I know you’ve heard us say that Italy is our second home and it is looking more and more that way. The Italians have had a love affair with Ronn for decades now and he seems to visit that country more than any other. It’s hard to say no to any invitation because there are so many beautiful places to visit in Italy. This upcoming invitation is one that I am extremely excited about because it falls around my big 50th birthday in June and it’s a place I’ve never been in Sicily.
Ronn has been invited to attend the prestigious 59th Taormina Film Festival held in the beautiful scenario of the ancient Greek-Roman monument “Teatro Antico”, facing the Etna volcano, in the heart of the Mediterranean area. Past actors such as, Robert De Niro, Oliver Stone, Sophia Loren, Colin Firth have had the honor of being asked to do a presentation at this beautiful theater that is embedded in a rock and only holds about 19,000 people. I take this is as another gift from the universe that we are on the right path in our exciting new career ventures and the fact that this invitation falls near my big birthday makes me so happy to again visit another beautiful place in Italy. How exciting Devin! I am living my life vicariously through you and Ronn!! How fabulous is it that even though you didn’t get to go with Ronn on his last trip to Italy that you will be able to attend this one in June and what a celebration it will be! I heard an interview that Ronn did the other day where he was asked about leaving B&B and his response was, “Why did I wait so long to do it?” The floodgates have opened for him since he cut himself away from being tied down to that one area. He is so wonderfully gifted in so many areas, it must be hard being just one person and trying to field all the offers and opportunities that have come his way since he left television. Enjoy the sweet life and all that is coming your way guys! You so deserve it and we are so lucky to be able to follow you on this incredible journey! Much love to you both!!!!
With Italy in the news forefront, Vatican City specifically, I’m reminded of how beautiful this country is. That makes me happy to see you guys falling in love with the place while maintaining the love for each other. I would miss it and find it hard to come home. It is so ancient and romantic and all the precious wonders are there that people still try to imitate. You are lucky to be able to go there; most of us will never see it.
So, take plenty of pictures and videos so we can share your joy.

Congratulations to Ronn and you!!!!! I had my big birthday a few years back and I have to say you look beautiful for your age and look no where near the big 5 0. I wish you both nothing but the best in your future plans!!

So happy for you guys..Just the other day I was throwing out old magazines and i found 2 with articles about Ronn. Finland & Italy. So I kept them…and I know the love fans have for Ronn, overseas.

Safe travels to my other home. I was born here (US) from Italian parents are from Genoa & Florence. I spent every summer from age 6-17 over there, but never went to Sicily. Enjoy yourselves.
BTW..earlier on I was looking at a video with Brooke & Ronn (ONE MORE TIME) & the photos with the touch of gray….is a must….please keep it that way.
