Ronn and I had a nice day hanging out in our pool with Nadia Bjorlin 55092726 who is singing in our wedding. Her boyfriend Brandon Beemer 419px-Brandon_Beemer and Lorenzo Lamas 57317223 rounded out the hunkiest men ever to be present in our pool on a single day! Ronn got a little sunburned as a result of forgetting to put sunscreen on his back, bad boy! I cooked Cajun crabcakes and shrimp etouffee. Nadia and Ronn did some music and then we watched, “I Love You Man” which was so funny. It was an awesome day spent with great friends. We are looking forward to a nice relaxing day today cause the weather has finally cooled down and is beautiful. Hope you all are enjoying Labor day weekend. Be safe!

Daytime Emmy Awards ShowIt was the best Daytime Emmy show ever with an awesome opening performance thatalbum-silver-gold Vanessa Williams did featuring Ronn, which was very funny. It was so hot that we skipped the red carpet to stay cool enough for Ronn to present the Best Game show. He was wearing a velour Armani suit that was made for him, so we just couldn’t take the heat for the red carpet, sorry. I had a strong feeling they would win, “Best Drama” finally and it was so deserved. They have been overlooked so many years for this and I told4267_1_76357 Brad Bell who was sitting right behind us that they would win. I even made a bet with Ronn, so now he believes I’m psychic, hahaha. It was an awesome moment for them to share and I was very happy for them. The after party was such a madhouse that we couldn’t even get a drink and so we headed over the the Eddison, which was so beautiful and elegant for a private after party just for us. The food was amazing and the drinks were flowing. Ronn and I really enjoyed the evening, but had to get home to the girls who had to evacuate their mom’s house due to the fires. It’s the forth time this past year that they’ve gone through this! Today I’m finalizing music for our wedding and spending the day with Ronn and the girls. I hope everyone is staying cool from this heat.

It’s exactly one month away from the big day. Since I chose not to have a wedding planner, I’ve done everything myself. Now I’m a pretty good organizer, planner as my friends call me and it truly takes a year to plan a spectacular event such as a wedding. I say a year to not become totally stressed out and that’s having no help. I have much more respect for wedding planners and what they do for the bride. There are just so many things to do and think about. Dont think this one was rentedFlowers, cake, photographer, videographer, Entertainment, food, liquor, decor, wedding attire, vows, music, bridal party gifts, favors, invitations, thank you cards, rings, did I forget anything? So in order for me not to feel at all stressed, I started on this project and trust me it was a project because it will be a fun, exciting day that Ronn and I will remember fondly for years to come! Together we have come up with a very unique yet traditional concept for our wedding, but I can’t talk about it due to an exclusive with Australian magazine, “Woman’s Day“.ez7k3v8mld4fzekd I do think what we are doing will produce some very interesting photos and video. It’s funny because the groom doesn’t have much to do except show up! It’s really all about the bride, isn’t it? Her choices in decor, attire and cuisine. But, I have a man who wants to be involved and that makes him happy so who am I to say no? He thinks I’m more traditional, maybe it’s my deep southern upbringing, but I think I’m no different from most girls who dream about this day, and for me to find it with the most amazing man, how could I not want to celebrate it to the max? As you can see, I throughly enjoyed my bridal shower, hosted by the most amazing Matron of Honor a girl could ask for in Ms. Tina O and now I’m looking forward to a special catered bridesmaids luncheon to thank them for all their wonderful efforts in helping me bring this day together. I also have a bacholerette party planned by bridesmaidcindy and Tina Cindy Margolis and Tino O that I know will be out of this world fun with all of my girlfriends, can you imagine an all girl party thrown by those two? Sorry but no guys are allowed at that either, it’s my time with my girlfriends before spending the rest of my life with the most amazing man in the world!

Loving the anticipation,

Well the big day is just a little over a month away, so a bridal shower was held at my house and hosted by my Matron of Honor, Tina Hillstrom. Tina did the most amazing job with the decor decorfor this all white theme showerflowers. We had white flowers, candles, food and all of the girls were dressed in white tina and meThere were over 50 girls in attendance, including bridesmaid Cindy Margolis, who provided me with the most amazing cake that Tina designed.the cake There were three different flavors, chocolate banana, carrot and marble. Needless to say, everyone took cakecake home and had a blast playing games. One game included making a veil out of toilet paper and putting on a fashion show for me, in which I had to choose a winner. It was hard because the girls were so creative and came up with these amazing veils in just 10 minutes!5280_136320763734_544818734_3182034_6741151_ngirls in veil I was put to the test when asked 30 questions to determine how well I knew the groom ronn and me turns out, I know him pretty well and got 17 out 30 correct! Ronn showed up at the end of the shower and video taped the veil fashion show. It was a day to remember and the bridal shower of the century! I am so blessed to have so many amazing girlfriends that are happy to share in my romantic bliss. The presents were too numerous to open, so I’ll be doing that today and writing my thank you cards all week. dev and creasonThanks Tina, Cindy, Creason and all of you who attended, I love you all so much!!girls in whiteshowercindy and Tina

playboy mansionRonn and I had a blast at the Playboy’s midsummer night’s dreams party Saturday night. I saw so many of my friends like artist Michael Mobius, it felt like a class reunion. Hung out with Mamie Van Doren who still looks like the most amazing grandmother on the planet. I was happy to enjoy the evening after feeling ill all week and had one too many whiskey sours and didn’t get home til 4am! I’m a real light weight when it comes to liquor so it only takes a couple of drinks for me. It’s hard to even say hello to Hef these days cause it seems there are just so many people standing in line to do so. No doubt the mansion parties are still the best around. I’m planning on making some personal appearances for my book nakedtruth but it probably won’t happen til after the wedding. I’m so happy everyone is enjoying the book, I am very pleased that it is helping future pinups. Please keep your comments coming on my website, I truly do want your feedback.

We just returned home from vacationing in the mountains with the kids. It was a lot of fun this year. Creason, Ronn and Calee went water skiing. It was a little too cold for me but I will try it next year. It hailed quarter size balls one day, which was rather cool. I spent alot of time writing and editing video footage, reading and relaxing. IMG_0106 We go every year to the high sierra mountains with the kids. The tiny cabin that has been in Ronn’s family for 100 years is very special to him and the girls, so we are finally getting the ball rolling to fix the place up.IMG_0108 Apparently, the forest service has a lot of required permits for renovating something that old because it is nestled in the heart of the forest, so the process will be long and tedious one. Nevertheless, we are expanding it and turning it into our dream cabin for future vacations with friends and family. I’m sorry I seem to be having tech problems with my site. I have alerted my webmaster and it is fixed now. I so apologize to those of you who were trying to order autographed copies of my book and thanks to those of you who alerted me to the problem. But, I had no Internet at the cabin except for limited cell usage. Technology is great when it works, but it’s not always perfect huh? Anyway, it’s good to be home in my own bed, yes I am sooo spoiled, hahaha. I felt like I was roughing it for two weeks in the woods! Here is the link to order my book on Barnes and Noble or you can go to my website to order a limited autographed copy there.

5935_127251820411_661760411_3447722_4616946_n I spent a memorable 4th of July hanging out at the beach with my girlfriends Alana Curry, Sandra Taylor and Dee Dee Bigelow. Dee Dee had me dancing to Michael Jackson and laughing most of the day. I don’t think the 4th would have been complete without dancing to Michael’s music. Almost two weeks after his death, the news coverage is relentless and it seems to be 24/7 Michael Jackson. I can only imagine how his family is feeling, but I imagine it is important to have closure for fans.michael_jackson_whitePersonally, I’d rather watch the memorial on TV than go and deal with the massive traffic and crowd that will be there. I was at the supermarket today and it seems every single magazine had him on their cover. I don’t like how people are making money off of his death, but I know that will continue and just get worst. Michael was a goodhearted person, who gave alot of money to charity and I think it’s fitting that he gets this kind of a tribute, he did alot to feed the hungry and his music was positive and all about love. Unfortunately, I truly feel for what his children will have to endure over the coming years living in a fish bowl. Hopefully, their family’s love will shelter and protect them. Michael will live on through his music and I plan to dance to it every 4th of July in celebration of his life from now on.

AmsterdamThe past couple of days were pretty rough, both Ronn and I were only averaging about 6 hours of sleep with the aid of a sleeping pill to get back into our time zone. I spent most of the day catching up on emails, phone calls, bills and mail urrrghhh! So I became a little cranky by the end of the day. I happy to say I feel more like myself today and will do some more catching up, but I wanted to post some of the photos from our trip here and on our sitesEze. So check them outLoire Valley. Ronn shot so many amazing shots, especially in Sanremo.Sanremo My birthday is on Thursday and I just want a quiet dinner this year, no big party as I don’t have the energy for it. Tomorrow Ronn and the kids are cooking me dinner and that’s the best birthday present spending it with them.

DevRonnFinally we are back online in the London airport heading home today. It was hard to distinguish the Internet in France since both Ronn and I don’t read French or speak it. We have decided we want to learn and have already started with a few basics. Our time last night in Paris was magical. We walked for hours taking in the Louve, corner cafes, shopping and a romantic dinner before saying goodbye to our now favorite city together. Everywhere we went, people recognized Ronn and asked for pics and autographs. Even the female taxi driver in little town of Onzain, which was near Lorie Valley asked for his autograph. The women at the counter where we exchanged dollars for Euros did also. Seems I can’t go anywhere with him without this happening. The security guys in the Louve asked for a photo with him. The chef at Loire Valley who prepared the best french meal we have ever experienced asked for an autograph for his mother! Will post pics from this dinner later, it was a work of art! The show is very well the most watched in the world, that’s for sure. At one point we had people from Italy, France, Morocco and Zanzabare asking for autographs and pics! We both have very much enjoyed this vacation and consider it one of our best. But, we are missing home now and can’t wait to see Nayo, Romeo and the girls. I’m glad you guys got to share some of our trip from our blogs here. Will post more pics and we are working on our video from the whole trip on our plane ride back.

Dev & RonnAfter having some amazing tastings in the chateaus of LaGrange, Margaux and Lynch Bages in the Medoc region of Bordeaux and then experiencing some chateaus of the St. Emilion region, home of Petrus. Ronn was fascinated with the wine education he had and found we both loved the older wines from the Medoc, but still appreciated the Merlot blends of St. Emilion just as much. We bought a few bottles to keep for the future, as well as a few to drink now. 2005 was a great year for all of Bordeaux and we fell in love with LaGrange and savored a bottle in our room while catching up on emails in our lovely room we had in this 18th century chateau. So I can safely say, Ronn is very relaxed now and loving France. We both want to learn French and can’t wait to go to Loire Valley, which is so beautiful today. We will stay in another 18th century chateau and visit one more vineyard today there before returning on Friday for our final day in Paris. Then it’s back home on Saturday. So far this has been an amazing trip. We have shot lots of video and we are organizing the clips together for an edited DVD to share soon. Will try to take more pics to post later.

IMG_7726Dev laughs at Ronn's jokeAfter a grueling week of press and gala functions, Ronn was ready for a much needed vacation. The last press interview was in Amsterdam. We had a wonderful time in Amsterdam and visited with a long time friend of Ronn’s, Amanda. Amanda and some of her friends took us to dinner and we got to experience herring, which is very popular. A stop in the red light district was funny when Ronn would walk by windows of girls recognizing him. I checked out the coffee shops and we both admired the beauty of this amazing city. Ronn and I both would love to see Player kick off a European tour in Amsterdam. Paris has always been one of my favorite cities. It had a been a while since I’d been there, over 10 years to be exact, so I figured what better place to visit with Ronn, especially since he informed me that he had only been there twice and didn’t really remember much about it.They say, you should only go to Paris with someone you love, so it was great to share walking the stairs of the Eiffel tower and shopping on the Champs’ Elysee’. We both love red wines and since I’d been to Bordeaux before and found the train ride from Paris to Bordeaux to be quite pleasant; I suggested this as a good alternative the tremendous amount of driving Ronn does daily. He was so relaxed, he slept the entire three hour train ride! We are staying in a private 1780 Chateau that is ironically owned by a Dutch family. It is so relaxing, beautiful and peaceful and we were greeted with a wonderful bottle of wine and cheese to kick start our day tomorrow of wine tastings in some of the best regions.

B&B award winGolden Nymph awardsCongratulations to “The Bold and The Beautiful” for their 4th win of the Golden Nymph award last night. It was a lovely evening spent in Monte Carlo with Prince Albert of Monaco. We had dinner afterwards with Katherine Kelly Lang, Dan McVicar, Ashley Jones and Brad and Colleen Bell. Designer of the award show Bain Du Nuit offered me this gorgeous yellow dress to wear for the red carpet that I could not resist! Prince Albert is so down to earth and gracious, we gave him a can of “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” and he loved the name, kept saying, “I can’t wait to try some kickass!” It was very cute.Prince Albert Needless to say, we got absolutely no sleep last night because of a 4am drive to the Nice airport for our flight to Amsterdam. I’ve never been so tired in my life! I swear I don’t know how Ronn does it as he has press all day today and it started at the Amsterdam airport upon arrival. God I do not want to see those pics of me! I just woke up from sleeping all morning, while poor Ronn is yet again working. Yesterday, before the awards we went to Sanremo for a quick photo shoot with Ronn. It was so touching to see how much the Italians love Ronn. From babies to elderly people, the love they give him is priceless. We took photos of Ronn taking photos of them and had a delicious Italian lunch before driving back to Monaco for the awards. Truly amazing memories of Monaco, Prince Albert, Sanremo and all the love from the fans. I even had a few asking for my autograph, which was a total surprise to me! Will post more pics that we’ve taken as soon as Ronn and I have time to look at them in our camera.

Ujena Sanremo 3Monaco viewDevRonn2Ronn and I made it to Monaco and the weather is absolutely gorgeous. Our flight was smooth and pleasant, but we missed our connecting flight to Nice and had to take a later one, which made our arrival at about 1am Sunday morning. By the time we went to bed it was 3am. We had been up a total of about 32 hours by then and was sooo tired. This was my second visit to Monte Carlo/Monaco and Ronn’s third. My last visit was about 10 years ago and his was about 4. Monday late morning Ronn joined Ashley Jones, Doug Davidson and Michelle Stafford for a private luncheon with contest winners from all over Europe. It was at the beautiful Monte Carlo Bay hotel. After lunch, Ronn and I were so tired, we took a nap and didn’t wake up until later in the evening. We went to dinner and back to sleep. Then Ronn discovered he had blown out the charger to our video camera by using the wrong converter, so not like him. Made me feel better for forgetting my phone, but nevertheless, we need a new charger to continue taking video of our trip. Today Ronn is busy all day with Press, so I went to the mall to get a new one, but they didn’t have one for this camera, so I’m not sure what we will do now? Tonight we are having cocktails at the Prime Minister’s house and tomorrow night we meet Prince Albert at the palace. Thursday we go to Sanremo for a photo shoot with Ronn and then we have the award show in the evening. I will post again later and hopefully have some better news about our camera situation.

Ronn and I had a blast at the taping of the “Heroes Among Us Awards” last night on the back lot of the Universal Studios. This show honored ordinary people who did heroic things, even a dog who helped save a woman’s life after a car accident. It was hosted by Dean Cain and honored celebrities like Nancy Davis who is doing so much to help find a cure for MS and Kathy Ireland who’s charity feed the children has helped so many children to not go to bed hungry around the world.4536_86812762934_716657934_1839774_6541788_n There was great food and lots of friends we caught up with like my pal Kira Reed and her husband Bob Lorsh. Last night Ronn and I had our second annual “Potluck Jamma Jam” party and I think it was our best party ever! PLAYER was the focus of the Jam, unlike the past Jam parties in which we had a variety of musician just get up and jam. I wanted some close friends and neighbors to experience what I’ve been seeing in rehearsals with them lately. Peter Beckett sang better than I’ve ever seen him and the synergy of their vibe was amazing. Drummer Ron Wixo who has played with “Foreigner” flew in from Austin to Jam and was he kickass! We had some new friends visit for the first time like soap stars Michelle Stafford, Brandon Beemer, Nadia Bjorlin, Don Diamont and Christian LeBlanc. My friend Corey Feldman and his wife Suzi stopped by also. It was a beautiful day and so I started the party out by the pool since we had lots of kids present and we moved inside at sunset. Since it was potluck, everyone brought food and there were tons of it, so it was hard to get people out of our kitchen and into the garage where the jam was happening, but once they were in there, they were hooked. We even had our little flower girl kick off the jam with “Twinkle Twinkle little Star” and she’s only 2 years old, along with Mackenzie Cregan who is 12 sang “Hot Leggs” and “Johnny B Goode” as well as, a neighborhood band joined in. With over 100 people in attendance I am pooped out today, but it was so much fun hanging with all my girlfriends and new friends that I’m already planning another one. This one will be filmed and we will do it to raise money for New Orleans. I’m calling it a “Kickass Cajun Jam” with Cajun food and surprise musical guest. So all of you are invited to come to our next jam party. I’m just starting to plan it, so I’ll keep you posted on when and where and how you can attend. We will presell tickets and this will be an exclusive event and it will be filmed. It will also be a chance for you to try some awesome Cajun food and “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” if haven’t done so already! So please check out for details on it soon!

Hoping to see you at the next Jam

I’m doing some spring cleaning and parting with all sorts of things, including a precious and very special 1 carat pear shaped diamond in 14k gold! I will include a note on what it means to me and exactly why I’m parting with it. I am also putting up designer dresses, shoes and rare photos. Ronn also has some awesome photos up for grabs and I’m trying to get him to clean out his closet and part with another scarf! So check out our Ebay auctions to see for yourself.

devronnlogo4-12-08It’s been over a decade since I last visited my home state of Louisiana and I can’t wait to have a great bowl of gumbo and some crawfish. We will also introduce “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” to some of the locals and video tape the progress of the reconstruction down there . Ronn will be busy doing an appearance with other soap stars Winsor Harmon and Christian LeBlanc who are also native Cajuns. So I will be in good company. We promise to take lots of pics and video to share on our website Love DevRonn

I went to see the movie “12 Rounds” tonight with my friend and neighbor Wally Crowder. He was the guy driving the trolley car and also coordinated that whole trolley car stunt. Wally is also the stunt coordinator on “Desperate Houswives” among other TV shows. I thought the movie was action packed, but felt it should have been called “6 Rounds” instead of 12 because I was getting a little bored by round 5. The Trolley car stunt was the best part of the movie and I thought my pal Wally did a great job as an actor too. I also took some great pics today that I will put up on Ebay soon. It was my first time in front of the camera in a while and it was a lot of fun. Of course, Ronn took the photos and they look awesome!

ronns-favorite-shotI don’t watch alot of television, too busy with kids, school runs, cooking and running DevRonn. So when I was asked if I would be interested in having my own reality show, I hesitated. Then I started watching some of the reality shows on TV and decided that if I could do a show that was entertaining, unique and positive then I would consider it. I guess when it rains it pours because not only are we pitching my own series to a variety of networks such as E and Lifetime, but now my dear friend and one of my bridesmaids Cindy Margolis has her own show on FOX and wants me on it. I am also guesting on a couple of other new reality shows airing this fall and so I guess the reality of it is making me even busier than usual with wedding plans and all. I’m not complaining because I am sure I will have a blast doing everything. Ronn never has time to watch television, not even his own show, so this is all rather new for him. Personally I don’t know how he memorizes 57 pages of lines a day. I could never do that. I haven’t concentrated on modeling or acting in so long that being in front of the camera will be a little strange for me. I will keep everyone posted on the progress and let you know when to look for me on reality TV.
