It’s hard to believe we are officially in the month of March already! Seems like Christmas was just yesterday and now spring is just around the corner, but after the recent rains we have been having, I’m ready for the change of season and a bit of sunshine. Just as we have the changes of seasons, we must embrace the changes in our lives and look at new beginnings as blessings to embark on new adventures. Since our recent presidential election, we have seen so much division between personal friends due to their beliefs and values. I personally have never known anyone to delete me as a friend due to my religious or political beliefs in the past and found this recent action between personal friends highly unusual. Personally, I feel it’s driven out of fear and makes no sense whatsoever, however, the division and fear present is a very real observation and I have compassion for it. This why I choose to write my thoughts down in hopes of enlightening and inspiring others through example and knowledge from what I’ve learned thus far in this thing called life.

Recently, we have made some new and wonderful friends that share our common values and beliefs, as well as, desire to help lift and enlighten others. These are the new beginnings of amazing relationships that we hope will become life long friendships. It’s sad when you see friends that you were once close to seemingly fall off the face of the earth. It’s even more telling when those once close friends can’t even share, like or retweet anything you post on social media! Truly, it boggles my mind because that’s why it’s called social media, so that we can interact more and be social. I know celebrities that we know personally also that never want to be social with you online, which is so funny to me. It’s like hitting that like, share or retweet button is just not possible although I’ve known them to spy on me in livestreams or follow my social media. I look at this behavior and just shake my head and laugh.

It’s become obvious that so many people are simply out of balance in many areas of life. Balance is the key to being able to handle changes in life and getting your life in balance in all areas is what my book ‘True Age, Timeless Beauty” is all about. I learned how important balance was to all aspects of life and was inspired to write this book over a decade ago to help others understand this. It’s important to balance and health to let go of stress and understand this which is why I’m writing the follow up to that book on keeping life in balance called, ‘True Wisdom, Timeless Spirit.” I truly believe this that it’s so important to lift our fellow human beings up and have compassion for their fears. We are all connected and one in this thing called life and it’s important to start recognizing that. Be the love, the example and the light for others to follow in spite of their fears.

I was so touched recently by a thread on my Facebook page discussing our political differences when a Russian girl joined in and expressed how great it would be to have our countries get along. She went on to express how important it is to control the immigration that is constant in our country and said that from their point of view, immigrants who leave their mother country to come to America for the money are not looked upon fondly. She believes these people should have more pride in their own country and these people are seen as lazy and are not welcome back to their own countries and many were kicked out to begin with. This conversation showed me how different our point of views are and yet how human we all are. Her view was that it is good to be selfish and think first about your own country. She went on to say there is nothing wrong with that, in fact it’s considered right and respectful to do so in their opinion and that we should indeed try it.

After that conversation, I had many other online friends join in from many other countries saying the same thing and I realized how much my voice is being heard in spite of close so-called friends lashing out with hateful comments and half truths or down right crazy antics of wanting to delete their longtime friends and family from their lives just because they disagreed on their views. The bigger picture of how fearful some people are to change was so apparent and that embracing new beginnings would maybe be a challenge, yet necessary for truth growth. I feel we are all at a point in life that the evolution of your mind, body and spirit is necessary and anything or anyone who isn’t on that level should not be a part of your life. Once you evolve to this place it’s really hard to go back to living in fear and it’s not healthy. Stress kills, it ages you and it keeps you out of balance and unable to think clearly. Keeping life in balance helps you conquer fear, stay healthy, maintain positive relationships that are beneficial to growth and like ripples in a pond, we are happier and more prosperous as a result. We are able to handle anything life throws at us and still stay in balance.

So as we embark on embracing these new beginnings as a whole, I’m trying to keep my mind, body and spirit in balance and intend to continue sharing what I’m learning in the this thing called life for as long as I live. Those of you who follow me on Periscope have been in scopes devoted to this very subject in what I call “Peritherapy.” It is through sharing with others that we grow as a whole. We will continue to embrace the new beginnings with excitement and anticipation of new adventures and with hope for only peace and love in our world.

Love it…and you are so right! I truly believe we have to safe guard our Country, cause if we don’t, we won’t have a Country to love. Friendships grow with Nurture, Love and Hope. Kudos to your new Friendships…May they stand the test of time. I do love our PeriFamily…Friends from all over the World caring about each other! Much love to you and Ronn!

Thanks Pammy, I notice so much online and it really does boggle my mind how people behave even how they refuse to share postings, which is what social media is all about. Tells me it’s time to make room for new friends and let go of small minded people that serve no purpose now in our lives.

  2. Love what you said. Sad that many are afraid to speak what is really in their heart for fear of being judged .

Hi, Devin, I would not cancel you as a facebookfriend, but your political opinion is not my opinion. I like it when you talk with your friends. It’s nice to see you with Ronn. It looks happy. Thank you for your interesting posts at facebook and here in the blog. Best wishes from Karin and from Karina Dagmar from Germany. We met Ronn in Portofino. That was nice. We wish you all the best.
