Learning of Dick Clark’s passing made me sad today. Just thinking of Dick Clark reminds me of my childhood and teenage memories. Watching the ball drop on New Year’s Eve and of course “American Bandstand.” I was privileged to meet him back when I was on “Star Search.” He was one of my judges in the finals. I met him later and he told me that he voted for me in finals, which of course made me proud. Such a handsome man that never seemed to age, Dick Clark will forever be an American Icon that will be dearly missed. “Player” appeared on “American Bandstand” and Ronn also thought he was a terrific man. I don’t think we can ever have a New Year’s Eve in the future without thinking of him. After suffering a terrible stroke, he seemed to age suddenly and it’s been a struggle for him since. For the man who was called, “American’s Forever Teenager” this just didn’t seem possible. However, he is just like all of us mortals and life is just to precious and too brief. So for now we say farewell or so long Dick Clark, until we meet again.

Most people know me as Playboy's Miss June 1985. I also won $100,000 on the TV talent show "Star Search" as their Spokesmodel Champion in 1986, have been featured in movies such as, Disney's "Can't Buy Me Love", A Low Down Dirty Shame, House 2, Society and Andy Sidaris' "Guns", currently I have a Cajun spice called, "Devin's Kickass Cajun Seasoning" especially created to help the great city of New Orleans rebuild from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. I just authored a book featuring an exclusive interview with pinup legend Bettie Page entitled, "The Naked Truth About A Pinup Model"

  1. Music is what makes my world a happy place. Dick Clark, in my young days when I lived in PA, made me run home from school, because after the Mickey Mouse Club, he was next on American Bandstand. He will be greatly missed by a whole lot of fans, not only for hosting various productions, but also because he was a wonderful human being.

Thanks for your tribute guys, I’m certain your connections to him made a difference in your lives that will not be forgotten.

    Love ya, Lilian
