It’s been over a week that we have been in our beloved second home, Italy. As always, we feel the love instantly especially with Ronn, as he has always had a big love affair with beautiful Italia. It seems since, “Ballando con le Stelle” he is more recognized as Ronn instead of Ridge, which is quite nice. After all of the press he did for his PLAYER album with Peter Beckett, we celebrated the release of Lavinia Biagiotti’s book, which is a cute and colorful book that displays tips on fashion. Lavinia is like my sister and she and her mom, Laura always makes us feel at home with them. I’m happy to announce that I will be helping them bring back the beloved fragrance, “Venezia” to America. The fragrance has many fans and requests in America and right now isn’t currently distributed there. I love the smell and right away started getting compliments since I’ve been wearing it. Jacqueline MacInnes-Wood who plays Steffy on B&B fell in love with it instantly also. So we are excited to relaunch “Venezia” in the US now. Since we have said goodbye to our friends in Rome, we are now in beautiful Puglia among the olive groves, which feels like heaven. There is an amazing spa that I’m looking forward to trying and the food has been spectacular. Seems like the vegetables are so fresh and flavorful that is all I want to eat right now. The seafood is also amazing and so is the wine. Needless to say we never go hungry in Italia. The B&B shoot is going very well, quite relaxing with gorgeous days and beautiful nights spent with the cast and crew. There are more of our Italian friends coming later this week to visit with us and Ronn and Katherine Kelly Lang are shooting a cute and funny commercial at the end of the week. Italia is always busy for Ronn with shoots, press and trying to fit so much in with friends in such a short period of time. But, we love Italia and their culture and really do think of it as our second home. A home we hope to spend more and more time in future years.

Easter has always been one of my favorite times of the year because it marks the blooming of flowers, spring fashion and new beginnings. There is a freshness in the air and after a cold winter, it’s a welcomed change that makes us smile. This Easter was the first time in eight years that Ronn and I have been apart. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Z9YsvpW_Uk] Even though I’ve missed him dearly,  I’ve so enjoyed the quiet stillness of our home all to myself. Good Friday I attended a fun party hosted by Michelle Stafford at her gorgeous home that she has decided to sell. I hung out with Nadia Bjorlin, Brandon Beemer and Christian LeBlanc which always spells out, “Good Time.” Then I had a fabulous dinner cooked by renowned drummer, Frankie Banali and his gorgeous fiance’ Regina Russell. Meanwhile, Ronn flew to Rome for an appearance on a new dance show called, “Ballando Con Te” and spent Easter with Laura and Lavinia Biagiotti. I decided to spend Easter with my neighbor Sue who cooked up a fabulous spread of prime rib and turkey. Her daughter Danielle made some bunny rabbits treats, as we hung out and enjoyed a gorgeous day spent by the pool. So I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter. And even though Ronn was missed here at home, he is returning today with many stories from our Italian family I’m sure.

Experiencing Bora Bora was in a nut shell magical. The water is very clear aqua blue that is  absolutely gorgeous and calm. Our every need was taken care of at the St. Regis, which seems to be the honeymoon haven for many couples. I can clearly see why. Upon arrival you are greeted with a flowered lei and taken by a boat that resembles a yacht to the resort where you are then greeted with a drink and a cool towel to feel refreshed. Our over the water bungalow was pretty awesome and a bottle of champagne was waiting for us. We had a candle lit dinner on a sugar white sandy beach and a gorgeous buffet breakfast with everything you can imagine every morning overlooking a pristine private beach. Each day was like heaven waking up to the still water surrounding our spacious bungalow hut. We rode bikes that were all over the resort around and had a couples massage side by side at the spa. We snorkeled and went on an aqua safari, which was quite interesting. You put these space like square helmets on in which you can breath and go down about 10 feet to see all kinds of fish and stingrays. I quite enjoyed that and we took a lot of underwater video and pics. Every evening our bed was turned down and treats of cookies and rose petals that spelled out LOVE was placed on our bed. Each evening we dined at a different restaurant with a different mood. The food on the Island is primarily Asian and French or a combo of both. So one night we had sushi, the next night French and one night we went to a very casual place called, “Bloody Mary’s” which is quite popular for seafood. Mama who owns “Bloody Mary’s” was a big fan of Ronn’s and everyone wanted photos. Seems all of Tahiti loves B&B and Ronn and pretty much everyone we went was the same scenario. I can honestly say Bora Bora is the perfect honeymoon location and we highly recommend it. Hopefully we will get to return for an anniversary. Apparently, they give you a seashell necklace that you are suppose to throw off the boat when you leave that says to the Island you will for sure return again.

Ronn’s Garage is finally here!  We are both excited to have you cook with me at home, watch Ronn interview celebrity guests and even come to some of our parties! Ronn has been working diligently on this for a few months now and his first celebrity guest is Lorenzo Lamas. In “Ronn’s Garage” you get to see Ronn being Ronn and having a great time. In this first video, Ronn chose to do all the filming and editing himself  to kind of set the tone for future shows and you all know what a perfectionist he is so it can only get better with time. There is so much more he wants to bring to Ronn’s Garage with each and every show. Lorenzo was such a great guest that he has a two part show. In the first show you get a better look at his sense of humor and how down to earth he really is. In part two you will get to see Lorenzo sing with Ronn and cook with me! Ronn’s Garage is a place to really get to see Ronn at home doing what he loves to do, playing music and having fun with his friends. I’m happy also to share some of my recipes and entertain you with some of our jam parties. So we hope you enjoy “Ronn’s Garage” and let us know what you think. You may access “Ronn’s Garage” also in  Spanish, Italian, French and German by going  directly to Ronn’s Garage URL and click on the flags at the top of the “Ronn’s Garage” home page. “Ronn’s Garage” is  also on Ronn’s Website shortly. I think “Ronn’s Garage” will be a chance to really get to know Ronn and have some fun!

Last night Ronn and I attended a movie screening “Smitty” which starred Peter Fonda, Mira Sorvino and Louis Gossett Jr. It was a heartwarming story about a troubled boy and his dog. This event was to benefit the Ventura Animal Shelter and www.shelterhopepetshop.com. My pals Kira Reed Lorsch and Kim Sill were involved in putting the event together and DevRonn donated spices for the gift bags. It was fun to hang out with Quiet Riot’s drummer, Frankie Banali and his fiancee’ Regina Russell. I was hoping to see Peter Fonda since he directed me in a play many years ago that I did with Vanessa Marcil and Dwight Yoakum. If you haven’t seen “Smitty” it’s a terrific movie that you will for sure enjoy. Today we are packing and getting ready for our belated honeymoon to Bora Bora. It’s been over 2 years since we have been married and we haven’t had time for a honeymoon! In fact, I’ve been with Ronn 8 years and we have never been on a vacation where it wasn’t work related or kid related, so this will be a real treat for us!  We are so looking forward to a quiet time to reflect and enjoy our loving relationship. Ronn is pressed for time right now with upcoming PLAYER press and concerts that are being formulated, as well as, an upcoming remote shoot in Italy for B&B. He is also trying to get the first show for “Ronn’s Garage” on Lorenzo Lamas done so that he can officially launch “Ronn’s Garage” which I’m sure you guys will love. So we take off tomorrow for Tahiti and will take lots of pics and video to blog when we return.

On August 23, 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and devastated that region with 175 mph winds that left over 1836 people dead and cost over $100 billion dollars in damages. Many people lost their homes and relocated. This was one of the deadliest and costliest natural disasters in US history. Since then many people have been able to return to their home town thanks to the efforts of the “Make It Right” foundation and Brad Pitt’s passion for New Orleans. The first star studded fund raiser for “Make It Right” was hosted in New Orleans by Brad Pitt, Randy Jackson and Ellen DeGeneres. They showed us the progress that is being made with Green energy efficient homes that has enabled many native Louisianians to return home. This amazing technology has helped many other displaced people all over the world with these kinds of homes and I’m happy to be a part of this with “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning.” It seems the region is coming back and will be stronger and better as time goes on. We are very proud to have participated in the first gala for “Make It Right.” All the performances by Sheryl Crow, Rhianna, Snoop Dog, Seal and Kanye West were amazing and the show will be broadcast later. The gala was totally first class and one of the most fun charity events we have ever attended. Ronn chatted with Portia DeRossi as I re connected with Sean Penn and Randy Jackson, who is from my home town of Baton Rouge. We had the best Cajun food prepared by Emeril and surprise appearances by Football hero Drew Brees and Dr. Drai. There was an open bar and the party went on all night long, so needless to say we didn’t want to miss any of it. By the end of the evening, Ronn was hanging with Jamie Foxx and Rhianna, while I partied with my home girls. One of my first college roommates came to visit me from Baton Rouge. We had not seen each other in 24 years! But that’s okay, because those are my life long friends that I cherish and we know it doesn’t matter if we don’t see each other, we are always there in each other’s heart. That’s how we are in Louisiana. If you are a friend, you are family and the passage of time just doesn’t matter.  It made me so proud to see how much New Orleans loves Ronn as walked around the French Quarter listening to Jazz, stopping for Beignets and eating lots of gumbo.  The culture is still there and the pride of Louisiana is still there, hell it’s a miracle that the French Quarter is still there! When Katrina hit New Orleans I cried and I wanted to do something to help rebuild it, thus “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” was born. I’m happy to see there are others that feel as passionate about New Orleans as me and it’s amazing to the see the progress when we all do a little bit to help. We now have several people helping us get our spice into restaurants and supermarkets. It made us so happy to be able to  donated 1000 spices to the gala’s gift bags and we helped to raise over $14,000!  That was small compared to other sponsors like Google, but we will most certainly be back next year bigger and better. Thank you to everyone who helped and participated.  We are the spice that’s “Making It Right” in New Orleans so please spread the word and help us to continue.[wpvideo J1rs8eC0]

When it comes to birthdays, Ronn is not traditional at all. He doesn’t like the fuss and really doesn’t like birthday cake. It’s hard to surprise him because he hates surprises and wants to know what’s going on. This was a big birthday and I wanted to have something extra special for him, but due to his crazy work schedule and the fact that it was also a big birthday for Creason the week before, we just decided to combine them with a low key BBQ and few neighbors and friends. This is just so Ronn and I just gave him exactly what he wanted this year. Our neighbor Sue made a delicious carrot cake, which is the only cake that Ronn likes and our neighbor Bill was awesome on the Grill with his beer can chicken. I cooked up some red beans and rice in honor of Mardi Gras along with some various appetizers. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day out by the pool and later Peter Beckett and Ronn did some acoustic music in the garage with “Quiet Riot” drummer Frankie Banali joining in. Our dear friend Julian Jackson filmed the whole party and we will have a edit of it to post soon. This really cheered Ronn up from the saddness of so many amazing talents that have passed away recently. Davy Jones, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, to name a few have passed way to early for us. It has brought new meaning to every birthday for Ronn. Even though he is in amazing shape and very healthy, he realizes each birthday is another gift and another reason to celebrate still being here. His mom died at age 63 when he was just 18. So for Creason to turn 18 and he 60, hit an emotional milestone for him and the importance for close friends and family around him is all he wanted this birthday. Because Ronn is such a popular guy we cannot simply have one birthday party. We must celebrate all month long with various friends to really let him feel close to those he love and adore. So this is just the first for a few more birthday celebrations. Our friend and Australian artist Brett Livingston Strong who painted Michael Jackson gave Ronn a very special painting of a Geisha girl that Michael Jackson drew. Only two exist and they belong now to Ronn and Michael’s mother Katherine. Today Ronn went to a celebrity party at “The House of Blues” in Hollywood for a live Facebook streaming concert of the “Blues Brothers” celebrating 30 years since John Belushi’s death. I watched the stream from our bedroom in my PJs and really enjoyed it. Ronn hung out with Dan Ackroyd, Jim Belushi, Director John Landis and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. He’s now very excited at the possibility of PLAYER doing a concert like this in the near future. I know for his many International fans that this will be a big treat. Who knows maybe you can join his birthday festivities live with us as we continue to celebrate throughout this month!  So I want to personally  thank you very much for all your gifts and birthday blessings for our extraordinary Ronn that we all adore so much. I know we would all love to have him around another 60 years!

Tomorrow Ronn and I will do a segment for “Inside Edition” on our friend Davy Jones. We met Davy and his adorable wife Jessica when we all appeared on “The Newlywed Game” a couple of  years ago. Ronn and I were only married 4 days when we did that show and Jessica and Davy had been married a few months. I couldn’t believe we were on “The Newlywed Game” with such a teen idol like Davy Jones. Hell I remember having a crush on him like millions of other girls when I watched “The Monkees” everyday after school. I remember Marcia Brady wishing she could have him sing at her prom on “The Brady Bunch.” Davy Jones was such a part of the innocence that represented our youth. Even though Davy Jones was English, he represented a huge part of American culture and what America’s first real television teen idol was and always will be, fresh, exciting and innocent. When we heard of Davy’s death, we lost a piece of our innocence and it broke our hearts because he was just too young to leave us. I remember Davy being every bit of what I thought he should be; sweet, funny, lovable and a joy to be around. Ronn and I spent the whole day laughing, drinking champagne and feeling like we were friends forever that day on “The Newlywed Game” set; and all I can think about now is what a wonderful spirit he was, and how much we will all miss him. Our hearts go out to his lovely wife Jessica. They were such a cute a couple. Ronn and I feel honored to have known him and his memory will be forever in our hearts. It’s weird that I was just watching back to back reruns of “The Monkees”a few days ago and thinking of Davy. To learn of his passing was so shocking and makes you stop and appreciate these precious moments in life.  “The Monkees” song, “I’m a believer” will forever ring in my mind of a time when life was fresh and innocent and Davy Jones will always be remembered in our hearts as part of that. “Inside Edition” will air March 2, 2012 at 3:30pm PST on Channel 9. Please check your local listings.

For the first time Ronn and I watched almost all of the major Oscar nominated movies and our favorite was “The Decendants.” I was surprised it didn’t take home best picture, however we did enjoy “The Artist” very much too. We haven’t seen “Hugo” yet, so that is a must on our list. I thought “Iron Lady” was an okay movie, but loved Meryl Streep’s performance and thought she should indeed win best actress. We loved “The Help” and Octavia Spencer did steal that movie and I also thought she was a sure thing for Best supporting actress. All in all, Billy Crystal was great as a host, he always is. I wasn’t floored by any of the dresses on the red carpet, although Angelina Jolie looked great, she looked rather thin and what was up with the leg thing? Seems she was trying too hard, which in my opinion a more subdued approach is always best. I just think Natalie Portman is adorable and although I love Emma Stone, I hated her dress. We spent our Oscar night at the Playboy mansion, which is always fun because it’s like family there. We have so many terrific friends to catch up with there and the food is always terrific. Think next year we may just have our own Oscar bash!

Like many of you today I watched the moving church service of Whitney Houston’s funeral on TV. I’m sure like many of you tears were shared and memories of that voice rang in your favorite songs. I felt close to her even though I never met her. She was the same age as me and I remember vividly the moment she came on the scene back in 1985. That was a special year for me as well. I related to her beautiful smile and her vivacious energy. She was one of a kind and such a beauty. Someone every little girl looked up to hope to be. She was a model, a musical talent and an actress, she had it all. We watched her grow, mature, get married, have a baby and fall from grace. But, we never stopped loving her and wishing for her to overcome her demons and make it back to those glory days. Everyone loved Whitney! She had that spark, that magical thing that you can’t describe, but everyone knew she was a shining star. Like Michael Jackson she was taken from us too soon, but will live on in our hearts and in song. I had the honor of watching her perform at the 1986 American Music Awards in person. She opened the show and you were mesmerized by this amazing talented beautiful woman. Our prayers go out to her daughter Bobbi Kristina and even though Whitney has gone to heaven, she will never be forgotten. Whitney we will always love you!

Ronn & Michelle Vega

Valentine’s Day is here and it’s safe to say love is in the air. We saw it firsthand when we attendedthe engagement party of Sean Kanan and his bride to be, Michelle Vega. Sean plays Deacon Sharpe on “The Young and The Restless” and use to play that character on “The Bold and The Beautiful” for years before. It was nice to see Winsor Harmon, Jennifer Finnigan and Kim Matula there to celebrate the lovebirds. We watched a funny rap video that Sean did with Ronn and Josh Morrow called, “I’m A Soap Star.” I think I may have had a bit too much fun because I’m now down for the count with a cold, so I’m resting and trying to get better before Valentine’s day is here. So here’s to all you lovebirds wishing you a happy Valentine’s Day!

Linda & Ronn

We attended a wonderful charity event in Temecula’s beautiful wine country to benefit Charity for Charity. This local charity gives a wish to a local family who has a terminal disease. We were invited by my gorgeous “Housewives of Orange County” star Peggy Tanous and her her husband Micah. Ronn really made Linda a happy woman as Linda is in stage 4 of breast cancer and was this year’s recipient.

Micah & Peggy Tanous & DevRonn

We all had a lovely evening and then went wine tasting at the local vineyards the next day .Although we were granted a balloon ride over the vineyards, it was impossible for me to get Ronn out of bed, so I had to just settle for all the wine I could drink. One of the local vineyards was “Cougar” and they are known for a wine called, “The Pink Cougar” which is a sweet Cabernet. Peggy and I couldn’t resist taking a pic in front of their sign. Ronn and I also discovered the best hamburgers just outside of Temecula in a little town called, Winchester.  We had a fun weekend filled with good food, friends and wine and we will happily participate in this wonderful charity again.

Dev & Jeff

Ronn and I attended the birthday party of a longtime dear friend of mine, producer, writer, Jeff Franklin. Jeff created the TV series “Full House” with John Stamos and I’ve known Jeff since he was a writer on “The Garry Shandling Show” which was my first appearance on a sitcom.

Ronn, John Stamos and Jeff Franklin

Over the years, Jeff has had some really great parties and is just an overall super nice guy that everyone adores. So we were honored to join the company of singer Bobby Brown, Mike Love of “The Beach Boys” and of course John Stamos who all performed, along with the band, “The Spazmatics.” If you guys haven’t seen The Spazmatics, they are a bunch of guys who dress up as geeks, but sing their asses off on cover songs from the 80s. You just can’t help but get up and dance!

Kato Kailen

Jeff’s home is one of the most spectacular custom homes in Beverly Hills, with amazing views and the food at his place is always to die for! Needless to say, Ronn and I had a blast and didn’t actually get home til the wee hours of the morning. Jeff and I have a little custom with our birthdays over so many years. Since we are both big Elvis fans; I usually give him something to add to the massive Elvis room collection that he has and he usually gives me something from one of my favorite stores, “Nicole Miller.” However, this year Jeff did not want presents and asked that we donate to his favorite charity Operation USA to those who really could use help. So here is to another great birthday party thrown by my awesome friend Jeff! Happy Birthday!!

Michael Moebius & DevRonn
Brequet Party

Ronn and I had a fun time with our German artist friend Michael Moebius at the Breguet Watch party in Beverly Hills last night.  We then had dinner at “Housewives of Beverly Hills”  Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, “Villa Blanca.”

Michael & Ronn

Whenever Michael comes to visit, we have 3D photos to look forward to and as you guys know, Ronn is a camera buff. So he and Michael always have a fun time.

Seeing Hef and old friends like musician, Ray Anthony is always special. Speaking of pictures, Ronn and I are gearing up to take lots of photos of each other soon.
Since I don’t model anymore, we must find the time and energy to do it. I’m really excited about this new year as it is off to a great start.
Ronn is working on an exciting new project that will be music related and I’ll let him tell you all about that later when it launches.
I am super busy already with real estate clients and trying to find the time to finish writing my next book, cookbook and working on a screenplay. As always, I will keep you informed on what’s happening here first.

We hope you all had a wonderful and safe time celebrating the arrival of 2012. We certainly did. It was great to spend it with Peter Beckett and his girlfriend Eden, along with their two sons. I cooked a fabulous dinner of cornish hens, wild rice and veggies. We managed to stay up til midnight for a champagne toast and felt totally blessed to see the dawn of another new year. Ronn and I are feeling very creative now. Ronn wants to do some music and I want to do some writing before heading back home. I have a new look to my personal website and plan to add lots of videos, pics and clothing items there this year. You can now download Ronn’s individual songs for only .99 on his website and we are excited about new things that are coming to Devronn this year. I’m working with my dear friend Kira Reed Lorsch on The Thalians next charitable event. Last year they raised 1 million dollars to benefit the mental illness of our troops and honored Hugh Hefner. So this year we hope to top that with an even bigger and better event. I’m also thrilled to help several of my dearest friends find their dream homes since I now have my real estate license and must say I’m enjoying that process. So I believe 2012 is off to a great start so far. Please note we are down to our last 400 spices of “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” and need to spread the word about this awesome product if you’d like to keep it around, so go to Devronn and support us by buying a spice and giving one to a friend so that we can keep it around. Remember you get a FREE autographed photo when you purchase $15 or more from Devronn. Ronn and I both appreciate your loyalty and loving support of us throughout the years and hope to have more interesting products in the future. We have so many awesome things coming your way, so stay tuned and let us know what you’d like to see more of.

Candy Cane Dev

Seems Ronn and I are kicking off the holiday season parties with a bang. We went to an awesome Heinekin holiday party with our dear friends Wally and Lori Crowder.

Dev, Andrea, Cindy, Lisa

Then I hosted my all girl Potluck Christmas bash. Ronn was sweet enough to help out as our elf with the photos. As always, the girls brought some great yummy dishes and we did our white elephant exchange where a lot of stealing was going on with great fun!

Cake

My dear friend Cindy Margolis brought this awesome cake to celebrate all the sexy girls and I dressed up as a candy cane to keep all the girls in line during the gift exchange.

Eden & Dev

It can get pretty rowdy with the girls during that process.  If you recall I was Mrs Claus last year. Some of my favorite potluck gals couldn’t make it this year due to the flu or out of town commitments, so we had a few newbies this to initiate.

But, as always girls just want to have fun and that we did!

Jim's Plane
Wally and Lori

This past weekend spent in West Palm Beach was sheer heaven. We were invited to attend the 24th annual “Boys and Girls Club” charity event by our host Jim Glidewell, who was introduced to us by our dear friends Wally and Lori Crowder. Jim flew us in his private plane along with a few other couples and we stayed on his yacht, “Ohana” as we attended the various events all weekend long. We had a lovely cocktail party Thursday  evening and got to tour the other yachts in the harbor and was treated to a spectacular finale of fireworks. Now being on board a yacht is really quite an experience, since the crew pretty much caters to your every possible need 24/7. This beautiful 157′ floating palace has everything that an amazing first class hotel could have!  The boys spent a lot of time having cocktails and smoking cigars, while the girls hung out drinking tea and chatting.  Since Friday was 11/11/11 and Veterans Day, Ronn and I took a moment to meditate on our blessings and our Veterans and enjoyed the rest of the day getting to know our new friends. We then dressed up for a roaring 20s party that evening in held in the amazing Flagler Museum.

Red Train Dress
Roaring 20s costumes

The first thing we saw when we walked in was this woman dressed in a red dress with this extremely long red train that went down the stairs.

Ronn and Devin

Our last day was spent on the dock where a clambake of lobster, clams, steak and fried oyster po-boys were served. Later that evening we had our grand finale to this amazing weekend at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Largo for a black tie silent auction dinner with the “Doobie Brothers” as our entertainment. Needless to say, it all felt like a dream. Perfect weather, food, company and entertainment. I don’t think we will ever forget what we did the weekend of 11/11/11 and will always be in gratitude for our Vets and this glorious weekend spent in West Palm Beach. Thank your Wally, Lori, Jim and Parvina for inviting us along. Truly an amazing memory for us.

Ronn and I had fun attending PLAYER drummer, Craig Pilo’s wedding reception to his adorable Brazilian bride, Angela. They have been married a year and finally got around to a wedding reception. Speaking of weddings, you guys have to view this funny video that Craig did on a Wedding Band Drummer You guys will laugh your asses off!

Ronn, Spacemonk aka Johnny Englis and Craig

As always it was awesome to hang out with Spacemonk aka Johnny English. The food was amazing and catered by Pierre’s Catering who also owns Planet Sushi. I fell in love with Pierre and his creative style of presenting appetizers that I may have him present my gumbo for our next jam party. In addition to Craig wedding reception, Ronn and I were invited by stunt coordinator,

Katherine Kelly Lang & Wally Crowder

Wally Crowder to attend the Stuntwoman’s Awards.  I got to meet

Vivica Fox & Dev

Vivica Fox whom I found, charming and funny. I’ve always  admired her acting and loved her in “Kill Bill.” Ronn was a presenter along with Katherine Kelly Lang who joined us at the luncheon.  So now we are getting ready for cooler days as fall and Halloween are just around the corner.  I think most of you know by now that  Ronn is always his happiest playing music, so I’d like to plan a small acoustic jam party as soon as he has a break from B&B.  Seems this time of the year is always so full because B&B does alot of holiday gatherings on camera, which entails long days because the whole cast is usually included. Poor Ronn had to sleep in his dressing room one long night because of the drive and another early call the next day. He was just exhausted and rightfully so.These long hours of him puts a damper on me nailing him down to autograph items for Ebay, give me photos to blog or just have a date night with my hubby. So having fun and rare moments with dear friends, family or just each other is totally relished and appreciated.  So in appreciation, We want to thank our friend Robin Krasny for the is awesome video of  PLAYER in Vero Beach recently.  We had so much fun there and it shows when you watch this video. Robin really took care of us and we are grateful to have this fun video to share with you!  Now that the holidays are just around the corner. I have our wonderful DevRonn  fanclub president Gea helping me with Ebay items for you guys just in time for Christmas! She has been a great help to me in posting items from Ronn and me personalized to your desire. I’m thinking of parting with my computer, Playboy collectibles, clothing, shoes and jewelry. I’m sure I’ll eventually get Ronn to clean out his closet and give you a scarf or underwear, just kidding!  He may give you one of his precious jackets, pillow cases, posters, T-shirts  or a pair of his shoes or maybe his ipad?  Whatever I get out of him, it’s yours! Check out Ronn\’s Ebay  or Devin\’s Ebay stores for items that are now posted. Auction items are coming soon!

DevRonn

Since we returned from PLAYER performing in Vero Beach it’s been non-stop for Ronn on B&B and me so I haven’t had time to blog until now. We had so much fun and want to thank our dear friend Robin Krasny for taking such good care of us with healthy food, wine and video taping the band. Ronn will be editing that footage soon to post something for you guys to see. I also want to thank my amazing friend Laura Poe for the wonderful pics she took onstage. It was nice to see some of my dearest friends like JoNell Gay and her daughter Isabelle who was born on my birthday. It had been years since I’d seen them, so it was very special for me.

Rob Math, Peter Beckett, Ronn Moss

The show was fantastic and we hope to have many more PLAYER concerts coming up! Our anniversary was certainly a memorable one. Thanks to Robin we stayed at the beautiful Vero Beach Hotel and Spa overlooking the beach.

Ronn, me, Peter and Eden

We hung out with Peter Beckett and Eden Ayers and had a fun time until I slipped and fell and hit my chin in the pool, ouch! I was bruised and sore for a few days and jaw hurt badly. Luckily I’m feeling better now, but I couldn’t chew on one side  of my mouth for a few days. The other day Ronn and I attended  a fundraiser for the Humane Society. An invite from our friends Bob and Kira Lorsch.  Many thanks to Ms. Lois Pope who gave 1 million dollars to such a worthy cause.

Remember I did a bunny PSA for them. I  was happy to hear that many bunnies have gotten adopted since.  Yesterday I did my first personal appearance in 5 years and saw some wonderful Playmates there, such as Cathy St. George, Corinna Harney, Ava Fabian and Teri Harrison.  It was so nice to see many of you again after so many years and I do hope to do more in future if my schedule permits. Ronn was so sweet to help me set up my booth and lug all my merchandise, as well as, take photos with me and some of you guys. I’m now resting today and catching up on various writing projects. Looking forward to fall and cooler weather so that I can cook some of my soup recipes! check out this PLAYER video. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/user/devronnfilms?feature=mhum#p/a/u/0/uLx0Ub9FfAI]

PLAYER is performing with Bad Company and other groups in Vero Beach, Florida on Saturday September 24th and we are so excited. Our 2nd year wedding anniversary is September 25th so we are staying to celebrate it there. Some of my Louisiana girlfriends will be at the concert so I’m super excited to party with them. If you are around the area and want to see PLAYER this is your chance for a super fun weekend of great music! Ronn is looking forward to meeting many of you there and so am I so I hope if you are around you will come by and see us!

I’m sure today was a day of reflection for most Americans. I know it was for me and it’s hard to believe that 10 years have flown by, however that day that will never be forgotten. It was the day we lost our innocence and it seemed like time stood still for days after that attack. That’s why we should embrace everyday of life with love and joy. It was beautiful how we came together as a nation helping those in need even though we were in pain. There is nothing we can’t achieve if we stand together. I know we are living in trying times financially and environmentally, but if we open our eyes and see how far we have come, stand together and embrace life with love and joy, we can conquer any evil that stands in our way. I’m grateful for all my loving wonderful friends, family, health, home, husband, animals and anything in life that brings out smiles of love and warmth.  Americans will stand as tall as those twin towers and continue to live life to the fullest. Here are a few of my favorite pictures taken this week from joyful moments in my life. I was reunited with two long time friends from my past that I hadn’t see in over a decade. Ronn made a new friend with the drummer Frankie Banali  from “Quiet Riot.” Frankie is also our neighbor and now engaged to a girlfriend of mine,  so I don’t think that’s a coincidence.  We look forward to making lots more memories to share.

Zsa Zsa Gabor

Seems summer has just flown by and it’s been so nice to have Ronn home for nearly a month. We have had a few parties, been to a few parties, like the Playboy’s Midsummer party and Zsa Zsa Gabor’s 25th anniversary party. Creason has been in Paris most of the summer, so Calee has been with us mostly.

Sandi Taylor, Me and Alana Curry

We took her to Bass Lake where I got to hang out with two of my favorite gal pals, Sandra Taylor and Alana Curry. I’m now looking forward to doing some more writing and editing when the girls go back to school. It will be a bit of a break for me since Creason is now driving. Ronn and PLAYER are getting ready to do a concert  in Vero, Beach, Florida in September. I will post details on how to get tickets soon. I am excited to be making my first personal appearance in 5 years on Oct 1st at the LAX Marriot for the “Sign of the Times.” Spices, books, photos and videos will be available for personalized autographs. I’m also loving my Mary Kay products and find that my skin is glowing from daily use. If you want to purchase products or be on my team as a consultant please go to my  Mary Kay website here.  As the final days of summer approach,

Lori, Devin and Wally

I’m thrilled to help my pal Wally Crowder throw his first “Gator Growl” bash on Labor Day weekend. This should be a kickass party to end what has been a terrific summer before “Back to School” time.

German artist Michael Mobius is in town and that always means 3D photos and videos. Since he’s been staying with us for the past week, he’s taken quite a few from the parties we’ve attended. Seems summer is flying by and I must say it’s been a fun and relaxing one for us.We attended Nadia Bjorlin’s

Nadia, Dev, Wally and Lori

birthday party that was also filmed by E for the new reality show, “Dirty Soap.” Ronn and I love Nadia and Brandon and Nadia is super special because she and Ronn sang together at our wedding. I’m now waiting for theirs! I predict ‘Dirty Soap” will be a hit!

DevRonn

Then as always Hef’s “Midsummer Night Dreams” party is always a #1 hit.  This is year it was great to see all of our friends such as, Lorenzo Lamas, Bill Maher and

Bud Cort, Ronn and Devin

“Harold and Maude” Bud Cort. Ronn and took a ride on his Harley to a Beverly Hill’s pool party and caught the movie, “Cowboys and Aliens” at the Playboy mansion before jamming with PLAYER at home for an upcoming concert with the “Little River Band” that I am so looking forward to.

Ronn's Harley

The boys are just sooo great together and I’m anxious for more tour dates to fit into Ronn’s schedule with B&B. We are hoping for a European tour in the near future! Tomorrow we head to Bass Lake for some water sports and a chance for me to hang with Alana Curry and Sandra Taylor, two of my most beautiful girlfriends. Sandi had a daughter the same age as Calee, so  they should have a blast. You need the red Cyan 3D glasses to view these amazing photos posted and I will be posting many more, as well as, video later. Hope you guys are staying cool through this hot summer and having fun too!

  • 1 1-pound top sirloin steak, cut into 2-inch-long, 1/4-inch-thick slices
  • 1 tablespoon Asian sesame oil

Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add ginger and mushrooms; stir-fry until mushrooms are tender, about 3 minutes. Add beef to skillet; stir-fry until beef browns but is still pink in center, about 1 minute. Add snow peas, half of green onions, and half of cilantro; stir-fry 1 minute. Stir in hoisin, chili-garlic sauce, and five-spice powder; sauté until peas are crisp-tender, 1 to 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to bowl. I just read this article that says “All My Children” and “One Life To Live” will continue online, which doesn’t surprise me. I’ve been telling Ronn for the past few years that I believe television will soon be a thing of the past and will merge with the Internet. Networks are really behind and stuck in the 20th century. The fact that they keep soaps separated from the rest of television is a joke. Many huge stars were once soap stars and no longer is it a man’s world. The days when women stayed home and men were the only bread winners are long gone. Women are in the work force and both sexes need to work to make ends meet. So there is an audience for soaps and long and faithful one, but they aren’t watching their shows during the day anymore. They tape them and watch them at night or on the Internet. It really is silly to continue to separate daytime actors. They work harder than other actors who do film and prime time shows and those actors get paid way more! When you work on a film or prime time show there are numerous takes to make the actor look good and only a few pages of dialogue to memorize. Daytime actors have sometimes up to 40-50 pages of dialogue to memorize and only one or two takes to get it right. It’s so not fair and networks are just stupid. They believe most people watch TV at night, but are ignoring the power of the Internet and loyalty of Daytime fans.  I think this move to put soaps on the Internet will be a good one and could start to change television completely.  How cool would it be to have a huge television screen that is also your computer? The problem with television is that they are not open to the fast changing pace of the 21st century. I remember when film actors didn’t do television and now you see many film actors on TV. You also see actors from hit TV shows merge into major films, but soap actors are still stuck in the 1950s regarding their status within the industry. I call that discrimination. There has been talk of SAG merging with AFTRA which is much needed for the actors. It’s very stupid as I’ve said before to separate Daytime Emmys from The Emmys. They should be one as it’s all television. So perhaps with this noted change from television to the Internet, the soaps can take a life of their own and thrive even more, as more people are on the Internet anyway. So I say to television, you will be a extinct soon enough, so wake up and get into the 21st century!!!

Ronn Moss and Brad Bell

The past couple of weeks have been crazy, but fun! We headed to Vegas for the Daytime Emmys and had a great time hanging out at the B&B parties. Of course, B&B took top honors again for the 3rd year in a row as “Best Daytime Drama.” They won a total of 12 Emmys and we were so proud. It was then time for my birthday and I decided to have a few friends join us at Winsor’s latin restaurant, “D’Cache” to hear PLAYER do a few acoustic songs.

Winsor Harmon, Johnny English, Rob Math
Frank Stallone, Ronn and Devin

Frank Stallone joined in and sang a couple of Blues numbers and helped make it a very special birthday. The only bummer was that my pal Tina O couldn’t be there as she’s been so ill.

Devin

The next morning Ronn brought up all my presents to open and it felt like Christmas in June.  I then had to prepare for a stunt scene on the TV show, “Dexter” which was a lot of fun. I also just did an interview for a new Playboy TV show called, “Playmates.” This show takes a look at what’s happening to Playmates from the past now.  So of course I talked about “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” and my books. It’s also been a challenge to find time in between kids to see my pal Tino O who’s been ill.  Ronn and I  went over to visit her and model some of her clothing items for her wannawear line. Ronn shot the pictures for Tina’s new website. Now we are getting ready for the 4th of July, which we will spend at the Playboy mansion. Since Hef’s wedding did not happen, we are anxious to see him. It really feels like summer now and we are preparing to have a few parties of our own.  I’d like to have just my girlfriends over for a potluck and a BBQ with a few neighbors and their kids.  Ronn and I aren’t planning to travel this summer, we’d rather stay home since we traveled so much last year. So the summer madness will continue as we party all summer long!

Ronn and I have been having a blast with our friends the past few weeks. Hanging out with dear friends like my pal

Alana Curry

Alana for her awesome birthday bash and attending events like the celebrity gun shoot where we met new friends like. “Leave It to Beaver” star Jerry Mathers and “Housewives of Orange County”, Peggy and Micha Tanous.

Peggy, Micha, Dev

We have been having a great time and looking forward to summer.  As always, it’s a busy time for us with charities, parties, events and kids. Starting with “The Daytime Emmys” in Las Vegas. Ronn is presenting and it’s the day after Hugh Hefner’s wedding and that’s one wedding we are looking forward to! Then there’s my birthday and that’s followed by the 4th of July! So it’s going to be a fun summer! I am not planning any trips and would like to stay home and entertain with some small intimate dinner parties. I will also work on a new cookbook that is gluten-free and dairy free since I’m loving my new eating habits and am enjoying making up new recipes.

Ronn

Ronn wants to work on music and prepare for more tour dates with PLAYER. We are also making some needed repairs to our home and I’d love to redecorate some rooms. Now that I’m officially a California licensed realtor I hope to perhaps make some sales in this slow real estate market. In the meantime, I am happy to work on my next book, edit more videos for youtube and enjoy the upcoming summer with parties and events. We hope whatever you have planned this summer will be fun and exciting too!
