organizing the clips together for an edited DVD to share soon. Will try to take more pics to post later.
After a grueling week of press and gala functions, Ronn was ready for a much needed vacation. The last press interview was in Amsterdam. We had a wonderful time in Amsterdam and visited with a long time friend of Ronn’s, Amanda. Amanda and some of her friends took us to dinner and we got to experience herring, which is very popular. A stop in the red light district was funny when Ronn would walk by windows of girls recognizing him. I checked out the coffee shops and we both admired the beauty of this amazing city. Ronn and I both would love to see Player kick off a European tour in Amsterdam. Paris has always been one of my favorite cities. It had a been a while since I’d been there, over 10 years to be exact, so I figured what better place to visit with Ronn, especially since he informed me that he had only been there twice and didn’t really remember much about it.They say, you should only go to Paris with someone you love, so it was great to share walking the stairs of the Eiffel tower and shopping on the Champs’ Elysee’. We both love red wines and since I’d been to Bordeaux before and found the train ride from Paris to Bordeaux to be quite pleasant; I suggested this as a good alternative the tremendous amount of driving Ronn does daily. He was so relaxed, he slept the entire three hour train ride! We are staying in a private 1780 Chateau that is ironically owned by a Dutch family. It is so relaxing, beautiful and peaceful and we were greeted with a wonderful bottle of wine and cheese to kick start our day tomorrow of wine tastings in some of the best regions.
Congratulations to “The Bold and The Beautiful” for their 4th win of the Golden Nymph award last night. It was a lovely evening spent in Monte Carlo with Prince Albert of Monaco. We had dinner afterwards with Katherine Kelly Lang, Dan McVicar, Ashley Jones and Brad and Colleen Bell. Designer of the award show Bain Du Nuit offered me this gorgeous yellow dress to wear for the red carpet that I could not resist! Prince Albert is so down to earth and gracious, we gave him a can of “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” and he loved the name, kept saying, “I can’t wait to try some kickass!” It was very cute. Needless to say, we got absolutely no sleep last night because of a 4am drive to the Nice airport for our flight to Amsterdam. I’ve never been so tired in my life! I swear I don’t know how Ronn does it as he has press all day today and it started at the Amsterdam airport upon arrival. God I do not want to see those pics of me! I just woke up from sleeping all morning, while poor Ronn is yet again working. Yesterday, before the awards we went to Sanremo for a quick photo shoot with Ronn. It was so touching to see how much the Italians love Ronn. From babies to elderly people, the love they give him is priceless. We took photos of Ronn taking photos of them and had a delicious Italian lunch before driving back to Monaco for the awards. Truly amazing memories of Monaco, Prince Albert, Sanremo and all the love from the fans. I even had a few asking for my autograph, which was a total surprise to me! Will post more pics that we’ve taken as soon as Ronn and I have time to look at them in our camera.
Ronn and I made it to Monaco and the weather is absolutely gorgeous. Our flight was smooth and pleasant, but we missed our connecting flight to Nice and had to take a later one, which made our arrival at about 1am Sunday morning. By the time we went to bed it was 3am. We had been up a total of about 32 hours by then and was sooo tired. This was my second visit to Monte Carlo/Monaco and Ronn’s third. My last visit was about 10 years ago and his was about 4. Monday late morning Ronn joined Ashley Jones, Doug Davidson and Michelle Stafford for a private luncheon with contest winners from all over Europe. It was at the beautiful Monte Carlo Bay hotel. After lunch, Ronn and I were so tired, we took a nap and didn’t wake up until later in the evening. We went to dinner and back to sleep. Then Ronn discovered he had blown out the charger to our video camera by using the wrong converter, so not like him. Made me feel better for forgetting my phone, but nevertheless, we need a new charger to continue taking video of our trip. Today Ronn is busy all day with Press, so I went to the mall to get a new one, but they didn’t have one for this camera, so I’m not sure what we will do now? Tonight we are having cocktails at the Prime Minister’s house and tomorrow night we meet Prince Albert at the palace. Thursday we go to Sanremo for a photo shoot with Ronn and then we have the award show in the evening. I will post again later and hopefully have some better news about our camera situation.
Ronn and I had a blast at the taping of the “Heroes Among Us Awards” last night on the back lot of the Universal Studios. This show honored ordinary people who did heroic things, even a dog who helped save a woman’s life after a car accident. It was hosted by Dean Cain and honored celebrities like Nancy Davis who is doing so much to help find a cure for MS and Kathy Ireland who’s charity feed the children has helped so many children to not go to bed hungry around the world. There was great food and lots of friends we caught up with like my pal Kira Reed and her husband Bob Lorsh. You may check out the pics
and watch the awards on July 7 at 8pm when it airs on a mynetworktv channel.
Almost 25 years ago I had the privilege to model for this family owned and operated company. We went to Hawaii for a wonderful photo shoot and their company was only a year old. Today they are celebrating their 25th anniversary and even discovered my pal Cindy Margolis when she won a Ujena contest. Boy, time sure does fly, but it seems like yesterday. I’m happy to have reconnected with my Ujena family and want to share my new Ujena page with you guys to check out. They have some killer swimsuits and I’m bringing mine with me to Europe to shoot some pics in and post. So check out this Ujena link and leave a comment!
I hope everyone is having a relaxing safe memorial day. Please take the time to remember those who died for our freedom. I also want to tell you guys about the most amazing product I have discovered. This is a product that is truly life changing. I’ve been on it for over a month and have tons of energy and have lost a whole dress size. I am back to a size four and will look great for my trip to Europe. Please check out this video and consider taking charge of your health and well being. I promise you will not be disappointed.
My book, “The Naked Truth About A Pinup Model” will be released in June and I have 150 copies to sign, so if you want to preorder your copy from my newly designed website , you may go to the merchandise area and do so before June 15th. The book will be available on Amazon.com, Borders Books and Barnes and Noble. It includes my exclusive interview with legend, Bettie Page and lots of photos from my modeling career. I wrote this book because so many girls have been asking me over the years, how to get into Playboy, how to break into movies and television and how to in general have a career such as mine? So that inspired me to write this as the definitive handbook for any model interested in pinup modeling and for fans who want to know the truth about what being a pinup model is all about. I realized there wasn’t a guide for those models, so everything you need to know or want to know about pinup modeling is in there. I share my own experiences and shed the truth about the Playboy mansion, as well as give you insight on how to brand your image. There are quotes from Hugh Hefner, Bettie Page and Mamie Van Doren, Cindy Margolis, Julie Strain, Olivia and Sandra Taylor, as well as, Playboy photographers Arny Freytag, David Mecey and Ken Marcus. I hope this book helps any model out there have a successful career as a pinup model and is an inspiration to those fans of pinup that have made legends such as Bettie Page and Marilyn Monroe. Last night Ronn and I had our second annual “Potluck Jamma Jam” party and I think it was our best party ever! PLAYER was the focus of the Jam, unlike the past Jam parties in which we had a variety of musician just get up and jam. I wanted some close friends and neighbors to experience what I’ve been seeing in rehearsals with them lately. Peter Beckett sang better than I’ve ever seen him and the synergy of their vibe was amazing. Drummer Ron Wixo who has played with “Foreigner” flew in from Austin to Jam and was he kickass! We had some new friends visit for the first time like soap stars Michelle Stafford, Brandon Beemer, Nadia Bjorlin, Don Diamont and Christian LeBlanc. My friend Corey Feldman and his wife Suzi stopped by also. It was a beautiful day and so I started the party out by the pool since we had lots of kids present and we moved inside at sunset. Since it was potluck, everyone brought food and there were tons of it, so it was hard to get people out of our kitchen and into the garage where the jam was happening, but once they were in there, they were hooked. We even had our little flower girl kick off the jam with “Twinkle Twinkle little Star” and she’s only 2 years old, along with Mackenzie Cregan who is 12 sang “Hot Leggs” and “Johnny B Goode” as well as, a neighborhood band joined in. With over 100 people in attendance I am pooped out today, but it was so much fun hanging with all my girlfriends and new friends that I’m already planning another one. This one will be filmed and we will do it to raise money for New Orleans. I’m calling it a “Kickass Cajun Jam” with Cajun food and surprise musical guest. So all of you are invited to come to our next jam party. I’m just starting to plan it, so I’ll keep you posted on when and where and how you can attend. We will presell tickets and this will be an exclusive event and it will be filmed. It will also be a chance for you to try some awesome Cajun food and “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” if haven’t done so already! So please check out for details on it soon!
I’m doing some spring cleaning and parting with all sorts of things, including a precious and very special 1 carat pear shaped diamond in 14k gold! I will include a note on what it means to me and exactly why I’m parting with it. I am also putting up designer dresses, shoes and rare photos. Ronn also has some awesome photos up for grabs and I’m trying to get him to clean out his closet and part with another scarf! So check out our Ebay auctions to see for yourself.
