It’s pretty apparent our world has gotten smaller, socially speaking. We communicate much differently than we did a decade ago and we can socialize with alot more people. It also apparent that Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube have helped change our way of socializing and communicating instantly around our world. If you are a business and don’t have an online presence you will be left in the dust by your competitor that does. We now shop online for just about anything and everything and because technology has caught up with real time streams of video that we can now do from our phones, we are more social than ever before.

It’s a matter of time, convenience and instant gratification that we love and desire now. Our children have grown up video chatting with several friends at a time, unlike our generation who actually spoke to one person at a time on rotary dial phone. Our world has changed and is constantly changing rapidly into something that seems to be hard to keep up with. Just when you figured out Facebook, there’s another form of social media to learn. The latest is Periscope which I find easy, fast and fun and I predict will be the next big thing to have a grasp on. Why? Because there is nothing like being able to share video or an instant visual on what is happening in your life with the world if that’s what you desire?

Yacht Rock Revue

Scoping things out socially on Periscope with daily scopes will become the best way to check in on friends and family from around the world. Ronn and I introduced Periscope to the Yacht Rock Revue boys in Atlanta and many of you followed them directly on stage from my scopes this past weekend. It was mind boggling to have fans tune in from Japan, Russia, Canada and Italy all from one scope. Many of you thanked me and told me you felt like you were right there with us. As most of you know, we were doing Livestream chats, but there needed to be a strong Internet signal to keep things live and streaming without any buffering issues. Periscope seems to work anywhere and it works really well. You can really instantly chat with people worldwide and by tapping your screen give multiple colored hearts to the broadcaster to show if you like what they are saying or doing.

Periscope

Socially, this will surely be the next best thing to being there in person and what’s not to love about the power behind it professionally speaking? I have always loved marketing, it’s what I’m most passionate about doing. If I love or believe in something, I will shout it out and brag about to everyone. I also love sharing and have always been a giving person. It amazes me how some people online are not that way and will refuse to share or retweet something. That’s really what makes the web such an amazing thing is sharing and bringing our world together, making us all a bit closer.  I believe a person’s action online says alot about them as a person. The ones who refuse to share online or retweet isn’t a very giving person, obviously. I mean it’s really not a big deal to hit that button and it certainly doesn’t take a lot of time because you can do it from your phone now. So sharing really is caring and says alot about someone.

I love the scopes that share valuable information and teach things I may not have known. I am so happy to share and follow those people who are bringing positivity and light to others. So with that knowledge I share with you Periscope and hope that you will follow Ronn and I there so we can chat often, take you on trips with us and share more of our inner selves with you there. Just download the app and give it a try. I think you will not only find it entertaining and fun, but it just may make you feel a bit more connected to your friends around the world. When you view a scope, be sure to share it with your friends and tap the screen multiple times and give the broadcaster lots of hearts because the more the love you give, the more you will receive right back. The universe works in strange and magical ways and sometimes information is given to you at the perfect time. In this vast universe we are all tiny little specs of living matter that are all part of a whole anyway. So don’t be afraid to share who YOU are with the world.
